Our anniversary isn’t just a celebration of our success. It’s a celebration of the trust-based relationships we’ve built with our partners, REALTORS®, dedicated staff, and the community we serve.

L

As you have heard before and will hear again, I cannot give enough credit to our preferred partners. While some choose to support individual REALTORS® for gain, our preferred partners choose to support all Coastal Bend REALTORS®. Our partners don’t get to choose which REALTORS® are featured or given an award. Let this idea resonate: They are supporting any REALTOR® that is featured and awarded without knowing who they are. It is that selflessness that had them nominated as a partner in the first place.

Thank you to the many REALTORS® I have met. You have taken the time to educate and provide perspective to the industry. It’s wonderful to come into the industry with a fresh mindset and to have an unbiased aerial perspective. There is more beauty to it than most tell … so I will! We have met so many amazing people that deserve to be celebrated. We share because others deserve to be inspired.

I want to personally recognize our RP team for their continuous effort in making the mission and vision of Real Producers a reality. Through their investment and dedication, they have helped me transform it into a purpose-driven organization that can stand the test of time. In a short year, we’ve seen the real estate industry grow and embrace the positive culture we promote. We are proud to be part of its story, and we welcome you to join us as this story continues. Together we are a collective force invested in building up our community. Thank you, Corpus Christi, for giving Real Producers a new place to call home. She was swept off her feet by Charles, and they married in 2004. They welcomed their son into their family, and before his first birthday, the family moved to San Diego, CA, for Charles’ new military post. It was hard to leave family and friends, but Crystal was proud of her husband’s service. Three years later, he was stationed in Mobile, AL, and that’s where their daughter was born. All the monumental events she experienced helped Crystal learn to go with the flow and enjoy special moments instead of taking them for granted.

PR

O

When they moved back to Corpus Christi in 2009, Crystal stepped back into the cosmetic industry and became the business manager for Bare Minerals. She enjoyed what she did in management, marketing, and advertising, but she felt that she was not fulfilling her life purpose. She asked God what she was supposed to do. Deep down, she knew there was a reason she was alive, back home in Corpus, and that she loved to help people and meet their needs.

EA

L

“In 2013, I knew I wanted to become a REALTOR®, and even had a dream about being an agent, so I asked myself ‘why?’ I realized that it was because that year Charles and I became first-time homeowners. It was my proudest accomplishment after becoming a wife and a mother. I wanted to share that experience with others, and help them find their homes, experience the ‘American dream,’ and help them feel fulfilled,” Crystal explained.

R

Crystal became a licensed REALTOR® in February 2020. At that time, the pandemic had just begun, and the market was hectic, so Crystal worked full-time in marketing and part-time in real estate. She truly cared for her clients and was genuine and honest, investing all of herself into each family she served. She started with a smaller brokerage and learned all that she could before making the tough decision to transition to Keller Williams Coastal Bend.

Crystal is honored to be able to mentor a couple of newer agents and share the same advice that was shared with her. She reminds them they must stay positive and be passionate, diligent, and consistent so they can see beyond their challenges. She teaches them that reputation is everything and that when they create a great reputation, success will be on the other side.

S

She hit some walls but shifted her attitude and worked hard, determined that real estate was not going to be an expensive hobby. In her first year in real estate, Crystal received the Double Gold Award for having a volume of $2.1 million. In 2021, Crystal’s volume was $6.2 million, and she was the Triple Gold Award recipient. She is grateful for her mentors and support systems which contributed to her success.

Crystal is passionate about her family and grateful for their gracious support and encouragement through changes in her life and career. They are all delighted to celebrate her father’s remission from cancer. That experience taught her a lot of things she will never forget.

