Our trainers and staff are always working to introduce new ideas for you and your family to stay active and healthy. We’re excited to introduce two NEW offerings this January that just might get the whole family up and moving! Think PE classes are boring? Think again! Family Fit will be run by Beth Thomas, one of our incredible fitness instructors and personal trainers. Parents and children will work together and get fit through fun, high-energy games and activities. All fitness levels are welcome, as this class is a great opportunity for homeschooling families to get their PE credits! Cardio Kickboxing is the newest fitness class getting added to our awesome lineup of fitness offerings. Punch and kick the air to burn calories in a fun and exciting way using only your bodyweight! This class will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for 45 minutes and is a part of your group fitness upgrade. Get ready to get your sweat on!

Please register in advance! All classes have a minimum and maximum enrollment. To keep classes from being cancelled due to low registration, please register at least six days in advance of the start date. Once a class is cancelled, it will not be rescheduled. For example, if a class begins on a Monday, you must register no later than Tuesday of the previous week. Waiting list procedures If a program is filled, we’ll place your name on a waiting list and notify you if space becomes available.
Activity codes Codes are used to identify a course for the purpose of registration. For online registration, you can use the activity code to search for specific classes.
Account at the Renaud Center. Residents ages 16 and under must be accompanied by a resident parent or resident guardian to obtain a Resident Privilege Account. The account expires one year from the date issued.
Definition of a “resident” “Residents” are people who live within the City of O’Fallon’s corporate limits. City limits and Post Office boundaries are not the same, so it is possible to have an O’Fallon address, yet live outside the City, or have a postal address in an adjacent municipality, yet live in O’Fallon.
Proof of residency To obtain a Resident Privilege Account, you must present both proof of identity and proof of residency. Acceptable forms of photo ID, which must show your current City of O’Fallon address, include: •

Pavilion rentals No matter what kind of outdoor celebration you’re planning, O’Fallon Parks and Recreation Departments have a pavilion that meets your needs! We have various sizes of pavilions located in six of our parks. Pavilions are offered for both full-day and half-day rentals. Learn more by visiting our website!
Athletic field rentals Both lighted and non-lighted sports fields are available for reservation by the public when not scheduled otherwise. Our parks are home to football fields, baseball/softball diamonds, and soccer fields! Inquire about rental availability online through our website forms.
Campsite rentals Overnight camping reservations for Scout groups and organizations are available in O’Day Park. Two large campsites are nestled amongst the wooded area, accommodating up to 25 campers each. Interested groups can learn more about the campsite on the O’Fallon Parks & Recreation website.
Rentals at Renaud Center Multi-Purpose Room rental This versatile room easily accommodates 50 people and has a sink, countertop space and tile floors. Tables and chairs can be set up at no extra cost. Outside food is allowed for an additional fee.
Gymnasium rental The gymnasium features two full-size basketball courts, an optional dividing curtain, and plenty of room for spectators. A minimum one-hour rental is required.
Natatorium rental Pool parties are limited to a maximum of 150. The natatorium includes zero-depth pool entry, interactive play structures, three lap lanes, a lazy river, a vortex and 185-foot water slide. A minimum one-hour rental is required.
Lock-in & combo rentals Lock-ins are popular for graduations, reunions, school and church gatherings. A minimum six-hour rental is required. Facilities include:

Trolley Rides Available Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays (excluding Dec 3 & 24) Take a ride on the newest way to experience the Celebration of Lights! The trolleys are fully enclosed and heated, with comfortable padded seats, and huge windows all around! Trolleys will be adorned with festive decorations, and playing your favorite holiday music! Tickets are $15 per seat. Each trolley can accommodate 30 passengers. Riders must park at Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center, and arrive 15 minutes prior to your ride time for loading. With more than a million twinkling lights and sparkling holiday scenes designed and funded by local organizations, this festive one-mile route will put everyone in the holiday spirit. Started in 1991, this holiday tradition attracts more than 13,000 vehicles each year, and more than 15,000 individuals take a walk under the shimmering canopy of lights during the Old-Fashioned Holiday Stroll. Drive through the park in your own vehicle and experience the display with your family. Celebration of Lights is open from 6–9 p.m. nightly! Tickets are $15 per vehicle and must be purchased in advance online at www.ofallon.mo.us/COL, via phone at 636-474-2732, or in person at the Renaud Center. Once purchased, tickets are good for any night of the festival, no reservations needed! *Park is closed to vehicles on the following dates: Nov 27, Dec 3, 4 , 5, and 11.
Old-Fashioned Holiday Stroll December 3, 4, 5 6–8:30 p.m., Fort Zumwalt Park We are excited to expand our traditional Old-Fashioned Holiday Stroll to three nights this year! Visitors will walk along the illuminated route, visit with Santa and other special holiday characters, live reindeer (on select nights), and enjoy a fireworks show over Lake Whetsel. Fireworks start at 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. each night. Tickets are $6, and are now on sale! Tickets must be purchased in advance online at www.ofallon.mo.us/holiday-stroll, there will be no sales at the gate. All sales final.

