A Woman’s World

IT’S FANTASTIC TO BE A WOMAN! SOME FUNNY... TIPS FOR WIVES! THREE NEW WIVES... Three men were sitting together bragging about how they had given their new wives duties. The first man had married a woman from Leicester and had told her that she was going to do all the dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple days, but on the third day he came home to a clean house and dishes washed and put away. The second man had married a woman from Watford. He had given his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. The first day he didn't see any results, but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day, he saw his house was clean, the dishes were done and there was a huge dinner on the table. The third man had married a girl from Liverpool. He told her that her duties were to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said the first day he didn't see anything, the sec-

ond day he didn't see anything either, but luckily, by the third day, some of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye, enough to fix himself a bite to eat and load the dishwasher. “The average woman would rather have beauty than brains: because the average man can see better than he can think.”

SET UP FOR LIFE... Two women met for the first time since graduating from high school. One asked the other, "You were always so organised in school. Did you manage to live a well planned life?" "Yes," said her friend. "My first marriage was to a millionaire; my second marriage was to an actor; my third marriage was to a preacher; and now I'm married to an undertaker." Her friend asked, "What do those marriages have to do with a well planned life?" "One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go."

HARRY POTTER FANS NOT HAPPY... With JK Rowling's comments on Dumbledore and Grindelwald's relationship. It may have been 12 years since the last Harry Potter book was published, but author JK Rowling is still delivering nuggets of trivia from her franchise. But one of her most controversial announcements has been that Professor Albus Dumbledore was gay and in love with fellow wizard Gellert Grindelwald. Taking to Twitter, Potterheads everywhere have accused Rowling of trying to diversify the universe after publication. We wonder where the franchise is going as how can you invent events in the past that are not apprent in the future? FORREST GUMP IS GETTING A REMAKE... Forrest will run again.

But rather than another Hollywood interpretation, the new incarnation of the heartgrabbing story is actually being made in Bollywood, with Indian actor Aamir Khan set to play the main man himself. Production will begin in October 2019, and the film is expected to be released in 2020. The original Forrest Gump was released in 1994 and directed by Robert Zemeckis. It then became a true Oscars darling by claiming six trophies at the awards ceremony and earned more than $300 million worldwide.

RIVIERA SEASON 2... The release date has been announced as Thursday, May

23rd, Riviera will return to Sky Atlantic. Julia Stiles will return as head of the Clios family Georgina. In a new twist they will have new rival family in the form of the Elthams. The new cast members will be led by Lady Cassandra Eltham (Juliet Stevenson), son Nico (Jack Fox), daughter Daphne Eltham (Poppy Delevigne). Behind every great fortune is a great crime, and the second season of Riviera sees Georgina focused on trying to get away with murder as she fights to retain power within the Clios household and her position at the top of the elusive art world.

In the Jungle, the Mighty Jungle...

ME TARZAN, YOU JANE: ONE DAY JANE MET TARZAN IN THE JUNGLE. She was very attracted to him and during her questions about his life, she asked him how he managed for sex. "What's that?" he asked. She explained to him what sex was and he said, "Oh, Tarzan use hole in trunk of tree." Horrified, she said, "Tarzan you have it all wrong! I will show you how to do it properly." She took off her clothes, laid down on the ground, and spread her legs. "Here," she said, pointing, "You must put it in here." Tarzan removed his loincloth, stepped closer and then gave her an almighty kick in the crotch. Jane rolled around in agony. Eventually she managed to gasp, "What the hell did you do that for?" "Tarzan check for squirrels."

A Man, a Blonde & a Rabbit... A MAN IS DRIVING ALONG A HIGHWAY AND SEES A RABBIT JUMP OUT ACROSS THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD.... He swerves to avoid hitting it, but unfortunately the rabbit jumps right in front of the car. The driver, a sensitive man as well as an animal lover, pulls over and gets out to see what has become of the rabbit. Much to his dismay, the rabbit is dead. The driver feels so awful that he begins to cry. A beautiful blonde woman driving down the Highway sees a man crying on the side of the road and pulls over. She steps out of the car and asks the man what's wrong. “I feel terrible,” He explains," I accidentally hit this rabbit and killed it." The blonde says, "Don't worry." She runs to her car and pulls out a spray can. She walks over to the limp, dead rabbit, bends down, and sprays the contents onto the rabbit. The rabbit jumps up waves its paw at the two of them and hops off down the road. Ten feet away the rabbit stops, turns around and waves again, he hops down the road another 10 feet, turns and waves, hops another ten feet, turns and waves, and repeats this again and again and again, until he hops out of sight. The man is astonished. He runs over to the woman and demands, “What is in that can? What did you spray on that rabbit?" The woman turns the can around so the man can read the label...It says… "Hair Spray”... “Restores life to dead hair, and adds permanent wave."