In addition to family, Crystal is also passionate about her career, clients, and the beliefs she stands for. She has learned not to take things for granted, in life or at work. She has also learned that everything has a purpose and meaning. She is grateful for opportunities to give back to others with her time and other resources, though she does so without feeling that she needs to share her generosity publicly. “I would want my eulogy to say I was giving, loving, passionate, strong, ambitious, a great mother, and a great wife. I would want to be known as someone who gave to people and didn’t expect acknowledgment or anything in return. I try to be the best version of myself every day, and that is exactly what I want to be remembered for.”

14 • June 2022

She treasures time spent making memories with Charles, their three children, and two dogs. She is also grateful to be able to share time with her beloved parents and younger siblings. Crystal tries to stay organized, check things off her to-do list, and keep pressing forward, one step at a time. When working with her clients, Crystal’s goal is to listen to their needs and their wishes and then do what she can to get them into the home of their dreams. “I go with the flow, and I am who I am; I am genuine, and I’m always hoping to help clients take a step in the direction they want to head in. I make sure to meet people as they are and accept every walk of life,” noted Crystal. “I grew up in this city and have a heart for it. I know this community has so much to offer, and I am excited for those who want to move here. I can’t wait for them to call this home!”

The goal of Supreme Lending, and the Jason Pitarra team, is to partner with REALTORS® to serve our community by building customers for

C

marked by integrity and intentionality. They close on time, communicate effectively with REALTORS® and clients, and are diligent about following

Jason’s team is strategic and proactive, staying in touch weekly with

PR

Jason grew up in Houston and learned a lot about customer service and team management while working in the restaurant and bar industry during college. In 2003, he started working as a loan officer, then started serving as a producing manager in 2005. In 2008, Jason relocated his family to Corpus Christi in order to bring mortgage options to the Coastal Bend. As an independent lending professional, Jason can secure loans from over 100 different sources, including government and private funding options.

R

“One thing that sets my personal production team apart from the rest, and gives me the ability to step back and spend more time with my family, is that every loan officer on my team is licensed,” Jason explained. “I establish and nourish relationships with REALTORS®, builders, and new home sales representatives to develop and retain existing business. I also monitor overall customer interaction and interface with everyone on each individual loan, from application to closing. I counsel and pre-qualify potential home buyers, and my team of vetted and licensed loan partners helps me collect and analyze customer information. of the products and services that best meet each customer’s needs and financial circumstances.” As a regional manager for Supreme Lending, Jason supervises multiple branches while monitoring monthly profitability and ensuring that Supreme Lending’s mission and vision are being lived out. The Pitarra region encompasses a total of seven producing loan originators under the guidance and leadership of Jason. To grow personally and professionally, Jason has participated in coaching groups for the past five years. While leading teams and developing their talents over the past 19 years, Jason has remained very involved with customers and has personally closed over 1,500 families. During the 2021 pandemic, the Pitarra region was responsible for ensuring that 741 families achieved homeownership, and Jason’s team personally assisted 165 of those families. ensure that families in need can afford the fees that come with purchasing a house. They also shared that Jason and his family have purchased, remodeled, and flipped houses so that lower-income families could afford good, safe homes. Jason believes it’s hard to have a successful business when there is only one player wearing all the hats. He treats his team like a family and like a business and has intentionally created a system so that licensed team members follow his business model and perform up to his standards. He taught them systems and processes to

Jason’s amazing wife, Sarah, is a dentist who operates with the same high ethics and generous heart as Jason and has owned her own business for the past four years. Last year, Jason and Sarah were both honored as 40 Under 40 award recipients because of their impact on families and businesses in the Coastal Bend. PR

The Jason Pitarra team has a huge advantage with their ability to grant loans independently. REALTORS® know that reputation, with consistency on follow-through for pre-approvals, carries weight in this town. In his career, which spans almost two decades, only 14 pre-approvals were not able to be closed. Another thing to note is that over the last two years, the overall industry has been about 60% refinance business, but the Jason Pitarra team excelled with over 80% purchase! This is why Jason is ranked among the Top Ten Nueces County Loan Officers for purchase business.

