A great gift for holding your bits and pieces!

1. Roll 120g of air dry clay into a ball. Using a rolling pin, flatten the ball into an oval about 1cm thick and 11cm long. Use your finger to smooth the edges.

2. Pinch the edges up to create a shallow tray that is about 2cm in height. Smooth out the surface. You can use a small amount of water to help with this.

3. Press a nice message or a name in the bottom of the tray using the stamper set. Leave aside to dry completely.

4. Think about a design to paint your tray. We have painted our tray with stripes and painted around the message, but you can decorate your tray however you like. Allow to dry.

5. Coat your tray with gloss finish and allow to dry.

6. Your Spare Change Tray is now ready to use or gift!

1. Roll 100g of air dry clay into a ball. Use a rolling pin to flatten the clay so it is 1cm thick. Flatten the edges against your work surface to create a square. Use your finger to smooth the sides.

2. Poke a hole through the centre of the base using a skewer. We recommend adult supervision when working with skewers. Set aside to dry completely.

3. Paint your clay base black and allow to dry.

4. Paint one side of a decofoam cube black. Paint the opposite side black and allow to dry. Repeat for another two cubes.

5. Paint the remaining sides of your cubes using a single colour for each cube. We have chosen green, blue and orange. Allow to dry.

6. Mix equal parts of black and white paint to create a dark grey colour. Paint 3 medium sized wooden beads with the grey mixture. Allow to dry.

7. Print out 6 of your favourite photos. Draw and cut out a 4 x 4cm square around the subject in each photo.

8. Cut out 4 x 4cm squares from your chosen colours of cover paper. You will need 6 squares in total. We have chosen to use red and yellow paper.

9. Use a permanent pen to write a message or draw a picture onto your coloured squares.

You could also create a larger base to make multiple photo towers in one! Leave enough space between each tower so the cubes can spin. It’s perfect for any desktop or workspace!

10. Insert a wooden skewer into the clay base piece so the pointed end is facing up. Glue the skewer in place and allow to dry.

11. Glue a photo to one coloured side

of your cube. Glue a second photo to the opposite side, making sure they are facing the same direction. Repeat for the remaining two cubes.

12. Glue the coloured paper squares to the remaining coloured sides of your cubes. Allow to dry.

13. Place a cube onto the skewer so it is pierced through the centre of the cube. Push the cube down so it sits on top of the base.

14. Thread a grey bead onto the skewer so it sits on top of the first cube.

15. Repeat steps 13 and 14 until you get to the last bead. Use glue to secure the last bead in place. Allow to dry.

Paracord Bracelet Materials:

GLUE GUN

• Paracord – Pack of 7 Colours – 20257 • CleverPatch™ Glue Gun Starter Set – 12505 • Other materials required: Scissors and a ruler.

Loop

1. Choose a colour of paracord and cut a 3m length. Fold the length in half. Place the looped end at the start of your ruler and measure 20cm.

2. Bring each end down towards the looped end. Your cord should look like the letter ‘M’ and the middle two cords should measure 20cm.

3. Bring the right cord length over the two middle cords and under the left cord, leaving a loop.

Loop 4. Bring the left cord under the two middle cords and up through the loop on the right.

5. Pull the left and right cord ends to complete the first knot. Ensure the two loops at the top are slightly loose.

6. Bring the left cord over the two centre cords and under the right cord to create a loop.

7. Bring the right cord under the two centre cords and up through the loop on the left.

8. Pull tight to complete the second knot. Ensure the two loops at the top are still loose. You will need these to finish your bracelet.

9. Repeat steps 3 to 8 until you reach the bottom of the paracord, leaving a 1cm loop.

Create multiple bracelets so you can mix & match!

10. Thread the two cords through each side (front and back) of the bottom loop. Make a knot inside the loop and pull tight to secure.

11. Bring the two ends of the bracelet together. Thread one cord end through the opposite loop at the top of the bracelet.

12. Thread the other cord length through the other loop so that the lengths cross over.

13. Bring the cord lengths together and tie a knot to finish the bracelet. Make sure the bracelet fits on your wrist before trimming the excess cord.

14. Seal the ends of your cord using a glue gun. Allow to dry.

15. Your Paracord Bracelet is now ready to wear or gift!

1. Decorate your papier mache book box using paint. Don’t forget to paint inside the box! Allow to dry.

2. Print out the templates on pages 10 and 11. Decorate the book cover shape using markers or create your own cover. Cut out the shape and glue to the front of your book box. Allow to dry.

1. Print out the templates on page 12. Decorate the superhero using markers. Cut out both of the template pieces.

2. Place the skyline template piece onto the back of a paper plate. Align the bottom edge of the template with the bottom edge of the plate. Trace around the template using a pencil.

3. Cut around the pencil line on your paper plate. Paint the cutout black and allow to dry.

4. Paint the front of a second paper plate light blue. Mix a small amount of black paint to the blue and blend the colours into the top quarter of the plate.

5. Mix a small amount of white with light blue paint and paint the bottom quarter of the plate. You may need to add more light blue to blend the colours. Allow to dry.

6. In the darker areas on your plate, use white paint to add some stars to your sky. Allow to dry.

7. Print out a photo of your hero’s face. We recommend it to be about 2cm high. Glue the face to the superhero’s head. Allow to dry. Tape a wooden skewer to the back of the superhero.

8. Lay the cutout paper plate on top of the blue plate and align the bottom edges. Staple the two plates together near the sides, leaving a gap at the bottom.

9. Insert your superhero into your scene by pushing the end of the skewer through the gap in the two plates. Use the end of the skewer to move your hero around your scene and watch them fly!
