Bunny Party Hat
I’m great for your Easter Hat Parade!
Materials:

1. Cut out the template on page 13 and trace around it onto a piece of fluoro cardboard. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
2. Using scissors, cut out the shape you just traced onto your cardboard.
3. Roll your cardboard piece into a cone shape.
4. Use a stapler to hold your cardboard cone in place.
5. Trace the templates from page 14 onto coloured cardboard and cut out. This will be your bunny’s ears, nose and cheeks.
6. Cut a chenille stem in half. On the back of your bunny nose, use a glue dot to attach the two pieces of chenille stem as shown. These are your bunny’s whiskers.
7. Trim the chenille stems so they are even on both sides. Use glue dots to attach your bunny’s ears, cheeks and nose and whiskers to the cone hat.
8. Add wiggle eyes using glue dots and draw on a mouth for your bunny.
9. Carefully pierce a hole into either side of your hat using a sharp pencil. Thread through a 20cm piece of coloured elastic. Tie a knot in each end to hold in place. Your Bunny Party Hat is now ready to wear!

Make counting down to Easter even more fun with our cute Easter Bunny Countdown!
1. Construct your wooden bunny. Use glue for permanent assembly. Paint your bunny white. This will help brighten the colour you put over the top. Allow to dry. Paint your bunny orange using CleverPatch™ Acrylic Paint. Allow to dry.
2. Add features to your bunny. We have used stickers for the eyes and paint for the ears, nose and arms. Use a Permanent Marker to add whiskers and a mouth to your Countdown Bunny.
3. Colour in the template on page 15. Cut out each number and laminate. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors and a laminator.
5. You can change the numbers on your Bunny to match the number of days until Easter. You are now ready to countdown to Easter!

4. Attach two hook fasteners to your Countdown Bunny’s belly as shown. Attach a loop fastener to the back of each of the laminated numbers.

You could even make your own little chicks out of clay!
1. Soften the modelling clay with your hands. Spread the purple modelling clay around and over your bauble diorama to create an egg shape.
2. Smooth out the clay around the opening of the diorama.
3. Use the dark green modelling clay to create a stand to help your egg stay upright.
4. Roll small pieces of light green clay to make grass to decorate the dark green stand.
5. Create a small ball with the light blue clay. Press the ball of clay into the purple egg to create a dot. Repeat as many times as you wish!
6. Fill the inside of your egg with coconut fibre, then place some chicks into your egg. Your Colourful Clay Egg is now ready to go on display for Easter!

1. Trace your bunting pieces onto Easter craft paper and cut out. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Glue the craft paper to your wooden bunting. Allow to dry.
2. Cut out the templates from page 16. Trace the template pieces onto Easter craft paper and cut out.
3. Glue the colourful Easter shapes onto your bunting pieces. Allow to dry.
4. Use glue dots to add pom poms to your bunny template pieces to create 3D tails.
5. Thread one long piece of soft yarn through each of your bunting pieces. Leave enough yarn so you can hang your bunting then cut off any excess.
6. Your Easter Bunting is now ready to hang!

‘Happy Easter’ Embroidery Materials:
• Mini Embroidery Hoop with Fabric – 18930 • Sewing Needles – Sharp – Pack of 6 – 17870 • Embroidery Thread – Blue – 48m – 12375 • Embroidery Thread – Pink – 48m – 12378 • Pom Poms – Assorted – Pack of 150 – 16600 • Other materials required: template (page 16), scissors & ruler
1. Cut out the template provided on page 16. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors and a needle (step 4).
2. Press the template into the back of your mini embroidery hoop with the design facing down.
3. Hold your embroidery hoop with the template behind it up to the light. Lightly trace the design onto the fabric of your mini embroidery hoop.
4. Cut a 1 metre piece of blue embroidery thread. Carefully thread it through a sharp metal needle and tie a knot in the end.
5. Use the blue embroidery thread to embroider the text ‘Happy Easter’. We have chosen to use a back stitch technique.
6. Once completed, tie the end of the blue embroidery thread into a knot and trim any excess thread.
7. Cut a 2 metre piece of pink embroidery thread. Embroider the bunny using back stitches. Tie the end of the thread into a knot and trim any excess thread.
8. Using some of the excess thread, sew on a small pom pom as your bunny’s tail. Make sure to tie a knot in the back to secure the pom pom in place.
9. Cut a 30cm piece of blue embroidery thread. Thread through the top of your embroidery hoop and tie the ends together. Your Easter Embroidery is now ready to hang!

