How much does renting a pavilion cost? Rental fees are based on the size and location of the pavilion. O’Fallon residents pay less than nonresidents, with fees ranging from $25 to $100. Pavilion rentals are for the entire day.

How do I reserve a pavilion? To find out if a pavilion is available for your event, call 636-379-5606. However, pavilions must be rented in person at either the Parks and Recreation Office at 400 Civic Park Drive or the Renaud Spirit Center at 2650 Tri Sports Circle. Rentals are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Sorry, we cannot “hold” pavilions.

Do all O’Fallon City parks have pavilions? No, only five of the City’s parks have pavilions for rent.

Civic Park is a delight in any season, but especially in the summer when Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center offers firstrate outdoor recreation for all ages. The park has large shade trees, two playgrounds (one with excellent handicapped access), a concrete walking path and horseshoe pits. Interstate access: about ¾ mile north of I-70.

O’Fallon Sports Park features 12 soccer fields, playgrounds, two concession stands, and the Renaud Spirit Center, a state-of-the-art indoor recreation complex with a natatorium and an art gallery. Interstate access: about 1.5 miles north of I-64 (Highway 40), or four miles south of I-70.

Fort Zumwalt Park has amenities that set it apart: two historic sites, native woodland scenery and fishing in Lake Whetsel. The Heald Home, built circa 1884, is open during special events and by appointment only. A large limestone chimney and an interpretive sign mark the site of Zumwalt’s Fort, a War of 1812 settler fort.

Westhoff Park is tucked into north O’Fallon neighborhoods, and offers numerous outdoor recreation features: lighted baseball and softball diamonds, Pee Wee fields, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, two playgrounds, including Brendan’s Playground, Westhoff Plaza skate park and two concession stands. Interstate access: about one mile north of I-70.

A one-mile asphalt walking-jogging path loops through the park, which includes a large playground under shady trees.

The O’Fallon Historical Society’s Log Cabin Museum also is open for tours by appointment and during special events.