Based on his yearly production, Jason has been recognized as a Top Loan Officer yearly since 2005. Jason has also been a Top Branch Circle of Excellence winner four years in a row and has won multiple awards from the Coastal Bend Home Builder’s Association. He was recognized as Corpus Christi Caller-Times Best of the Best multiple times and was selected as the 2020 CCAR Affiliate of the Year. He also earned the coveted Scotsman Guide’s Top Originator award and the prestigious Mortgage Executive Magazine’s Top 1% Originators for both 2020 and 2021.

O

One unique thing about his team is that despite the national trend during the past two years being primarily refinancing, Jason and his team have consistently communicated, followed up, and followed through, and have a shocking over-80% purchase history, plus they have closed each new purchase on time!

He is intentional about giving back by not only giving of his finances but also volunteering his time and leadership skills to CCAR and Youth Odyssey, where he has served as a board member for several years. His teammates report that he leads his regional branch in hands-on community volunteerism at least four times a year. Jason is one of the few lending professionals who invests in the Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee (TREPAC), and he has served as a major investor for the past three years. Jason Pitarra adheres to this adage: If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together. His goal for his teammates, REALTORS®, clients, and community members is to help people recognize that they can accomplish more. The Jason Pitarra team looks forward to teaming up with you as they build relationships in the Coastal Bend so you can go far together!

When James was 18, his beloved father experienced a sudden health crisis that ended Don’s life. In a moment, James lost his dad, his mentor and friend, his role model, his connecter, and his provider. The loss of his father was compounded by the loss of all his father’s assets, as medical bills depleted everything for which Don worked so diligently. James’ home was gone, and his hopes for the future had almost vanished as well until he was invited to move in with his brother. Chad and their father’s friends stepped in as mentors and role models as well, teaching him to strategize for the future and work hard to fulfill goals.

O

D

James Magill grew up witnessing his father’s love for the people of Corpus Christi and his efforts to revitalize the downtown area. As a residential and commercial REALTOR®, James is proud to continue his dad’s mission by guiding families and businesses as they explore urban opportunities and make Corpus Christi their home. For James, real estate helps people invest in themselves and the community and is a way to honor his father’s legacy.

Born in Houston, James moved to Corpus Christi when he was four years old. His siblings Chad and Carla were much older and had busy lives in Houston, so as the only child in the household, James spent time with his parents. His mother, Monica, taught him to care for others and do what is right. His father, Don, taught him to love the community, look for ways to help continually improve all aspects of it, and to change things instead of complaining about them. Don set the example, knowing neighbors and business owners by name, and sharing ideas for building up their businesses.

R

Generational passion transferred from Don prompted Chad to become involved in politics to help build the city. Generational passion was transferred to James while he and his dad made memories together, working on the building that is now known as the Bay Jewel Event Center, which was owned by Don’s best friend, Dr. Jeff Alan. Inspired by his father’s love for people and his investment in the downtown area, James enrolled as a business and marketing major at Texas A&M Corpus Christi so he could help build up the city, too.

Throughout the devastation, James held on to his favorite quote: Everything will be good in the end; if it’s not good, it’s not the end. He worked in various positions at Katz21 for seven years, gaining greater responsibility and training with each promotion. He learned about leadership, management, and customer service and stayed one step ahead by building strong friendships with clients and team members. One of his patrons, who is now a mentor, knew of James’ heart for the community, and, as she saw James’ growing skills and confidence, she encouraged him to consider a career in real estate.

“I didn’t know what I wanted to do for a living,” shared James, “but did know I cared about people and Corpus. I realized that becoming a REALTOR® would allow me to guide families and business owners in making major life decisions. I knew I could help them understand the options that were best suited to them. I was passionate about doing what was right for my clients and the city, at the right time, for the right reason.”

