Ebru Marbling CleverPatch™ is delighted to bring you ARTDECO® Ebru Marbling direct from Turkey. Ebru is Turkish for marbling which means painting on water. The unique thickener medium suspends marbling paint on the surface until it is transferred onto paper.
How you do it 1.

What you need
It is very important to thicken your water with our ARTDECO® Marbling Medium Concentrate or you will just end up with coloured water! ARTDECO® Marbling Medium Concentrate allows your ARTDECO® water-based Marbling Paints to sit on top of the water. Once your water is thickened (according to the instructions on the bottle), drop marbling paints onto the surface using a tapping motion with a fine brush. Be careful, don’t use too much!
3.
Use skewers to mix, form colours, create lines and patterns.
4.
Carefully place a piece of paper over the surface and remove slowly to reveal your beautiful creation.
5.
Small strips of paper can be glided over the surface of the medium to collect any remaining paint.
6.
Once the surface is clear it is ready for your next creation.
