Parent/Caregiver & Child Classes

Parent or guardian must attend and are active participants. All of our Parent and Child classes promote bonding between you and your child while helping develop cognitive, social, and motor skills. All children attending the class must be registered! Most classes will be held on the upper level of the Allison-Henderson Park building located at 1500 Loras Blvd. (abbreviated AH Upper Level). Age: 18 mo. - 5 yrs. Wednesdays/Fridays, Jan. 12 - 28 10-11:30 a.m. Bunker Hill Clubhouse

We are converting our Bunker Hill Clubhouse into a play gym! We will have a bounce house, ball pits, learning stations, balance beams, mats and more! Children will build important social and developmental skills and heighten their sense of wonder and discovery in this free form, fun-filled unstructured setting. Parent-child bonding is nourished as everyone has a great time! Parent/caregiver and child class.

Winter Adventures – 0300.104 $12/R, $14.50/NR

Age: 18 mo. - 4 yrs. Mondays, Jan. 24 & 31 10-11 a.m. AH Upper Level

Come in from the cold and enjoy some themed winter activities and games. Participants will be engulfed with winter fun as we stay warm and cozy inside Allison Henderson. This class will be packed with stories, crafts, and games to celebrate all the great things about winter! Parent/caregiver and child class. Messy Hands – 0300.177 $12/R, $14.50/NR

Age: 18 mo. - 4 yrs. Mondays, Feb. 7 & 14 10-11 a.m. AH Upper Level

Squish, spread, print, push, poke, and squeeze to see what happens. Explore paints, glue, a variety of playdoughs, and more. Your child will enjoy creating and having fun with messy hands. Every class will have different projects. Dress for a mess. Parent/caregiver and child class.

Toddler Play Group – 0750.220

Age: 18 mo. - 4 yrs. Mondays, Feb. 21 & 28, Mar. 7 10-11 a.m. AH Upper Level

We provide this Parent-Child Playgroup in our welcoming Allison Henderson Building for parents and caregivers to interact and build skills with their children through play and for families to connect with one another and with valuable resources. There will be a portion of the class designated to adult time as well, as we program for your children. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy conversing with other parents/ caregivers.