After earning his real estate license in 2016, James realized the benefits of having a broker who could coach him face to face rather than remotely. He joined the family-focused, faithbased brokerage Safe Harbor Real Estate LLC. He valued their emphasis on collaboration and synergy and was impressed with owner-broker Cheryl Bailey’s knowledge about contract law. He was also thankful for her willingness to mentor him as he continued to grow out of his comfort zone and give more to his clients and his Safe Harbor team. For his first few years, James focused on residential real estate. He enjoyed helping families find the home that was the best fit for their current and future goals. Because of his love for business owners and his desire to help revitalize the downtown, he kept himself informed about opportunities and progress in the business district. He recognized that he was developing a passion for helping people improve their lives, and Corpus Christi, through commercial real estate and investments.

“I am enjoying this new challenge,” shared James, “because commercial real estate allows me to connect with people who have a similar passion as my father and I for building up their overall quality of life while they are building the business community. I genuinely enjoy bringing clients around town to help them gain real working knowledge of potential locations, as well as the economics. There are many local and governmental incentives available, and I love sharing that information, especially with first-time investors or developers who didn’t know about them.”

Last year James was just as excited about helping a family purchase their first home as he was about selling over 100 homes in a single transaction. However, his proudest accomplishment in 2021 was being able to invest in a home for his mom. One of his proudest career accomplishments so far in 2022 has been his own purchase of a downtown investment property.

James and his fiancée Lacey still laugh about how they went to prom together a decade ago and then reconnected later in life. They are excited to share life and adventures. They are both major foodies, and they enjoy traveling to open their minds to other cultures, ideas, and possibilities.

“I am who I am because of people, and people are why I do what I do,” said James. “I would not be where I am today without supportive people and relationships. My father instilled in me the courage to take risks to benefit others before myself, and my brother taught me to be proactive and not reactive to situations by differentiating between needs and wants. Lacey encourages me to dream big for us and for others. I love this city and want to help it grow beyond ‘a place with potential’ into a city that realizes its potential, one person, one property, and one project at a time.”

U

James has enjoyed the adventure of sailing for the past seven years. The open water helps him clear his mind, and he enjoys participating in the friendly competition of Corpus Christi’s Wednesday night regattas (boat races). Last year he and two close friends sailed 2,240 nautical miles from St. Martin to Corpus Christi during hurricane season and COVID-19.

S

James has a heart for giving back to the community, intentionally using social media to post positive news about Corpus Christi. He has been part of Young Professionals of the Coastal Bend, the Rising Tide Society, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Coastal Bend. He has helped with the Corpus Christi Wine Festival for several years and loves being involved with charities of many kinds. He is grateful for his mentors and tries to keep others before himself by mentoring others and having an apprentice.

Amanda set aside her dreams. However, the fairytale soon ended, and she received constant criticism and belittling; eventually, she endured verbal, emotional, and spiritual abuse on a daily basis. When she started experiencing physical abuse, she tried to escape without endangering herself and her sons but was unsuccessful several times. She loved being a mom, but it soon became a life of survival.

Many know Amanda Carmichael as an entrepreneur who works hard to bring change to the community. She sees value in other people when they can’t see it in themselves and loves to give everyone an opportunity to live out their purpose. They would be surprised to learn that less than ten years ago, this was all bottled up inside of her with no hope of shining on others. Yet, as Alfa Holden wrote, “You can’t touch a woman who can wear pain like the grandest of diamonds around her neck.”

