Fall Volleyball League The league is designed to introduce young ladies to the game of volleyball. It was created to provide a safe, fun environment to learn the basic premises of the game through practices, teaching the fundamental volleyball skills, sport ethics, and league competition. A team will consist of a minimum of 8 players and maximum of 12 players. Teams will practice an hour each week. Players will receive a team t-shirt. Registration can be completed online or in person. To register, the team coach must contact the Recreation Department at 817.503.1180 with their team information. At that time, the coach will be given a team code to give to their team to register. Signing up as an individual or a free agent does not guarantee your child a spot on a team. A coach will have to volunteer in order for a team of free agents to be formed. If and when a coach volunteers, a staff member will contact individuals with team information. If you would like to coach, please call 817.503.1180 for more details. Santa’s Creator Club In Santa’s Creator Club students will participate in various creative play activities designed to promote the creative, social, and expressive skills of children, all done around a fun Christmas theme. This minicamp is all about getting into the holiday spirit! Students will enjoy the story of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, play LEGO games, and create LEGO holiday themed builds. Students will even get to make ornaments to take home while they learn that Christmas is more than presents! Indulge your child’s gaming obsession in real life at this hands-on, creative camp. It’s all about games, games, and games as we use LEGO bricks to recreate some of your child’s favorites. Roblox lovers will enjoy recreating their favorite obbies and 3-D versions of character skins and designing and playing LEGO based Roblox style games. On Fortnite day kids will jump at the chance to build island scenes, maps, skins, and more. Minecraft fans will use LEGO bricks to craft their own world and travel to the nether, but watch out for creepers. Pokémon hunters will love catching, building, and battling with their favorite Pokémon characters. Throughout the week campers will also enjoy minigames and challenges related to these super popular video games. Rest assured that we will keep this video game themed camp series screen-free and violence-free. Emphasis will be on characters and scenery only from these popular video games. Co-ed Sand Volleyball League A sand volleyball league for every recreational skill level. This league is designed to cultivate friendly competition in a fun and safe environment. The league will have six weeks of regular games, played on a designated evening, followed by a single elimination tournament. Registration can be completed online, over the phone, or in person. Each month begins by exploring basic alignment of selected poses, breath work, and meditation. As class progresses, new poses are added creating a flow, synchronized with your breathing. Pavilion Rentals

Pavilions that are available for rent are City Park, Colleyville Nature Center, Kimzey Park, McPherson Park, and Sparger Park. Rentals include picnic tables. The Colleyville Nature Center is the only pavilion with a grill. Yoga Flow Basics Each month begins by exploring basic alignment of selected poses, breath work, and meditation. As class progresses, new poses are added creating a flow, synchronized with your breathing. Class begins with warm-up poses that allow you to stretch deeper and ends with cool-down poses to release muscles, allowing a deep relaxation. No experience necessary, class is designed to provide options for all levels. No class Nov. 11 and Nov. 18-30. Line Dancing Beginner class is for students with previous dance experience. Students should be capable of learning basic steps: grapevine, chasse, jazz box, etc. Routines up to 48 counts may include rhythms like Waltz or Cha Cha and tempos are slow to moderate. Improver students need previous dance experience and basic skills. Dances will introduce new step patterns: coaster step, rolling grapevines, swivets, etc. Routines up to 64 counts may include various tempos and rhythms and feature pauses, syncopation, timing variations, etc.

Medicare – Review Your Plan this Annual Enrollment Period Already in Medicare? Coverage under your plan may change each year and now is the time to review it for 2022. Are you aging into Medicare or is your initial enrollment approaching due to loss of employer coverage? This complimentary workshop covers part A, B, C, and D of this government health benefit that can be quite confusing. Learn more about the basics and intricacies of Medicare at this session hosted by Matt Curry, a licensed insurance agent.
