ollowing her move to Canada, Duchess Meghan is finally breaking her silence about what really pushed her and Prince Harry to flee with their eight-month-old son Archie. ‘Meghan was fed up with the lies at the palace and how she was being treated – especially by [Duchess] Kate,’ a source close to Meghan tells. ‘Kate made it very clear she just didn’t like her.’

As for Kate? ‘It’s obvious they will never be friends,’ says the insider. ‘They tolerated each other until they couldn’t anymore.’ As Meghan was branded ‘Duchess Difficult’ by some, Kate was portrayed as a devoted wife and mother. ‘Meghan felt betrayed,’ says the source, ‘because she expected Kate to be an ally, but instead she froze her out.’
WHAT DOES MEGHAN KNOW?
Despite the ongoing drama between the Sussexes and Cambridges, and no matter how hurt Meghan feels, there’s one thing she refuses to divulge. ‘Meghan may know the truth about William’s cheating scandal,’ says the insider of reports the future king may have had an affair with Kate’s close friend Rose Hanbury, 35, when Kate was pregnant with Prince Louis. ‘Harry and Meghan were astonished the palace and the media glossed over the scandal. That was the beginning of the end for Harry.’ Now Meghan just wants to get on with their new life. ‘She’s excited about this new chapter,’ says the source. ‘She already feels so at peace in Canada.’