When Amanda was growing up in a small town in the Coastal Bend, she was full of hopes and dreams but never shared them with others because she was afraid they might laugh at her. Although her family couldn’t afford many name-brand things, she daydreamed about being the publisher of a fashion magazine and spent hours sketching designs. As she got older, she upgraded her dreams, imagining how exciting it would be to help create special effects for movies. When she was in high school, she had the opportunity to shadow people in the field of graphic design and impressed professional designers with a spontaneous and creative ad campaign idea. Although she was one of the first in her family to go to college, when she met a man who promised her happily ever after,

“When I finally broke free from the bondage of abuse, I literally started over with nothing but the clothes I was wearing,” Amanda recalled. “I was both relieved and anxious. For ten years, I had been isolated and told that I was worthless, but I still dreamed about using my creativity to help others. I realized that the things I was most fearful of were being vulnerable with people and being rejected by a magazine, so that was what I needed to do to grow beyond myself, and I did!” Although she excelled in her newfound marketing and sales career, she still felt devoid of purpose. Amanda brought her dreams to life by starting her own marketing company. She had scheduled expos, and things were falling into place, but then Hurricane Harvey hit, and business came to a halt. During this difficult season, her father passed away. To compound the loss, her new blended family was experiencing brokenness, and it was coming from someone she thought was a trusted friend. Knowing that God had a purpose for her, Amanda started serving with disaster relief.

ER C U D O

Amanda used social media to inform people of the needs of families, to provide opportunities for those interested in rebuilding projects, and to restore hope. She spent hours praying with people and helping bring them dignity as they experienced the devastating process of demolishing their condemned homes. She knew what it was like to lose precious things and start over with nothing. She ministered to hurting people and led a team of people who helped others create new memories.

S

“I was so broken,” Amanda shared. “I wanted to bring positivity into my life, but the only thing I could control was how I served others going through a disaster while my life was going through a disaster. I learned that the storm that was sent to break you is actually the storm that was sent to make you.”

When a former high school classmate’s son was diagnosed with brain cancer soon after, Amanda immediately volunteered to help. She was asked to help sell barbeque plates, but she had a vision for something much bigger that could help many families of children diagnosed with cancer. That is how the nonprofit 501c3 Battlin’ BBQ was started in February 2018. Amanda is still the vice president and serves alongside Brian Yoder and many of their local high-school companions to ensure that the mission is being fulfilled. (battlinbbq.org)

“Sometimes, all we need is for someone else to believe in us for just a moment,” smiled Amanda, “and I want to be the one whose belief in others brings them hope. I know what it’s like to be caged within myself and then to find the freedom to live. There was a time in my life when I was told that my body literally could not handle what was happening to me, and how I was choosing to respond to it was physically killing me. I had to learn to stop giving others the power to continue hurting me. Now I strive to continually allow God to bless others through me.”

In November 2020, Amanda fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a magazine publisher and having an outlet to celebrate the success of others, collaborate instead of compete, and utilize hyper-focused marketing strategies. She began introducing the Coastal Bend to the new platform of Corpus Christi Real Producers, supporting and celebrating local people, businesses and business owners, and charities. Her prayer is not to

sell or promote on social media but to be a true and purposeful influencer, helping others understand and live out their worth, value, and true purpose. Each month her goal is to go bigger and better so that she can keep serving our community in bigger and better ways by connecting, elevating, and inspiring people face to face, through social media, and through the monthly printed and digital publication of Corpus Christi Real Producers.

U

“The way the hotel chain cared for me as they let me go gave me faith that there are still businesses that do the right thing. I knew I could not just sit around and wait for someone to rescue me. I allowed myself to dream big and be vulnerable, and I prayerfully applied for many jobs. I knew that my creativity and marketing were a great fit for Real Producers and their parent company N2 when I read their mission statement: To build a nationwide company that honors God, strengthens the family, and creates financial wealth for everyone involved. Real Producers was a vehicle to do what was already on my heart.”

SOMETIMES, ALL WE NEED IS FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO BELIEVE IN US FOR JUST A MOMENT, AND I WANT TO BE THE ONE WHOSE BELIEF IN OTHERS BRINGS THEM HOPE.

D

Amanda accepted a position in business development for a large hotel chain in South Texas. It was a wonderful fit for her, but when COVID-19 hit, she and thousands of others were put on furlough in the spring of 2020. While she found joy in the time she was able to spend with her boys, she was equally excited to return to work in the fall. However, as the furlough was set to expire, Amanda and 2,000 other employees were told that conditions had not improved and there was no work available. She and the others were given generous severance packages and let go.

