Personalise your Angel Ornament using our Metal Alphabet Stamper set!
1. Use the Wire Cutting Tool from the Pottery Tool Kit to cut a 100g piece of clay. Print the template provided on page 8 and cut out. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
2. Use the wooden cutting tool to cut out your angel, then smooth out the edges carefully with your fingers.
3. Use the metal needle tool to create a small dotted pattern in the surface of the clay at the bottom of the wings and dress like the image above. Create a hole in the top of the Angel’s head and above the heart.
4. Use the Metal Alphabet Stamper Set to add your name to the bottom of your Angel. Allow time for your Angel to dry.
5. Coat your Angel with CleverPatch™ Gloss Finish. Be very careful as your Angel Ornament will still be very fragile. Allow gloss to dry.
6. Add a jingle bell to the inside of the heart using craft line. Cut a piece of twine 12cm long and thread through the hole at the top of the Angel. Your Angel Ornament is now ready to hang!

Walking Wise Men Materials:
• Wind-Up Mechanisms – Pack of 10 – 18664 • Paper Magiclay – Candy Colours – 240g Pack – 18663 • CleverPatch™ Fine Glitter – Gold – 145g Shaker Tub – 15148 • Wiggle Eyes Black – 0.7cm – Pack of 100 – 16477 • CleverPatch™ Glue Dots – Permanent – Pack of 300 – 15173 • Other Materials Required: Scrap Paper
‘After coming into the house they saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell to the ground and worshiped Him.’ - Matthew 2:11
1. Start by moulding Paper Magiclay around the Wind-Up Mechanism to create the 1st Wise Man’s body. Make sure the arms are outstretched and the hands are facing up so they can hold a gift!
2. Take a small piece of scrap paper and roll into a ball, making it head size to suit the body you created. Mould the magiclay around the paper to save on clay. Add hair and a crown or hat, finishing with wiggle eyes and a face.
3. Place the head on top of the body. If the Magiclay is still tacky it should stick right on, however if it has dried you may need to use a glue dot to hold in place. This is your 1st Wise Man.
4. To create a gift with a touch of sparkle, knead some fine gold glitter into some yellow Magiclay. Continue adding glitter and kneading until you are happy.
5. Mould the Magiclay into a gift and place into the hands of the Wise Man, ready to present to baby Jesus. Again, if the clay is still tacky it should stick in place. Use a glue dot if the Magiclay has dried.
6. Follow the same steps from 1 to 5 to create 2 more Wise Men. Once your 3 Wise Men are complete, wind them up and watch as they walk their way towards Bethlehem!

Glowing Star of Bethlehem Materials:
• Technology Group Pack – 18450 • Cardboard Greeting Cards – White Pack of 20 – 10609 • Hobby Knife – 18766 • Other Materials Required: Template (page 9), Pencils or Markers, Sticky Tape, Scissors & Glue Stick
1. Print and decorate the template provided on page 9, then cut out and stick onto the front of a blank card. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
2. Use a hobby knife to carefully cut a small ‘x’ through the black spot in the centre of the star. This is where the light of the circuit will sit.
3. Place a battery on the inside right corner of the card, beneath the ‘Press Here’ spot and trace around it with a pencil. Mark in a ‘+’ for positive.
4. Open the card up and trace the battery again in the top right corner, marking it ‘–’ for negative. Rule a path from the ‘+’ to the ‘–’ making sure it passes through and breaks at the hole you created in step 2.
5. Starting from the centre of the ‘+’ circle, stick the conductive tape along the path you have drawn, folding the tape at the corners and cutting when you get to the gap.
6. Continue down along the second half of the path from the gap, finishing in the centre of the ‘–’ circle.
7. Take a light. One prong will be shorter than the other, this is the 7. Step Text ‘–’ side. Push the light through the hole in the card and bend the prongs to run along the tape. Make sure the ‘–’ & ‘+’ ends are in the correct position, then tape in place.
8. Tape a button battery (‘+’ side down) 8. Step onto Text the positive circle in the bottom right corner. Be sure not to cover the middle of the battery with tape as this will interfere with the circuit.
9. Close the card and press the bottom corner to complete the 9. Step Text circuit and see the star light up!

• Giant Popsticks – Natural Pack of 100 – 17931

Count down to the birth of Jesus!
1. Create the popstick structures first. Use glue dots to create a star and manger from regular popsticks, and the connecting piece from 2 giant popsticks.
2. Wrap soft yarn wool around your structures, tying the ends to hold in place once complete. Use 14m of wool for the star and 9m for the manger. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
3. Create a frame by attaching the star to the top and the manger to the bottom end of the large popsticks. Simply tuck the ends of the large popsticks into the wool and use glue dots to hold in place.
5. Cut a popstick in half. Wrap most of the stick in 2m of wool starting from the cut end and tie the wool to hold in place. Cut another piece of wool the length of the frame you created in step 3. Tie the piece of wool onto the wool wrapped baby Jesus. Use a permanent pen to draw on the face of baby Jesus. © CleverPatch 2019 - www.cleverpatch.com.au
4. Add a hanger to the star end by threading a piece of yarn through the wrapped pieces and tying a knot to create a loop.
6. Write the numbers 1 to 24 down the length of the centre piece of the frame, starting with 1 up the top at the star. Tie the free end of wool attached to baby Jesus, to the back of the star, making sure to tie him up high at day 1. As you count down the days to Christmas, loosen and re-tie the wool, lowering baby Jesus into the manger! 6
