Mighty Mite Tiaras Cheer Team (Ages 4 - 6)
Our Mighty Mite Tiaras cheerleading program teaches younger athletes the essential skills to lead the crowd in enthusiastically supporting their team! Participants will learn cheers, jumping techniques and proper hand and body movement. There is no stunting, just a big focus on fun! The Tiaras will perform at halftime during the home youth football games on Saturdays and end their season with a performance at High Point Parks & Recreation's annual cheer exhibition!

More Flips More Fun Gymnastics and Tumbling Class
(Ages 5 - 12)
This fun class builds skills in gymnastics and tumbling! Students will do floor work and utilize the tumble track, beam and vault. We will also focus on physical conditioning and strength training.

Let's Make Some Racquet! (Ages 5 - 12)
Tennis helps build character, focus and sportsmanship. This free program is designed to give young coed participants the foundational skills of tennis through game play and a step-by-step curriculum guided by staff. Previous tennis experience and skill level are not required.

R.E.D. Zone Youth Football & Cheerleading (Ages 6 - 12)
R.E.D. Zone youth football league and cheer teams are back for a fourth season! This partnership between the High Point, Greensboro and Thomasville Parks & Recreation departments focuses on recreation, education & development, or "R.E.D." The new season will offer more teams, new faces, a community-driven focus and minimal travel. Please contact 336.883.3621 for information on football and 336.883.8599 to learn more about our cheer program. Age is determined as of Sept. 1, 2023.

Let's Make Some Racquet! Intermediate (Ages 8 - 12)
Tennis builds character, focus and sportsmanship. This program is designed to give young coed participants the intermediate foundational skills of tennis through game play and step-by-step curriculum guided by staff. Please note, participants must have previously completed the Let's Make Some Racquet program for beginners.

All-Star Stomp-N-Shake Cheerleading Team Tryouts
(Ages 9 - 17)
Demonstrate your best cheerleading and dance skills to try and earn one of the coveted spots on our All-Star StompN-Shake Cheerleading Team! Please note that the required tryout attire is workout-type clothing, a white t-shirt and black bottoms.
Washington Terrace Community Center
Monday - Thursday, Aug. 28 -31, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Registration for tryouts is free. Fees will be collected from those who make the team. ($125)
Paddle Battle Ball (Ages 10 - 16)
Paddle Battle Ball is an open-gym program focusing on the games of pingpong, pickleball and badminton. Stop by and play some of these paddle sports during this free, open play time and partake in some friendly competition!