INDIA “AN ASSAULT ON THE SENSES” “An assault on the senses.” The beautiful, magical India is exactly that. Delhi is our first tour stop and my head is spinning from cramming in everything on the “to do” list. It’s exhausting and exhilarating. The city is intense and so worth exploring. Our onward journey takes us to Delhi train station, bound for Agra. As with any train station in India, it's mayhem. Animals graze the tracks, people push and shove in every corner of the platform and personal space is non-existent. The Majestic Taj Mahal steals the show in Agra and we get up early the next morning, cameras at the ready. Whatever you expect to find, it will surpass, and photographs will never do it justice. After a relaxed morning exploring the palace, I take off to hire a rickshaw driver and ask him to show me around the non-tourist places, culminating in us eating breakfast in a local family’s garden with their children playing around me in the sun. It is a morning I will never, ever forget. Jaipur, otherwise known as the pink city and the largest in Rajasthan, is a stunning, colourful walled city with little winding streets and I head off in search of the main sights including City Palace & Jantar Mantar, in awe of the colourful explosion of spices and saris everywhere you look. It's exactly what I imagine the rest of Rajasthan to be like. On the train journey back to Delhi I spend my time reflecting on the many highlights and memories of the trip. India is a magical place that does indeed assault every sense. Go expecting chaos, embrace the culture so remote from your own. Go to explore, don't observe. You are going to make memories that will stay with you forever.

Breakfast Around the World.. FANCY A CHANGE FROM “CORNFLAKES” OR A “FRY UP” IN THE MORNING? Cook up one of these typical breakfast dishes from around the globe! Huitlacoche, from Mexico, is basically mouldy corn on the cob. The fungus-infected corn is a favourite for early morning roughage and apparently tastes like mushrooms! Families in Hong Kong love to wake up to a bowlful of porridge. Not quite as we know it, though. Congee is slow-cooked rice often served up with a freshly boiled whole crab… or just a quick claw if you’re not that hungry….

FAS K T A

In Pakistan, siri means “head” and paya means “feet”. Siripaya is the BR E slow-cooked head and feet of a goat, lamb or cow…. You choose! The Chinese love to go to work on an egg. Theirs aren’t fresh from the farm, or even the fridge, though. Century eggs are wrapped in clay, salt, ash, lime and rice then stored for weeks or even months. A green yolk and black “white” is the result, along with a rather pungent aroma. Ackee is a Jamaican fruit, full of nutrients. It looks like scrambled egg and is served with white fish. Sounds harmless enough? Well, it’s not. If prepared incorrectly, it is highly poisonous.

Breakfast Around the World.. CONTUINUED... Fancy a typical breakfast dishes from around the globe? The Netherlands: sprinkles & toast If you've ever felt guilty about having dessert for breakfast, you can rest easy knowing that you're in good company. The official term for the sprinkles that the Dutch decorate their morning toast with is hagelslag... In Peru they indulge in leche de tigre... It's basically a glass full of ceviche. It's made from fish juice, lime, onion, salt, pepper, and not a small amount of hot pepper. Fancy chocolate santafereno, caldo de costilla, and changua? Well in Colombia it is a staple for breakfast it's a hot broth made from potatoes, onions, cilantro, and beef ribs. BR E It’s also an AMAZING hangover cure! FAS K T A

In Ghana waakye cooking is the smell waking you up in the morning - It's simply rice, beans (usually red) or black-eyed peas, a few sorghum leaves, salt, and water. That's it!

Finally in the U.S.A: Scrapple is a firm favourite in the midAtlantic states, scrapple is made from the parts of a pig that, well, you’d have nothing else to do with. The meat is boiled, minced, combined with cornmeal, and seasoned. It’s molded into the shape of a loaf, then sliced up and fried in oil. Yummy!

