Wooden Key Holders – Pack of 10 – 14144 CleverPatch™ Triangular Maxi Coloured Markers – Pack of 100 – 16525 Paper Fasteners – Pack of 100 – 11243 CleverPatch™ Junior Artist Paint – White – 2 Litres – 10423 Jute Twine – Cream – 70 Metres – 17905 Cardboard – White – A4 – Pack of 100 – 16288 CleverPatch™ Junior PVA Glue – 250ml – 10364 Other materials required: BLM (page 7-8), scissors, paint brush, pin
1. Assemble your key holder before decorating for easy construction. PVA glue is required for permanent assembly.
2. Paint the Wooden Key Holder white. Allow to dry.
3. Colour in the supplied Fire Danger Rating BLM’s on pages 7 and 8 and glue them onto cardboard.
4. Cut out your BLM’s. Use a pin to pierce the x’s on the BLM. This will allow the paper fastener to go through easier. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
5. Align the arrow over the x and push the paper fastener through the paper. Bend each arm of the paper fastener to secure it.
6. Apply glue to the back of the ratings. Make sure to avoid the area around the split pin.
7. Position the Fire Danger Rating on the front of the Key Holder.
8. Cut a length of twine to create a hanger. Thread the twine through the pre-cut holes and tie to secure.
9. Paste the Fire Survival Plan on the back of the Key Holder. Allow to dry. You can now adjust your arrow to show the current fire danger level!

1. Colour in your wooden person’s feet using a black CleverPatch™ Marker. Allow to dry.
2. Assemble your wooden person by attaching the feet to the body. Glue is required for permanent assembly.
3. Print out and colour in the BLM provided on page 9. Cut out your BLM using scissors. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
4. Align the clothes on your wooden person’s body.
5. Use sticky tape to attach the tabs of your BLM clothing to the back of your wooden person.
6. Attach the hat to your person’s head. Draw on a smile and add wiggle eyes using glue. Your 3D wooden fireman is now dressed and ready to fight fires!

1. Colour in each piece of your Wooden Car using red CleverPatch™ Triangular Maxi Coloured Markers.
2. Print out and colour in the BLM provided on page 10. We have also used CleverPatch™ Glitter Glue to add some sparkle. Allow to dry.
3. Glue your BLM to a piece of red cardboard. This will provide a sturdy surface when attaching your BLM to wood. Allow to dry. Cut out your BLM. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
4. Follow the instructions provided on how to assemble your Wooden Car on page 11.
5. Apply 3 Glue Dots across the top of your Wooden Car on both sides. Then apply 2 glue dots to the front and back of your car. These will help keep your BLM in place!
6. Attach each piece of your BLM to the glue dots on your Wooden Car. Your fire truck remote holder is now ready to use!

Egg Carton – 12333 CleverPatch™ Acrylic Paint Tube – Red – 75ml – 16877 CleverPatch™ Acrylic Paint Tube – White – 75ml – 16886 CleverPatch™ Acrylic Paint Tube – Black – 75ml – 16885 Wooden Dowels – Natural – Pack of 25 – 18144 Wooden Wheels – Pack of 20 – 15212 CleverPatch™ Junior PVA Glue – 250ml – 10364 Metal Bottle Tops – Pack of 250 – 16556 Other materials required: Scissors, paint brushes
1. Use scissors and cut your egg carton into three separate pieces like the image above. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
2. Measure 11cm inwards from the short edge and cut the lid of your carton. Cut the tab of your carton into three pieces. The centre piece will be a bull bar and the end pieces will go on top of your fire truck.
3. Paint each piece of your carton using CleverPatch™ Acrylic Paint. The small piece of the lid will be the cab of your fire truck so make sure you add windows!
4. Place one wheel onto one end of two pieces of dowel and paint black. Allow to dry. DO NOT place the other wheels on just yet!
5. Cut two small holes across from each other in the bottom half of your carton and gently insert the axle and wheel you painted black. Attach the unpainted wheel and paint black. Repeat for the back wheels. Allow to dry.
6. At one end of your carton, cut out three of the centre pieces. This is where you will place the back of your fire truck.
7. Use CleverPatch™ Junior PVA glue to attach the front and back of your fire truck to the bottom of the carton. Allow to dry.
8. Glue on the bull bar to the front of your fire truck and the other two pieces to the top of your truck. Allow to dry.
9. Add the finishing touches by using bottle tops for lights! Your fire truck is now ready to save the day!

Paste your Bush Fire Survival Plan on the back of your Key Holder
In a bush fire, it’s important that you stay up to date on conditions in your area.
STEP 4 KEEP ALL THE BUSH FIRE INFORMATION NUMBERS, WEBSITES AND THE SMARTPHONE APP
If there is a fire in your area you will find its alert level on your state or territories relevant CFA, RFS, CFS, TFS, PFES or DFES website. You need to keep track of the alert level so you know what you should do.

Fire truck Remote Holder Use these instructions to complete the activity on page 5. How to assemble your 3D Wooden Car Remote Control Holder
1 Join the 2 car shaped pieces to the base piece using the pre-cut slots
2 Slide the front bumper bar onto the front of your car
3 Finally slide the back panel onto the back the back of you car.
4 For permanent assembly glue all of your joins together and allow to dry. Have fun decorating your 3D Wooden Car Remote Control Holder!