Join us for this family-friendly Nerf Warz event! Enjoy constant shooting in our inflatable Nerf Field, along with a few games between matches. Each player will be supplied with a pair of safety glasses and an armory of foam darts, but participants must bring their own Nerf Gun capable of shooting 7.2cm foam darts. No outside darts will be allowed. Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, Jan 3.
We’re taking it back to the 1900’s with our Through the Decades Trivia Night! Each round of trivia will be themed to a specific 20th century decade. From political leaders to pop sensations, historical moments and culture fads, this night of trivia will cover events, music, fashion, and more. Registration is open to tables of up to 8. Groups may bring their own food and beverages to enjoy. Dress to impress!

Kids will have an egg-citing time searching the Renaud Center’s indoor pool for Easter eggs! Eggs will be placed in parts of the pool to accommodate all age groups. Martial Arts Tae Kwon Do • Ages 3–5, Ages 6–9, Ages 10–16, and Family (Ages 5–Adult) This six-week Martial Arts program will focus on the traditional Korean form of Tae Kwon Do known as Chung Do Kwan. This style is based on explosive movements, devastating power, and self-discipline. Students will progress through a series of techniques and belts at their own pace and will not necessarily test each session. Civic Dance Studio This great 9-month dance program encourages students to practice and improve throughout the school year and culminates with a year-end dance recital. New students can be accepted into the program at any time. Classes are held at the Krekel Civic Center, 305 Civic Park Drive, O’Fallon 63366. Civic Dance Studio classes emphasize correct technique, placement, elegance, and discipline. Class typically includes a warmup, progressive steps across the floor, and dance combos. Ballet classes include ballet and en pointe at the barre. Tuition does not include the required dance class attire (dance shoes, leotards, or tights) or recital costumes. Civic Dance Studio also has a Competition Team, and private lessons are available. Aquatics Aqua Aerobics Aqua Fit Beginner Swimming skills are not required for this beginner class, which offers a great way to get started in our water exercise program. Aqua aerobics is a low-impact exercise that strengthens muscles and joints and provides a great cardiovascular workout in the pool.
Aqua Power Intermediate Join our aqua aerobics class for an exhilarating, joint-friendly workout with low, medium, and high-intensity exercises. No swimming is required. We’ll focus on cardiovascular fitness and muscle conditioning with water dumbbells, noodles, and other pool fitness equipment.
Aquatic Programs & Activities Gateway Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) Ages 6 months–6 years Infant Swimming Resource is the safest and most effective provider of survival swimming lessons worldwide, teaching children how to use ISR self-rescue skills and giving them the competence and confidence they need to survive in the water.
Swim Team Prep for Beginners Join our prep class and work on your skills before the season starts! This class is for swimmers who have an understanding of all four strokes but have not been on the Torpedoes swim team in the past. This four-week class meets for 45 minutes twice a week and is taught by our Torpedoes coaches.
Therapeutic Aqua Aerobics If you have arthritis or a bone/joint condition, treat yourself to warm water and relieve aches and pains. No swimming skills are required in this class, which relieves bones of weightbearing stress as you strengthen muscles and joints. Specialized instruction will help you improve movement and flexibility.
Water Walking/Running Swimming is not required! Walk in the lazy river (you’ll find it’s not really so lazy) to improve cardiovascular health, balance, and flexibility. We offer two different types of walking classes: Water Walking, which meets twice a week, and Water Running, which meets once a week. Both classes mix up your workout with lazy river jets for resistance!
Aqua Cardio, Core and Toning Water exercise with use of noodles and dumbbells. Focus is on core strength, cardiovascular fitness, and an overall toning of the body.

