Ed’s Note..
Well it is fair to say that March and April 2020 have not panned out as expected… Looking at the current situation we are going to be in lockdown here on the Costa del Sol until the end of April… Maybe it’s a good time to take up a new crafting hobby! It is a first for our Magazine as we will be on-line only, but still we hope to brighten your day a little! The weather here this month seems to mirror the mood of World, on a plus note at least with all this rain you don’t feel like it’s a good time to be out and about. This month brings ‘April Fools Day’ so be careful of all those mischiefmakers who play hysterical gags on the 1st! Then it’s Easter, Good Friday on the 10th, and Easter day on the 12th with very quiet celebrations for Semana Santa. For the more patriotic English people it’s St George’s Day on the 23rd. Please keep safe and healthy and we wish you a Happy Easter from all of us at the Costa Link Magazine! Xxx

A Woman’s World
NEVER ARGUE WITH A WOMAN... One morning a husband returns after sev-
eral hours of fishing at a campsite and decides to take a nap. Although not familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out. She motors out a short distance, anchors, and starts to read her book. Along comes a Game Warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman and says, "Good morning, Ma'am, what are you doing?" "Reading a book," she replies, (thinking, "Isn't that obvious?") "You're in a Restricted Fishing Area," he informs her. "I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing, I'm reading." "Yes, but you have all the equipment, for all I know you could start at any moment, I'll have to take you back to the office and fine you I’m afraid." "For reading a book?" she replies. "You're in a Restricted Fishing Area," he informs her again. "If you do that, I'll have to charge you with sexual assault, “says the woman. "But I haven't even touched you," says the Game Warden. "That's true, but you have all the equipment, for all I know you could start at any moment." "Have a nice day ma'am," and he left.
MORAL: Never argue with a woman who reads. It's likely she can also think.

The Greatest Weirdest April Fool
If you were a fan of the late, great space genius Patrick Moore, did you know he was responsible for one of the greatest April fool pranks of all time….
During an interview on BBC Radio 2, on the morning of April 1, 1976, the British astronomer announced that an extraordinary astronomical event was about to occur. At exactly 9:47 am, the planet Pluto would pass directly behind Jupiter, in relation to the Earth. This rare alignment would mean that the combined gravitational force of the two planets would exert a stronger tidal pull; temporarily counteracting the Earth's own gravity and making people weigh less. Moore called this the JovianPlutonian Gravitational Effect. Moore told listeners that they could experience the phenomenon by jumping in the air at the precise moment the alignment occurred. If they did so, he promised, they would experience a strange floating sensation.
At 9:47, Moore declared, "Jump now!" A minute passed, and then the BBC switchboard lit up with dozens of people calling in to report that the experiment had worked! A Dutch woman from Utrecht said that she and her husband had floated around the room together. Another caller claimed she had been seated around a table with eleven friends and that all of them, including the table, had begun to ascend. One woman even reported she and her 11 friends had risen from their chairs and floated around the room. But not everyone was happy. One angry caller complained he had risen from the ground so rapidly that he hit his head on the ceiling, and he wanted compensation. Moore's announcement was, of course, an April Fool's Day joke. It became one of the most celebrated hoaxes of the late 20th century. However, it wasn't just a random joke. Moore intended it as a spoof of a pseudoscientific astronomical theory making people believe in the power of suggestion in action!

finding jesus A man is stumbling through the woods totally drunk when he comes upon a preacher baptizing people in the river. The drunk walks into the water and bumps into the preacher. The preacher turns around and is almost overcome by the smell of booze. He asks the drunk, 'Are you ready to find Jesus?' 'Yes I am’ replies the drunk, so the preacher grabs him and dunks him in the river. He pulls him up and asks the drunk, 'Brother have you found Jesus?' The drunk replies, 'No, I haven’t.' The preacher, shocked at the answer, dunks him into the water again, but for a bit longer this time. He pulls him out of the water and asks again, 'Have you found Jesus, my brother?' The drunk again answers, 'No, I have not found Jesus.' By this time the preacher is at his wits end so he dunks the drunk in the water again, but this time he holds him down for about 30 seconds. When the drunk begins kicking his arms and legs, the preacher pulls him up. The preacher asks the drunk again, ‘For the love of God, have you found Jesus?’ The drunk wipes his eyes and catches his breath and says to the preacher, ‘Are you sure this is where he fell in?’