How to SURVIVE a Shark Attack...

1) DON'T SWIM IN THE OCEAN. Ninety-nine percent of all shark attacks take place in exceptionally large bodies of water also known as oceans. The way to determine if you are currently in an ocean is to taste the water, which should be salty.

2) LISTEN OUT FOR THE MUSIC. In the event that you are foolish enough to swim in an ocean, listen carefully for the music, as demonstrated in the marvellous documentary film Jaws. All shark attacks are preceded by the "daah-da, daah-da" chords, which will gradually become more rapid as the shark gets closer. This is due to the Doppler Effect. 3) SWIM WITH FAT PEOPLE. Try to surround yourself with more appetizing companions. If you know them well, you might even try to switch their suntan lotion with A-1 Steak Sauce. This will definitely improve your odds. 4) DON'T GO INTO THE WATER WITHOUT A KNIFE. This is not to defend yourself but "DAAH to stab the person (a.k.a the decoy) DAAH -DA, -DA..." closest to you in the case of a shark attack. Once you are sure the "decoy" is bleeding profusely..... Swim for your freekin life.

5) DON'T PANIC. In the event that a shark actually bites you, try to remain calm. This really won't help you survive, but everyone else on the beach will appreciate you not shrieking madly, as this is quite unsettling.

CONTINUED FROM LAST MONTH... The idea for the Guinness Book of World Records came out of an argument Sir Hugh Beaver, managing director of the Guinness Brewery, had on a hunting trip in the early 1950s. He wasn't able to find the answer to the fastest game bird in any reference book. Later, that inspired his plan for Guinness to do a promotion around a book that would settle pub arguments. That first book, written by Norris and Ross McWhirter, was published August 27, 1955.

10) MOST PIERCINGS IN A LIFETIME After her first skin piercing in January 1997, Elaine Davidson was hooked. The Brazilian former restaurant owner has been pierced a total of 4,225 times. She is constantly adding and replacing jewelry, primarily on her face, but also likes adding tattoos and makeup.

11) LARGEST COLLECTION OF GARDEN GNOMES AND PIXIES Ann Atkin who lives in the UK has 2,042 gnomes and pixies, as of March 2011, all of which live in her 1.6-ha (4-acre) Gnome Reserve in West Putford, Devon, UK.

12) “GURNING" As my grandmother would say, "Be careful, or your face will freeze like that!" Anne Woods doesn't worry about that though, as the British woman has won the most world championships for gurning... 27 between 1977 and 2010.

His most recent record is 26 watermelons sliced on his stomach in one minute thus holding the Guinness world record for the most Guinness world records. He has been breaking records since 1979.

HOW TO BE HAPPY!

YES, IT’S POSSIBLE!!!

CONTINUED FROM LAST MONTH... HAPPINESS IS DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE. FOR YOU, MAYBE IT’S BEING AT PEACE WITH WHO YOU ARE. OR HAVING A SECURE NETWORK OF FRIENDS WHO ACCEPT YOU UNCONDITIONALLY. OR THE FREEDOM TO PURSUE YOUR DEEPEST DREAMS. REGARDLESS OF YOUR VERSION OF TRUE HAPPINESS, LIVING A HAPPIER, MORE SATISFIED LIFE IS WITHIN REACH. A FEW TWEAKS TO YOUR REGULAR HABITS CAN HELP YOU GET THERE. HABITS MATTER. IF YOU’VE EVER TRIED BREAKING A BAD HABIT, YOU KNOW ALL TOO WELL HOW ENGRAINED THEY ARE. WELL, GOOD HABITS ARE DEEPLY ENGRAINED, TOO. WHY NOT WORK ON MAKING POSITIVE HABITS PART OF YOUR ROUTINE? HERE’S A LOOK AT SOME DAILY, MONTHLY, AND YEARLY HABITS TO HELP KICKSTART YOUR QUEST. JUST REMEMBER THAT EVERYONE’S VERSION OF HAPPINESS IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT, AND SO IS THEIR PATH TO ACHIEVING IT.

