BOARD AND COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS
The City Council recently filled various vacancies across our boards and commissions, including the Board of Adjustment, Historic Overlay District Architectural Review Board, Planning and Zoning Commission, and the Tax Increment Financing Reinvestment Zone No. One Board. Serving on these boards is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our city. Thank you to all the applicants for their interest and participation.
RACIAL PROFILING REPORT
Police Chief Carrie White presented the Forney Police Department's annual Racial Profiling Report. The report contains all motor vehiclerelated contact data for 2023, as the law requires. Additionally, the Sandra Bland Act requires that law enforcement agencies within the State of Texas collect additional data and provide a more detailed analysis. STREET MAINTENANCE PLAN
The third-party pavement study and the city’s street maintenance plan are now available on our website. This study and other factors, such as traffic volume, are considered when determining what maintenance will be performed first. TEXAS INDEPENDENCE DAY CONCERT
Get excited for our FREE Texas Independence Day Concert on March 2nd, featuring headliner The Wilder Blue alongside Micky and the Motorcars and Harper O'Neill!
