Teens - Ages 13 - 17 Open Gym Shoot Around @ Oakview (Ages 13 - 17) This is a time for teens to just "shoot around" and play basketball in a more casual, physically distanced setting. Participants are encouraged to bring their own ball, or one can be provided. We aim to serve youth through educational experiences that not only enhance self confidence in their abilities but also impact them socially, emotionally and developmentally. Morehead Recreation Center Thursdays, July 22, 29, August 5, 4 - 7 p.m. $25 per person/per class Learn to Sail Lessons For Youth (Ages 11 - 17) Learn the basics of sailing through hands-on experience and the help of experienced sailors from the Oak Hollow Sailing Club. Course includes classroom instruction followed by time on the water. Life jackets are provided. Oak Hollow Marina Monday - Friday, July 26 - 30, 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. $150 per person/per week Youth Summit (Ages 12 - 18) "Unleashing the Power of Youth" is a three-day event designed for middle and high school students. Its aim is to educate participants on best practices that reduce youth violence in our communities, with a focus on overcoming challenges and obstacles.