7) BREATHE DEEPLY

5) BE GRATEFUL

Simply being grateful can give your mood a big boost, among other benefits. Start each day by acknowledging one thing you’re grateful for. You can do this while you’re brushing your teeth or just waiting for that snoozed alarm to go off. As you go about your day, try to keep an eye out for pleasant things in your life. They can be big things, such as knowing that someone loves you or getting a well-deserved promotion. But they can also be little things, such as a co-worker who offered you a cup of coffee or the neighbor who waved to you. Maybe even just the warmth of the sun on your skin. With a little practice, you may even become more aware of all the positive things around you.

6) GIVE A COMPLIMENT

Research shows that performing acts of kindness can help you feel more satisfied. Giving a sincere compliment is a quick, easy way to brighten someone’s day while giving your own happiness a boost. Catch the person’s eye and say it with a smile so they know you mean it. You might be surprised by how good it makes you feel.

46

You’re tense, your shoulders are tight, and you feel as though you just might “lose it.” We all know that feeling. Instinct may tell you to take a long, deep breath to calm yourself down. Turns out, that instinct is a good one. According to Harvard Health, deep breathing exercises can help reduce stress. The next time you feel stressed or at your wit’s end, work through these steps: •Close your eyes... Try to envision a happy memory or beautiful place. •Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose.

•Slowly breathe out through your mouth or nose. Repeat this process several times, until you start to feel yourself calm down. •If you’re having a hard time taking slow, deliberate breaths, try counting to 5 in your head with each inhale and exhale.

8) FACE STRESS HEAD-ON

Life is full of stressors, and it’s impossible to avoid all of them. There’s no need to. For those stressors you can’t avoid, remind yourself that everyone has stress — there’s no reason to think it’s all on you. And chances are, you’re stronger than you think you are. Instead of letting yourself get overwhelmed, try to tackle the stressor head-on. This might mean initiating an uncomfortable conversation or putting in some extra work, but the sooner you tackle it, the sooner the pit in your stomach will start to shrink.

DEPRESSION..

With many stories in the Media at the moment, depression is a hot topic but do you know what it feels like? Depression is more than simply feeling unhappy or fed up for a few days. Most people go through periods of feeling down, but when you're depressed you feel persistently sad for weeks or months, rather than just a few days. Some people think depression is trivial and not a genuine health condition. They're wrong – it is a real illness with real symptoms. Depression isn't a sign of weakness or something you can "snap out of" by "pulling yourself together". The good news is that with the right treatment and support, most people with depression can make a full recovery.

WHAT CAUSES DEPRESSION?

HOW TO TELL IF YOU HAVE DEPRESSION: Depression affects people in different ways and can cause a wide variety of symptoms. They range from lasting feelings of unhappiness and hopelessness, to losing interest in the things you used to enjoy and feeling very tearful. Many people with depression also have symptoms of anxiety. There can be physical symptoms too, such as feeling constantly tired, sleeping badly, having no appetite or sex drive, and various aches and pains. The symptoms of depression range from mild to severe. At its mildest, you may simply feel persistently low in spirit, while severe depression can make you feel suicidal, that life is no longer worth living. Most people experience feelings of stress, unhappiness or anxiety during difficult times. A low mood may improve after a short period of time, rather than being a sign of depression.

Sometimes there's a trigger for depression. Lifechanging events, such as bereavement, losing your job or even having a baby, can bring it on. People with a family history of depression are more likely to experience it themselves. But you can also become depressed for no obvious reason. Depression is fairly common, affecting about one in 10 people at some point during their life. It affects men and women, young and old. Studies have shown that about 4% of children aged 5 to 16 in the UK are anxious or depressed.

Antidepressants are also sometimes prescribed. For moderate to severe depression, a combination of talking therapy and antidepressants is often recommended. If you have severe depression, you may be referred to a specialist mental health team for intensive specialist talking treatments and prescribed medication.

LIVING WITH DEPRESSION:

Many people with depression benefit by making lifestyle changes, such as getting more exercise, cutting down on alcohol, giving up smoking and eating healthily. Reading a self-help book or joining a support group are also worthwhile. They can help you TREATING DEPRESSION: Treatment for depression can involve a combination gain a better understanding about what causes you of lifestyle changes, talking therapies and medica- to feel depressed. WHY IS CERVICAL SCREENING SO IMPORANT IN WOMEN´S HEALTH?

