Best Dad Trophy Materials: • Cardboard – White – A4 – Pack of 100 – 16288 • CleverPatch™ Glue Dots – Permanent – Pack of 300 – 15173 • CleverPatch™ Triangular Maxi Coloured Markers – Pack of 10 – 16523 • CleverPatch™ Junior PVA Glue – 250ml – 10364 • CleverPatch™ Fine Glitter – Gold – 145g Shaker Tub – 15148 • Other Materials Required: pencil, scissors, scrap paper and templates (pg 8-9)

An award that Dad will treasure forever!

1. Print the templates on pages 8 & 9 onto white cardboard. This will provide a nice sturdy surface for decoration and construction.

2. Decorate the templates using coloured markers. Make the trophy nice and shiny by brushing a thin layer of PVA glue onto the surface and covering with gold glitter.

3. Hold the template up and use a scrap piece of paper to catch any excess glitter so you can tip it back into the tub. Allow the template to dry.

4. Cut out the templates following the solid black lines and then mountain fold along the broken lines. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. You may also wish to decorate the back side of the trophy at this point.

5. Construct the plinth for the trophy to sit on first (the rectangular piece). Fold the shape of a box and use glue dots to attach the tabs in place.

6. The trophy has 3 sections. Begin with the smaller of the curved pieces. Bring the sides together and fold the hexagon up. Use the tabs and glue dots to hold it all in place.

7. Use the same method to contruct the larger section. Join both shapes together by aligning the hexagons and hold in place using glue dots.

8. Create the trophy handles by curling the ends of the strips around a pencil (curl the opposite way one end) and use glue dots to attach them to the sides of the trophy.

9. Finish Dad’s trophy by attaching the tabs on the small end of the trophy to the plinth using glue dots. Fill the trophy with Dad’s favourite sweets to let him know he’s the Best Dad around!

Super Dad Puzzle Materials: • CleverPatch™ Fabric Markers Pack of 10 – 14929 • Wooden Jigdraws – Pack of 10 – 18346 • Cotton Drawstring Bags – Pack of 10 – 12639 • POSCA Paint Markers – Medium Tip Pack of 15 – 18999 • Other Materials Required: Pencil, template (pg 10) & scissors

Help Dad complete his very own puzzle!

1. Print the template on page 10 and use scissors to cut it out. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.

2. To transfer the template design onto the jigdraw, colour the back of the template in lead pencil.

3. Place the template on top of the assembled jigdraw, with the design facing upwards. Trace over the lines applying a decent amount of pressure as you go.

4. Remove the template and you should now see the faint lines of the design on the jigdraw surface.

5. Use POSCA markers to colour the design. You can layer the colours to create a real comic book feel. Allow to dry. You could also decorate the reverse side in your own design if you wanted!

6. Decorate a drawstring bag using fabric markers and then heat set your design using an iron. Adult supervision is recommended when using an iron.

7. Break up the jigdraw and pop the pieces into the drawstring bag, ready for Dad to assemble!

2. Use a stapler to secure each edge of the felt to the back of the corkboard. Use the stapler as you would a staple gun (in an open manner pushing down on a firm surface). Adult supervision is recommended when using a stapler.

3. Use twine to create a cross on the corkboard and attach the ends of twine to the back of the board using a stapler, as described previously.

4. Add a piece of twine above and below the twine in the centre, as shown in the image above. Secure at the back using a stapler, as described above.

5. Add a piece of twine above and below the twine in the centre, facing the opposite direction, as shown in the image above. Secure at the back using a stapler, as described above.

6. Use tacks to secure the pieces of twine that cross over into the felt. Adult supervision is recommended when using a hammer. Your Cork Bulletin Board is now ready for Dad to use!
