These Classic pajamas are made of 100% Swiss- Voile s a t e e n cotton. The fabric was woven, dyed and finished in Switzerland. It has a very light, plain weave with satin stripes. A twin wrap beam makes it possible to weave in the lustrous satin stripes. Very few weaving mills are able to handle this technology. The cut is classic and comfortable. T h e top piece has 2 f r o n t pockets. Pants have a front opening with a single button closure. The buttons are g e n u i n e , Australian mother- of- pearl, a n d b e a u t i f u l l y iridescent. This Short robe is made out of double Jersey jacquard-woven fabric: 88% cotton and 12% polyester. This fabric is extremely soft. The small percentage of polyester lies between the 2 layers of cotton and gives the fabric more rigidity. The robe has a classic cut, a cozy feel, and two font pockets where the arms can rest. All inside seams are covered with a luxurious satin tape. Sizes S – 3XL available in 3 colors Dressing gown ( R o b e ) is packed in the large Zimmerli gift box Boxer shorts made out of a cotton-MicroModal mix (50/50) produced in Switzerland. The print on the fabric was developed exclusively for Zimmerli. Youthful pajama combination with a long sleeve shirt made out of 100% MircoModal (see page 20) The pants are made out of s o f t a n d c o z y 100% cotton flannel fabric. The top was designed without pockets for a slim fit. A small fabric application in the back of the top coordinates with the color(s) of the pants. Pants have 2 side pockets and a buttoned front vent. Interior pocket bags are made with MicroModal to give them a softer touch on the skin (thigh). The top piece is designed from the same fabric as the 718 Winter Denim c o l l e c t i o n (see page 16). A younger, more fitted cut. This Home dress (zip-up hoodie) is made out of 95% pure viscose and 5% spandex. The spandex helps to prevent buckling around the elbows and the knees. The fabric is raised from the inside and feels very fleecy and soft on the skin. Classic and cozy cut. The top has a Raglan sleeve and ornamental piping. The collar and the sleeve edges are finished with a nice knitted band. The bands are from Florence and were specially knitted and custom-measured for Zimmerli. The top piece has a zipper and 2 side pockets a l o n g the side seams. The pants have 2 side pockets. All metal pieces are 100% nickel free. During the first wear, you may find piling on the inside. Materials Filo di Scozia 100% cotton Filoscozia 速 is a yarn produced exclusively from the finest, highest-quality extra-long staple cotton (ELS), which has fibers over 34/36mm in length, making it durable and naturally shiny. Filoscozia 速 mainly comes from Egypt and, to a lesser extent, from Sudan and Peru (in the Pima variety). Filoscozia速 is Mercerized. Mercerizing gives t h e f i b e r s l u m i n o u s shine, durability, higher moisture- absorption and shrink-resistance. Materials Discharge Print
discharge printing, also called Extract Printing, method of applying a design to dyed fabric by printing a color-destroying agent, such as chlorine or hydrosulfite, to bleach out a white or light pattern on the darker colored ground. In color-discharge printing, a dye impervious to the bleaching agent is combined with it, producing a colored design instead of white on the dyed ground. Discharge inks work well on fabric that is dyed with reactive dyes, although some dyes are more resistant than others, often those colors are in the kelly green, purple and royal blue families. When discharged, these resistant fabric dyes yield a more muted print that is usually a lighter tint of the base fabric color.

Materials Viscose
Viscose is a solution of cellulose xanthate made by treating a cellulose compound with sodium hydroxide and carbon disulfide. Byproducts include sodium thiocarbonate, sodium carbonate, and sodium sulfide. The viscose solution is used to spin the fiber viscose rayon, or rayon, a soft manmade fiber commonly used in dresses, linings, shirts, shorts, coats, jackets, and other outer wear.
Lyocell is a regenerated cellulose fiber made from dissolving pulp (bleached wood pulp). It was developed and first manufactured for market development as Tencel in the 1980s by Courtaulds Fibres in Coventry UK and at the Grimsby UK pilot plant codenamed S25. The process was first commercialized at Courtaulds rayon factories in Mobile Alabama (1990) and Grimsby UK (1998). But in 1998, Courtaulds was acquired by Akzo Nobel who combined the Tencel division with other fiber divisions under the Acordis banner prior to selling it off to private equity (CVC Partners). In 2004, CVC sold the Tencel division to Lenzing AG who combined it with their "Lenzing Lyocell" business but maintained the brand name Tencel. Lenzing AG is currently (2013) the only major producer of lyocell fibers.
The US Federal Trade Commission defines Lyocell as "a cellulose fabric that is obtained by an organic solvent spinning process". It classifies the fiber as a sub-category of rayon. The fiber is used to make textiles for clothing and other purposes

Materials Modal is a type of rayon - a semi-synthetic cellulose fiber made by spinning reconstituted cellulose (in this case, often the cellulose of beech trees). Modal is used alone or in combination with other fibers (often cotton or spandex) in household items such as pajamas, towels, bathrobes, underwear, and bed sheets.
Manufacturers claim a number of advantages for the fiber: M o d a l i s about 50% more hygroscopic (water-absorbent) per unit volume than cotton, takes dye like cotton, color-fast when washed in warm water, resistant to shrinkage and fading but prone to stretching and pilling. It is also claimed that mineral deposits from hard water do not stick to the fabric surface. It is smooth and soft, ( e v e n more so than mercerized cotton) though some perceive it to have a synthetic texture. Modal fabrics should be washed at lower temperatures and, like cotton, should often be ironed after washing.
