Ever dream of having one of Texas’ premier golf courses in your backyard? Few courses in the Texas Hill Country carry the signature of one of golf’s true masters, Jack Nicklaus—a legend both in the game and golf course design. We are proud to say that at Cordillera, Mr. Nicklaus and his team have created a true classic among premier courses. Meandering through hills and valleys dotted with native plants and natural water features, the course is as breathtaking as it is challenging.
The Guadalupe River, enchanting generations of Texans with its majestic beauty, is now part of everyday life for those who call Cordillera Ranch home. At The River Club, you can enjoy a solo journey or take the family on a guided adventure. Imagine paddling on clear-flowing water among canyon cliffs and towering cypress trees. We can even provide all necessary equipment—and even include a cookout along the river! Best of all, we pack it, load it, clean it up, and then take you home.

This inviting retreat features both casual and formal dining experiences and the exceptional service you’d expect from a worldrenowned resort. The clubhouse is the hub of social activity. Whether you want to share a meal with a special someone, gather with a group of friends, or raise a glass to a famous Texas sunset—complete with 25-mile views—you’ll find The Social Club a warm and welcoming sanctuary.
The Tennis and Swim Club offers activities that will keep the entire family happy. Our multi-level pool on a hilltop terrace is ideal for basking in the sun and taking in miles of Hill Country views, while a multi-lane Junior Olympic lap pool offers a refreshing workout. And your littlest ranchers can splash into the fun in the Kiddie Pool. For tennis lovers, top-rated professionals provide expert instruction to players of all skill levels. Our junior tennis program, club leagues, and tournaments get everyone in the game.
Serious outdoor lovers and casual anglers alike will appreciate all that this club has to offer. Featuring multiple spring-fed creeks and lakes and miles of the pristine Guadalupe River, the Rod and Gun Club is an outdoor paradise. Prepare for your next hunting trip on our 10-station sporting clays course, wobble trap and 5-stand field, handgun range and archery range. Anglers can reel in the big ones on guided fishing outings–including fly fishing for those who want to wet a line. Whether using your own equipment or ours, unique outdoor adventures await.
For some, there is no better way to experience nature than from the back of a horse. For those adventurous souls, we offer The Equestrian Club. Enjoy both English and Western-style riding on 15 miles of weaving nature trails. The stables of the original ranch serve as the center of the complex, which also includes a lighted and covered arena. Boarding is available for those who own their own horse. Cordillera also has trusty steeds available for use by both children and adults.
The Spa and Athletic Club offers a world-class fitness facility where you can “feel the burn� with state-of-the-art equipment including cross trainers, cardio equipment, stepmill, elliptical machines, and free weights. Group instruction, nutrition seminars, supervised childcare, personal trainers, and fitness classes are also available to support your fitness goals. At The Spa, enjoy the soothing comfort of a therapeutic massage, or work out the stress of the day in our luxurious locker rooms.
KID’S ACTIVITIES
Cordillera Ranch is a dream come true for kids. Not only do we offer exciting seasonal camps where kids can learn to fish, play golf, ride horses, practice on our 3D archery range and kayak the Guadalupe, but we also have a year-round outlet for fun and learning at The Kid’s Club. There are books, games, art & crafts, movies, and more in this professional, supervised play zone. Parents can enjoy a little “Me Time” knowing their kids are making friends and making memories in a safe, engaging environment.