•A Cervical Smear test is an important part of maintaining health for all women who have ever been sexually active. Some women may find the smear test uncomfortable or embarrassing and so may put off having one. • This examination only takes a few minutes and could save your life. • Annual smear tests reduce your risk of Cervical Cancer by 92% • In the UK alone it is estimated to save 1000 lives each year

• 80-90% of abnormalities are detected through regular smear tests, and can be treated early to Prevent Cancer

• In 2018 it is estimated that 7 million women missed there smear test WHAT IS A SMEAR TEST? In a Private room with a female nurse we will ask you to lie on an examination couch with a blanket over you. You will be asked to lie in position with you feet together and knees apart and a disposable plastic speculum will be inserted into your vagina. This holds the walls of the vagina open so your cervix can be seen. We will then use a tiny brush or spatula to gently scrape off a sample of your cervical cells. These cells are then smeared onto a glass slide to be sent to the laboratory. The speculum is then removed, with minimal discomfort within those few minutes. WHEN IS IT BEST TO DO A SMEAR TEST?

The Department of Health recommends women between the ages of 25 and 64 years of age, have routine smears. In our opinion all women that are sexually active need to be screened regardless of age. It is best to schedule your smear for the middle of your menstrual cycle as it is easiest to get a good sample at this time. If you are menstruating it may be too difficult for us to get an adequate sample, or if you think you may be pregnant it is best for us to know, and we can test for this. HOW ARE THE RESULTS GIVEN AND WHAT DO THEY MEAN?

After 10 to 12 working days you will be recalled to the clinic to discuss your results. If there are abnormal cell changes, you will be referred for a follow up appointment. If the cells are clear, you will wait another year before re booking unless you have any concerns in the meantime. At Clinica Medicare all our cervical smear tests are performed by female nurses who are experienced in Women’s health and are priced at just €60.00.

Carrot Patch Cake

Bake a simple and stunning carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for an afternoon tea or mid-morning treat. It tastes even better a day or two later.

Ingredients:

•175ml vegetable oil, plus extra for the tin

Method

•75g natural yogurt •3 large eggs •1 tsp vanilla extract •200g self-raising flour •250g light muscovado sugar •2 tsp ground cinnamon

1) Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Oil and line a 900g loaf tin with baking parchment. Whisk the oil, yogurt, eggs and vanilla in a jug. Mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg with a good pinch of salt in a bowl. Squeeze any lumps of sugar through your fingers, shaking the bowl a few times to bring the lumps to the surface. 2) Add the wet ingredients to the dry, along with the carrots, raisins and half the pistachios. Mix well to combine, then scrape into the tin. Bake for 1 hr 10 mins or until a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean. If any wet mixture clings to the skewer,

•¼ fresh nutmeg, finely grated •200g carrots (about three), grated •100g sultanas or raisins •100g pistachios, finely chopped (or slivered if you can get them)

For the icing •100g slightly salted butter •200g icing sugar •100g full-fat cream cheese •100g fondant icing or marzipan orange food colouring

return to the oven for 5 mins, then check again. Leave to cool in the tin. 3) To make the icing, beat the butter and sugar together until smooth. Add half the cream cheese and beat again, then add the rest (adding it bit by bit prevents the icing from splitting). Remove the cake from the tin and spread the icing thickly on top. Scatter with some of the remaining pistachios. Dye the fondant or marzipan orange by kneading in a drop of food colouring. Roll into little carrot shapes, then use a skewer to make indentations and poke a few pistachios in to look like fronds. Top the cake with the carrots, then serve. Will keep in the fridge for up to five days (eat at room temperature).

CONCEPT CARS @ THE GMS

We all love a concept car – here are just a few that were displayed at the Geneva Motor Show last month. This is the Imagine by Kia. It features an all-electric powertrain, a futuristic cabin with 21 individual high-resolution displays, and luxurious touches such as the diamond cut seat shells and the use of cut glass in the design of the 22-inch alloy wheels. Aston Martin displayed two new concepts, the AM-RB03 intended to take on the McLaren P1 when it shortly morphs into a production vehicle and the Vanquish Vision which will challenge the McLaren 720S and the new Ferrari F8 Tributo when it arrives in 2022. SEAT’s first electric car, The El-Born is very close to production. It is basically a badge-engineered version of the VW I.D. hatch. Audi presented what will be their fifth electric vehicle when it goes on sale in 2021. The Q4 e-tron concept and like three of the four Audi EVs we will have seen by then, it’s an SUV and should run for 280 miles on a single charge.

