LMU Campus Safety Services LMU Campus Safety Services is responsible for security operations, investigations, emergency management, and preparedness. Campus Safety offers an array of services to support and promote the security and safety of our campus community, including after-hours safety escorts on campus, bike registration, and routine campus patrol. Each year, Campus Safety facilitates two campus-wide emergency preparedness drills in addition to ongoing training and education.
LMU Alert During a campus or area-wide incident or emergency, the university will send important information and instructions to the LMU community via LMU Alert, the university’s emergency notification system. LMU Alerts may include phone calls, text messages, and/or email to registered users.

All LMU students automatically receive alerts on their Lion email accounts and are required to register their personal information in LMU Alert. Parents of LMU students can also receive text alerts on their mobile device. To sign up, text “LMUlions” to 226-787.