O’Fallon Swim Academy is built on teaching aquatic and safety skills in a logical progression. Our goal is to teach children and adults how to swim and be safe in and around the water. The program is composed of 12 course levels and each child must pass a particular level before proceeding to the next.
Torpedoes Pre-Season Prep Get a jump start on the swim team season with our Torpedoes Pre-Season Prep classes! Participants must have at least one year of experience competing on a summer swim team. These sessions will get your child working on their endurance, fine-tuning their technical skills and improving their strokes, flip turns and finishes. Additional caps & shirts will be available for purchase. A parent meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 at the Renaud Center. This is for new parents only. The 2024 summer swim season runs from May 29 through August 2, and all parents are required to participate at swim meets. To qualify for the team, swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool without stopping. The Torpedoes team competes in the St. Charles County Summer Swim Team League and hosts several home meets throughout the season. Meets are usually held on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings. Customized Private/Semi-Private swimming lessons Recommended for Ages 3+ Private or Semi-Private lessons are for swimmers who are struggling with a few skills, want more individual attention, or are not sure what class would be the right fit. Private lessons include three 30-minute lessons, or practice with a friend or family member and make it a semi-private lesson. Private lessons are offered year-round at the Renaud Center. Please note, space is limited for private lessons. Private lesson requests can be filled out online at: www.renaudcenter.com/swimlessons. You may request specific instructors, your preferred location, and lesson timeframe. Lessons may be rescheduled or canceled with 24-hour advance notice. Parents or guardians will participate in the water during the first four classes. Find the right group lessons for your child To ensure success in the O’Fallon Swim Academy, it’s important to register children for the appropriate level. Children who have participated in the swimming program should register according to the last class successfully completed, moving to the next class or skill level when all skills from the previous level are mastered. Some classes may seem repetitive, but we want swimmers to perfect their skills in order to advance safely, not quickly. Children learn at different paces and it is common to repeat a class.
Advanced Lessons Ages 6–12 years
Independent swimmers learn and perfect the 4 swim strokes; Student/teacher ratio = 8:1
Level Four: Marlin • Ages 6+
Level One: Jellyfish • Ages 4+ Builds on basic swimming skills, reinforces independent swimming and introduces the freestyle and backstroke. Youth Soccer CORE Soccer Training Programs Our CORE programs promote and develop different skills to enhance the technical abilities of our young players! In First Touch and Play Time, participants will be introduced to the basics of soccer through fun games and props. In Ball Skills, players will work on dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting skills. These programs are designed to supplement the O’Fallon Youth Soccer League as well as introduce each child to the skills needed for all levels of play.

Youth Spring Soccer League • Ages 3–11 Kids love our exciting eight-game leagues which focus on soccer skills, rules and fun! Games are played at Sports Park on Saturdays between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Coach with us! Parent coaches are eligible to have one child’s registration fee reduced if slots are available. If you coach, you can register your child for only $25. Registration closes on March 11. Registrations after this date may be subject to a late registration fee. The Coaches’ Meeting will be held Saturday, March 23 at 8 a.m. for U4 – U7 coaches, and at 9:30 a.m. for all other leagues. Please note that roster requests do not register a child for the program and do not guarantee a child a spot in the program. Leagues U7 and younger will be awarded participation medals. Leagues for U11 and U12 may play 9v9 depending on registration. Divisions are split between age and gender, but may be combined based on registrations. Practices are scheduled by the coach with the team during the week. Practices are not a part of the fee you pay, so refunds or team changes will not be made to accommodate practice schedules. Each player will receive a jersey, socks and a ball.

Youth Weight Room Orientation • Ages 12–15

Those who are ages 12–15 are required to enroll in and pass the Youth Weight Room Orientation class before being permitted to use the fitness equipment. The class must be taken regardless if the child is working out with an adult. After attending the class, participants are required to get a wristband at the front desk before entering the Fitness Center, where they must wear the wristband at all times. Classes are held twice per month.

Upcoming Art Exhibitions
The City of O’Fallon is now accepting submissions for the 2024 Shape of Community sculpture series! This is a citywide, temporary sculpture exhibition, featuring large-scale works of art in prominent areas throughout the city, loaned by artists for an 18-month period.
A collection of Olympic Art from local collector and business owner, Jack Scharr and Fine Art Limited. Exhibition will be on display at all of our galleries, and open to the public starting January 22, 2024, and run through December 30th, 2024.