58

The Alfa Romeo Tonale closely previews a second Alfa Romeo SUV which due in showrooms in 2020 and will become in effect Alfa’s Audi Q3 rival. It’ll be the first Alfa Romeo to be offered with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Inspiration is taken from Alfa’s past and not just the larger Stelvio.

Capricorn, in April 2019 you’re feeling in a much more pleasant and talkative mood, you might even make some romantic declarations. If you’re single, love can bloom unexpectedly between you maybe a neighbour or someone at work. Avoid being overbearing because you risk ruining significant relationships both on a professional and a personal level. Make the most of the time until April 20th, 2019, in order to make your known. Speculative income is more favoured during the second half of April 2019, but don’t be greedy and don’t do things on a large scale. You could make the most of the support that Mercury and Mars they are offering you the energy you need to reorganize your professional life and consolidate the basis on which you’re building. In April 2019 you might be quick to give comebacks and quick to anger, so you should take longer times to be by yourself and do things that help you relax. Aquarius, expect your love life is spectacular in April 2019! You’re hot to trot everything is going your way. But be careful not to come across as full of yourself. If you’re single and looking for love, you shouldn’t look too far. Take a closer look around you when you’re on your usual routes around town or if you attend classes or hold classes. An unexpected love, a sudden attraction could end your dry spell during the second half of April 2019. Professionally, there are no major events in April 2019. It’s a good time for planning and making the necessary plans to make some radical changes in your career. When it comes to money, things are looking good particularly during the first two weeks of the month. An inner balance is tougher to reach in April 2019 and you might go through fluctuating and complicated moods. Luckily, you benefit from emotional support from your family. Pisces, love and relationships are your main focus in April 2019. There are many decisions that need to be made. During the first two weeks of April 2019 you tend to be more focused on yourself and your needs and desires, and your other half will be getting annoyed about it! They could be unhappy about you making baseless promises or because you get carried away with dreams that are too far from being attainable. If you are single then you might tend to jump into any relationship or to rush a relationship that is barely taking form. Careful though, your intuition plays tricks on you sometimes. If you’re not happy with what you’re doing now, your profession, it’s a great time for new opportunities. Expect an improvement of income, but it won’t happen without putting in effort. It’s up to you how you manage the extra money. Your energy is very good this month, particularly during the first half of the month. Aries, April 2019 is full of romance Cupid’s arrows are flying all over the place! Single Arians have an ace up their sleeve: you easily attract positive attention and will experience super-special dates. If you are in a couple there might be some soul-deep reconnecting going on and healing of old wounds. If you’re part of a harmonious couple, you might discuss having a baby. During the first half of the month, professional and money-related things are pretty quiet. On April 20th, the Sun crosses into Aries. The money-related energy of this term is very strong and you could improve your income, maybe making use of some personal talent. You feel as if reborn during April 2019, due to having a multitude of planets in your sign. On April 15th you benefit from the New Moon in Aries. Your stamina is high as a kite, and your mental fortitude is just as good. You should work out more and spend more time outdoors.

Taurus, expect your social life to be very active this month; this is great time for your love life, and especially for those who are on the hunt for a new relationship. You should thrive in collective projects this month at work and these will, offer many opportunities to evolve your career. Volunteer work can’t hurt either, particularly if you don’t have a job or if you want to make a change of profession. April 2019 is favourable for exploring the possibility for the future and refreshing your highest ideals. When it comes to money, things become clearer later in the month although you might be tempted to spend too much. One might say that during April 2019 you have a lot to think about within yourself, and it could lead to a need to overeat due to stress. On April 20th, 2019, the Sun begins its transit through Taurus so you’ll feel much more energized and unexpectedly confident about change and your future.

Gemini, Jupiter begins an apparent retrograde motion on April 10th, 2019. This will continue until August 12th, 2019, it will be a time of change for you on the home front. If you’re married, it’s time to add things up; find ways to grow together with your other half and make your relationship blossom. At the moment most single Geminians are more cautious about beginning new relationships. But you are spurred on after April 19th, 2019, when there’s a Full Moon that activates a sudden attraction. For some of you this unexpected attraction could end an older relationship. On the work front you’re full of energy and hungry for independence. You could stand out among your peers as part of a group project. If you’re waiting on funds, don’t expect to make spectacular progress this month. The transit of Mars in Gemini this month gives you a lot of physical and mental energy, use it well!

