WHAT IS A REGISTERED WEEKLY FITNESS CLASS? Registered weekly classes, formerly known as drop in classes, allow you to sign up for individual classes, instead of entire sessions. You can register for multiple individual classes at once or just one class at a time, however you MUST pre-register. As a reminder, you must wear a face mask while inside the recreation complex, however, you may remove your mask while participating in your outdoor recreation program(s). Use your memberships, or regular drop in rates apply.

REGISTERED HEALTH & FITNESS PROGRAMS Tai Chi and Qigong Relaxation Ages: 16 & up
Tai Chi is a type of martial art very well known for its health benefits. It is performed as a concentrated, slow, rhythmic, and centered, and coordinated body movements designed to enhance relaxation, inner calm, and peace. Tai Chi 'meditation in motion,' can help maintain strength, flexibility, and balance, muscle control and boost up your immunity. The Home Alone Program is designed to provide children with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time. This course will help children understand how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied. Babysitter's Training Ages: 11 & up
The Babysitter's Training Course is aimed at young people turning 12 years of age within the calendar year or older who want to demonstrate their capabilities by completing the course under responsible direction. The Babysitter's Training Course is loaded with special features such as: Child Development and Behavioral Problems, Safety, Handling Emergencies, Games and Play Activities, Children with Special Needs, and more. Learn the fundamentals of skateboarding with Tim Ladner from Townskate in a fun and safe environment. Students will learn everything from basic board maintenance, park etiquette all the way to proper pushing techniques and basic maneuvers. Helmets are required and pads recommended. This program is the tiny tot version of the big field game. This is the perfect introduction to the basic skills of soccer with emphasis on fun and skill development. Arrangments will be made in the event of poor weather.

Come out of the cold and rain to practice and refine your skateboarding skills in a fun, safe and environment. Bring a helmet and safely come together to practice your best maneuvers on our locally made skateboard apparatuses. Helmets mandatory pads recommended.