To provide for his children, Bo and Amy, Steve took jobs in which he could utilize his engineering training. He worked in the oil field and on rigs so he could gain experience. Then he utilized that experiential wisdom in the oil industry to become a successful business growth partner (aka salesman) for Baker Hughes.

R

He explored new options and gained new knowledge as he worked with builders and experienced the construction industry. In the ‘90s, he was offered an opportunity to return to a position with Baker Hughes, but when he was laid off from the oilfield a few years later, Steve felt isolated and purposeless. Steve’s wife Kristine revived his weary soul, encouraging him to press on and invest in himself. After taking a two-year radiology technician course with the hopes of working in the same hospital

and commercial insurance as an independent agent, his friend recommended that Steve consider teaming up with a legacy carrier. He wanted to find the best products for his clients and the best opportunity for his family, so he did some research. Steve was delighted to find that Allstate provided quality products for customers at affordable prices, and he appreciated Allstate’s contract that offered full ownership. Allstate also offered him the option to live where he wanted, which was perfect for Steve and his family as they loved Corpus Christi and Spring Branch.

that Kris worked in, he realized he had no passion for healthcare. They experienced life in several states as they moved for Kris’ nursing job. They lived in Rhode Island, Florida, Maine, and Massachusetts.

After they relocated to Texas, Steve was introduced to the world of financial services and worked for the company that later became Ameriprise. He earned a license in life and health insurance and investments. He worked for USAA for six years, earning a designation as a Charter Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and the coveted designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He was very dedicated to his job and his clients, working till 8 p.m. every night, yet Steve felt unfulfilled.

Steve was born and raised in the Coastal Bend by parents who were both teachers. His dad also served as a football coach in Sinton. When he was old enough, Steve attended the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, for two years. Although he enjoyed his engineering courses, Steve decided he was not going to make a seven-year commitment and would find another way to serve his country. He earned a degree in business management from Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

After working in the financial services industry for 13 years, Steve needed a transition. His youngest daughter, Sydney, was 3 years old, and her inquisitive mind and desire to explore everything had stirred something inside of Steve. He realized he wanted and needed a career that would challenge him to learn and grow and that he needed something that would allow him to continue providing for his family when he was ready to retire. After hearing of Steve’s desire to provide financial services and health

Steve was all in and started Steve Chafin Allstate on May 1, 2021. When he gathered his new team to talk about their values, they agreed that there were four core values by which they lived their lives and wanted to carry into the workplace: integrity, professionalism, empathy, and optimism. Although they created production goals, their real goal right from day one was serving people according to the core values. “The opportunity to start my own Allstate agency combined everything that I liked from other jobs I’ve had, and I get to enjoy them all at the same time. team leader

Written By Dr. Kasia Suarez Photography By TresPiña Photography

Years before becoming a REALTOR®, future team leader Belinda Trevino Cantu worked at a medical office. She admired the diligence and relational skills of her coworker, AJ Garza, but never imagined that he would one day become her broker. AJ and Belinda worked together to deliver medical equipment, and during lunch and after hours, AJ faithfully focused on real estate. After some time, AJ decided to focus on real estate fulltime, and Belinda became a full-time mother.

Years later, Belinda met up with AJ again, and he recognized that she had skills that would make her a wonderful REALTOR®. When AJ opened up his own brokerage, Pride Realty Group, he invited Belinda to become part of the team. She earned her license in 2017 while working as a full-time data analyst at an oil and gas company. She started with Pride Realty in 2018. Following his example from years

Broker AJ explained, “Truth be told, Pride Realty Group was created out of a major necessity based on several experiences shared by previous LGBT clients. They shared their stories of unfair treatment or, at the very least, uncomfortable situations while seeking assistance with their real estate needs. Some were affected in such a negative manner that they postponed homeownership for several years. This impacted me deeply, and I knew something had to be done to help fill this gap in proper representation. Society has come a long way toward recognizing the LGBT community, but there is still a long way to go.”