Cancer, on the one hand, you’re spending the month dreaming of romance and on the other, you’re dealing with older partnership-related complications that will demand your attention now. In April 2019, if you are married you are feeling that it’s you who put in all the effort into keeping the boat afloat. It’s important to know when to focus on yourself and not allow your other half’s authority to overwhelm you. The New Moon of April 5th, gives you the energy you need in order to begin a new career phase or to choose a new direction in life. But things don’t always move along as quickly as you might want them to. Even if things move slower or on a smaller scale professionally, don’t abandon your cause and stay focused on your future and long-term projects! With Jupiter in a retrograde motion in your sign this month it’s a great time for reorganizing your health and fitness as priorities.

Leo, April 2019 begins on a romantic note. Married Leos are favoured, or those who are involved in older and steady relationships. During the last week of April 2019, you’ll feel close to you partner and together you’ll come up with new long-term plans. If you’re just starting a relationship, the person can easily mislead you and they may might use you, if you’re not careful. Things lighten up a bit when it comes to money now that Mercury is in direct motion. Be careful not to get dragged into dangerous moneyrelated schemes, particularly during the first half of April 2019. Professionally, you begin a lucky term as of April 20th, 2019, you become very visible; you can get a promotion and have your merits recognized. Your health demands more attention this month, particularly if some older affliction has a flare-up. It’s a great time to start that new fitness plan or shed a few pounds you are feeling energized by the stars.

Virgo, Mercury, Neptune and Venus are in your sign until the 20th April these plants bring you balance and inner peace in all your relationships. Last month’s communication issues vanish, leaving a constructive path and ease for you making plans for the future. If you are single you have a great chance at meeting someone interesting during the first half of the month. Unofficial relationships might go into a long-term revision process. Ambitions and your desire to achieve things in life will all supported by the presence of Mars in your sign this month; but you have to put in the work in order to make your dreams come true. The Full Moon of April 19th, activates money-related luck in your sign but it also gives you predisposition toward overspending. After April 20th you might find it easier to unwind and regain your balance through traveling or reconnecting with your spiritual side. Libra, the New Moon of April 5th, 2019, and changes everything you’ll relationships will improve overnight. It would be ideal to lean on each other both when it comes to common goals and personal ones. Some of you even decide to get married or take on more responsibilities as a couple. On April 17th, 2019, Mercury and Mars enter your sign. So if you are single you might meet your future partner in some other country or maybe during a trip abroad. If you’re interested in a job abroad, you could find something interesting this month or you could resume your studies in order to improve your chances of getting a better-paying position. If you own your own business, the New Moon of April 5th, 2019, opens up the possibility to start a partnership. If last month health issues seemed complicated, now things seem clearer and you’re more relaxed because your health fears have eased somewhat.

Scorpio, the first two weeks of April 2019 are marked by romance and the thirst for adventure. Your other half manages to regain your attention and trust and older couples could go through a term of falling for each other all over again! If you’re single but secretly very much so in love with someone, make the most of the time until April 20th, 2019, as declaring your affection could get you what you’ve wanted for a while. When it comes to money, things might get more complicated this month. Reorganize priorities when it comes to expenses. But you could also seek alternative sources of income, particularly if you have loans or some other kind of debt. The New Moon of April 5th has you seeking change and supporting a healthier lifestyle: maybe your diet or way of life could do with a revamp.

Sagittarius, the Sun is in your sign until April 20th so whether you’re single or married, you’re in for a particularly lucky term for your love life – a term that will bring you joy and thirst for life. Your spirit of adventure returns, as does your mood for flirting. If you are in a relationship your other half may surprise you with a romantic gesture; they pay you more attention or could mention the possibility of having a baby. Jupiter begins its retrograde motion on April 10th, 2019. You might be more awkward or, on the contrary, too assertive – which could result in misunderstandings or discontentment in your professional life and personal life. Money may not be too great and you could end up regretting exaggerated expenses made in the past. Some Sagittarians could be stingy about their money for selfish and limiting reasons. Your energy levels might fluctuate this month feeling hyper to lazyness, from enthusiasm to procrastination.
