The City of Sydney is working hard to support local entrepreneurs and startups through its creative spaces programs, which provide 56 low-cost studio, office, retail and apartment spaces for hundreds of artists, graphic designers, trans-media makers, musicians, fashion designers and other creative businesses in the city. Recent research by PwC on the startup economy suggests that if supported, the tech startup sector has the potential to contribute more than AU$109 billion to the national economy, along with 540,000 jobs, by 2033.

As Australia’s global city and the gateway to Asia, Sydney is the destination of choice for international corporations, business leaders, tourists and students.