Hang near a window so the light can shine through!
1. Paint your wooden cross wreath white using CleverPatch™ Acrylic Paint. Allow to dry.
2. Choose 9 different colours of tissue paper. Cut a strip of each colour of tissue paper measuring 3cm wide and 15cm long. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
3. Use PVA glue to stick the tissue paper strips diagonally down the back, left side and then diagonally down the back, right side. Make sure there are no gaps in between each piece. Allow to dry.
4. Trim any excess tissue paper around the wooden wreath.
5. Add a small amount of glue to the outside of the wooden wreath and sprinkle on glitter. Allow to dry. Use a gold POSCA Marker to write an Easter message on your wreath.
6. Cut a piece of ribbon 20cm long and thread through the hole at the top of your wreath. Tie the ends into a knot. Your Easter Cross Wreath is now ready to hang!

1. Wash your rocks before decorating and allow to dry. Paint your rocks white using CleverPatch™ Acrylic Paint. Allow to dry.
2. Add colour to your rocks using coloured CleverPatch™ Acrylic Paints. Allow to dry.
3. Research the meaning of Easter and special symbols that represent this time. Draw your chosen symbols onto your rocks using a gold POSCA marker.
4. Coat your rocks using CleverPatch™ Gloss finish to protect your designs. Allow to dry.

Thorn Crown Candle Materials:

The thorn crown represents Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and the candle represents his resurrection and new life!
1. Use a scratch board tool to carefully scratch out the words you want to write onto your candle. We have chosen to write ‘HE HAS RISEN’.
2. Fill the letters with gold acrylic paint. Make sure to get right into the indents!
3. Wipe off the excess paint using a damp piece of paper towel. Allow to dry.
4. Cut 15 pieces of raffia measuring 15cm long and bunch them together. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
5. Cut 8 pieces of raffia measuring 10cm long. Use these to tie the long pieces of raffia from step 4 together as shown in the image above.
6. Tie the ends of the raffia rope you have just created together, making sure your candle will sit within the circle created. Trim any excess pieces.
7. Place the candle inside the raffia as shown in the image above.
8. Cut 2 toothpicks into thirds and stick them into the raffia to act as thorns. Be careful of the sharp points!
9. Your Thorn Crown Candle is now ready to display on Easter Sunday! Adult supervision recommended when burning candles.*
*Please ensure your raffia crown is removed prior to lighting.

1. Choose a piece of craft paper and cut out a strip that measures 25cm long and 6cm wide. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Glue to your jar using tacky glue. Allow to dry.
2. Decorate your jar using cardboard, rhinestones, chenille stems and glitter Easter stickers! We attached our decorations using glue dots and tacky glue. Don’t forget to write “Prayer Jar” using a Maxi Permanent Marker.
3. Paint your giant popsticks using CleverPatch™ Yellow Acrylic Paint. Allow to dry. We started off with 6, but you can use as many as you like!
4. Use a permanent pen to write prayer prompts onto your popsticks.

5. Place the prayer prompts into your decorated jar. Your Prayer Jar is now ready to use!

Cross Scratch Board Card Materials:

1. Use your scratch board tool to decorate your scratch board card with symbols that remind you of Easter time.
2. Cut a yellow piece of cardboard measuring 5.5 x 6cm. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
3. Cut a piece of raffia 80cm long. Wrap the raffia around the yellow piece of cardboard and tie in a knot at the back.
4. Continue to wrap the piece of raffia around the cardboard lengthwise 3 times, then crosswise 3 times to create a cross. Tie the end of the raffia to the knot at the back.
5. Cut a 10cm piece of raffia and use to tie a double knot in the centre of the cross to pull it together. Trim any excess raffia.
6. Use glue dots to mount the yellow cardboard with raffia to a purple piece of cardboard that is 7 x 8cm.
7. Use glue dots to attach the coloured cardboard to the front of your scratch board card.
8. Write a lovely Easter message inside your card.
9. Your Cross Scratch Board Card is ready to give to someone special at Easter time!
