SENIOR CENTER

Senior Center Membership Memberships are available to those ages 50 and over. Memberships are required for anyone participating in any senior class, program, or activity, or for anyone using the fitness facility.

Resident membership: No annual fee Non-resident membership: $10 per year Memberships will be suspended Jan.-Dec. 2022.

Jazzercise Lo-Impact Use muscles, not momentum to get a total-body workout that brings all the dance fitness fun without the hop. A combination of cardio and strength training for a heart-healthy workout that keeps your body strong. Senior pass discount/package is available. Yoga Flow Each month begins by exploring basic alignment of selected poses, breath work, and meditation. As class progresses, new poses are added creating a flow, synchronized with your breathing. Class begins with warm-up poses that allow you to stretch deeper and ends with cool-down poses to release muscles, allowing a deep relaxation. No experience necessary, class is designed to provide options for all levels.

DANCE

Line Dancing Beginner class is for students with previous dance experience. Students should be capable of learning basic steps: grapevine, chasse, jazz box, etc. Routines up to 48 counts may include rhythms like Waltz or Cha Cha and tempos are slow to moderate. Improver students need previous dance experience and basic skills. Dances will introduce new step patterns: coaster step, rolling grapevines, swivets, etc. Routines up to 64 counts may include various tempos and rhythms and feature pauses, syncopation, timing variations, etc.

Beginner Day/Time: Wed., 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Improver Day/Time: Wed., 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Colleyville Choralaires

Come participate and learn with a group dedicated to sharing genealogical information, techniques, and research tools with those who are interested in learning about family history.

Join this enthusiastic group of singers and performers. No singing credentials required and all experience levels welcome. No memorization required.

Metroport Meals on Wheels Enjoy coffee, treats, and games in the morning. Bingo begins after lunch.
