Curbside Meals at MAYC Service is Expanding Starting on April 5 Meals will be available to a limited number of people on a daily basis Monday through Friday by calling the Mary Ann Young Center at 763-786-9375. The Saturday meal must be picked up on Friday. The menu will be published monthly in the MAYCConnect newsletter. Take a look at the menu and let staff know which meals you plan to pick up curbside. Meals ordered must be picked up between 11:45AM-12:15PM. Form a line under the main entrance driveway. Wear a mask. Have your passenger window rolled down. Staff will deliver the meal to your car and set it in the passenger seat. A container will be offered to collect donations to cover meal expenses. You may pay by the day or week, whichever is most convenient. The suggested donation is $4 per meal. The meals are prepared by the National Sports Center. Meal orders must be placed by end of business day on Thursday for the following week. If the maximum meal count is reached on any given day, a wait list will be started and you will be notified if a meal becomes available. The first week of curbside meal service will be April 5.

New Program Options Coming Starting in May It has been a long year and we have patiently waited for the day when we could restart many of your favorite programs. That day is finally here and MAYC staff are excited to announce that several programs will be offered in person starting in May. For continued safety we will hold many programs outside on the lawn. Expect programming such as bingo, woodcarving, sing-a-longs, ukulele, book club, defensive driving refresher class, and movie day to be available soon. Registration will be required for all MAYC programming. Face masks are required as well as social distancing. The MAYC staff are looking forward to seeing you again. Some virtual options will also continue for those who want to continue to connect in that way. Watch for program details in the next issue of the MAYCConnect. Registration for programs will take place on online at BlaineMN.gov/MAYCRegister.