Each member of Belinda’s team has their own unique qualities that add to their skills as REALTORS®. Val is a ball of energy who makes everyone’s day brighter by living out her mission to ‘Turn dreams into reality with Pride.’ Katrina is a wonderful showing agent and loves teaching others that homeownership is a long-term investment. Justin has a background in construction, takes pride in providing his clients with a one-stop-shop experience, and has a passion for real estate investment. Luka is diligent, focused, successful, educated, ambitious, and has a presence in the community.

U

Although they serve every client, AJ has created a brokerage that caters to the LGBTQ+ community. Their industry partners have been educated and screened, so they know how to work with the LGBTQ+ community, using the right pronouns and asking permission so that all of their clients feel safe. The Tri-City Property Team, which began in 2020, is driven, humble, focused on helping people, and enthusiastic about empathizing with families who have been saving money to finally buy a home. They proudly support the gay community that needs more representation.

AJ continued, “I wanted to create a safe space where agents and clients alike could feel not only safe but proud of who they were. I wanted our brokerage to be completely transparent that everyone is welcome and would be treated with honesty, fairness, compassion, and, most importantly, equality. It took a few years to come to fruition, but in 2016 we accomplished exactly that by opening Pride Realty Group. Since then, we have created a network community of like-minded professionals in every aspect of the business with the same beliefs and principles. I could not have accomplished this without the team we have in place and Belinda’s superior team leadership.”

D

before, she showed homes and made phone calls during lunch and after hours. It was a lot to juggle, but it helped her put her son through college.

I WANTED TO CREATE A SAFE SPACE WHERE AGENTS AND CLIENTS ALIKE COULD FEEL NOT ONLY SAFE BUT PROUD OF WHO THEY WERE.

“Pride Realty Group is not just another brokerage,” said Belinda. “We are pride. Pride in homeownership. Pride in who we are. Pride is educating our clients in the home buying process. One of my roles as a team lead is to ensure my agents get adequate training and support. Tri-City Property team serves Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and Austin. Most of our team is LGBTQ+ and/or allies, which makes us very relatable. We are honest, open, and transparent on social media. We want others to know that we understand them.”

Pride Realty Group has a combined 20 plus years of experience. They have received public recognition, showcasing the amazing work they do in the communities they serve. They helped 46 families in 2021 and have already helped 22 families in the first quarter of 2022.

Today, Belinda continues to support her team, her clients, and her community. When she isn’t reading or gardening, she is engaging in her community and helping others. She and the Pride Realty team finds joy in life by volunteering, giving back, doing things for others, and creating safe spaces to work and live.

PR

One of the biggest challenges for any REALTOR® is where the next lead or client will come from. Bigger brokerages typically have access to more systems that can provide leads for their agents. Belinda and the members of the Tri-City Property Team joined Pride Realty Group because they are not just a number in the system. AJ and Belinda trained the team in what they needed to do, empowering them to take responsibility for their own success and for their futures.

For Belinda, hiring a business coach was one of the best things she did for her career as it helped her have a successful mindset, get organized, and be held accountable for daily tasks. She learned new ways to reach out to industry partners and to stand out, which impacted the way she thought about her business. Belinda was awarded Texas Rookie of the Year her first year, and after selling 32 homes and closing $6 million in sales last year, the National Association of Hispanic Realty Professionals (NAHREP) awarded her one of the Top 100 Sales Agents in San Antonio for 2021.

O

Additionally, Belinda is the sponsorship director for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and is the Board Secretary for The Pride Center, San Antonio. She did a lot of non-profit work for the Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation along with other various charities in Corpus Christi. She received the volunteer of the year award from The Salvation Army and from the Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation.