of the most unusual phobias
13
1) Xanthophobia: A fear of the colour yellow...
Sufferers of xanthophobia may fear anything yellow, including the sun, daffodils and yellow paint. In its most aggressive form xanthophobic symptoms may include an overwhelming fear of even the phrase yellow.
2) Turophobia: A fear of cheese...
Sufferers of Turophobia usually associate cheese with a traumatic memory. From cheddar to mozzarella turophobes often have to run away if they so much as see a slice of cheese. Some may fear one type of cheese while others may fear cheese altogether.
3) Somniphobia: A fear of falling asleep...
Somniphobia comprises often irrational and excessive fear of sleep. Somniphobes may fear falling asleep because they associate going to bed with dying. It may also result from a feeling of lack of control or from suffering repeated nightmares. Somniphobics may also fear losing time while sleeping.
4) Coulrophobia: A fear of clowns...
Coulrophobia is a relatively common phobia, and usually present in children according to various surveys. Having grown up with films such as “IT’ & Chucky it’s no surprise many of us have a slight loathing of clowns. The 'scary clown' has often been used in popular culture, for example in the form of the Joker in Batman comics and film adaptations. Coulrophobia has some celebrity sufferers- namely Daniel Radcliffe and Johnny Depp. Depp said of his clown fear: "it’s impossible, thanks to their painted-on smiles, to distinguish if they are happy or if they are about to bite your face off."
5) Hylophobia:
A fear of trees... Hylo-
phobia involves an irrational fear of wood, forest, or trees. It is often caused by exposure to films and fairy tales which involve scary woods in childhood. Many sufferers don't grow out of the phobia and any walk in a scenic setting can trigger anxiety. Hylophobes suffer extreme anxiety when they simply think about a wood.
6) Omphalophobia: A fear of the navel..
Omphalophobia is the fear of bullybuttons. Sufferers are afraid to have their bellybuttons touched, or to touch another person's belly button. The fear is often linked with the belly button's association to the umbilical cord and a mother's womb. Omphalophobes can be repulsed just by seeing or thinking about a belly button.
April 2020 Costa Link Magazine.qxp_Editorial Layout 31/03/20 12:55 pm Page 29
7) Nomophobia:
A fear of being without mobile phone coverage... The name for the
phobia of being without mobile phone coverage was coined five years ago after researchers discovered the phenomenon. According to recent surveys, more than half of people in the UK suffer from it. The phobia is brought on by the fear of losing signal, running out of battery or even losing sight of a mobile phone.
8) Ombrophobia: A fear of rain... Ombrophobes have an abnormal
fear of rain which can cause severe anxiety attacks. It is thought to be triggered by a number of factors, including the fact that children are often told not to go out in the rain because it will make them ill. Rain is also often associated with depression.
9)
Papaphobia: A fear of the pope... The fear of the pope or the papacy is uncommon. It is closely related to Hierophobia (the fear of holy individuals or sacred things). It is also related to hagiophobia which is an exaggerated or irrational fear or dislike of saints and holy things. The fear is often triggered by a trauma associated with the pope.
10) Uranophobia: A fear of heaven... Sufferers of uranophobia fear the sky and the afterlife. It can be triggered in religious believers who fear the idea that they will be judged after life.
11)
Pogonophobia: A fear of beards... The term pogonophobia has been used since the 1850s to describe a strong fear of beards. Earlier this month presenter Jeremy Paxman accused the BBC of suffering from pogonophobia after he was criticised for presenting Newsnight with a beard.
12)
Trypophobia: A fear of holes... Sufferers of trypophobia fear objects with small holes. It is not yet considered an official phobia, although thousands of people are reported to suffer from it. According to new research trypophobics associate holes with danger. Examples of feared objects include honeycomb, sponges and any plant with small holes in it. Symptoms of Trypophobia range from nausea and itchy skin to full blown panic attacks.
13) Triskaidekaphobia: A fear of the number 13...
Many people are superstitious about the number 13 but few have a fully fledged phobia. It is closely associated with the fear of Friday 13. Sufferers take great care to avoid using, or doing anything related to the number.

Funny thoughts on life…
•I made eye contact with a stranger on the tube whilst in London last month. We both looked away out of the window, and our reflections made eye contact. •Being unable to pay for something with the exact change without saying “I think that’s right.” •Having briefly opened the window I have somehow manged to let in fifty midges, twenty flies, seven bees and a mosquito. •Running out of ways to say thanks when a succession of doors are held open for you, having already deployed “cheers”, “ta”, and “nice one”. •Waiting for permission to leave after paying for something with the exact change. •I want to buy a cheap pair of tracksuit bottoms to wear to the gym but every pair I find is expensive because chavs wear them as fashion items. •Prince George is only six years old and has already visited half the countries in the world I have always wanted to. •I get more text messages from my phone suppler, than any of my friends. •I tutted at someone who pushed into the queue in front of me, and they turned round and looked at me? •My 67-year-old father has only just heard of Benedict Cumberbatch and thinks his name is so hilarious that he’s constantly saying it aloud and chuckling to himself. •Dear life, when I said "can this day get any worse" it was a rhetorical question, not a challenge. - coolfunnyquotes.com •I can’t go anywhere without being told to KEEP CALM and do something.

A Man’s World
IT’S ALL A MATTER POSITIVITY... YOU GOTTA HAVE A POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE...
Thursday night he gradually came to…. Stiff as a board and in pain in the hospital's ICU, with tubes up his nose & down his throat, wires monitoring every function and a gorgeous nurse hovering over him. It was obvious he'd been in a serious accident. She gave him a deep and steady heartfelt look straight in the eyes, and he heard her slowly say, “You have been badly injured and I must warn you that you may not feel anything from the waist down.” He somehow managed to mumble in reply, “Can I feel just your boobs, then?” NOW THAT'S A POSITIVE ATTITUDE..!!
WOMAN V’s FROG...Ernest is 86 years old who loves to fish. He was sitting in his boat the other day when he heard a voice say, “Pick me up” He looked around and couldn’t see any one. He thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice say again, “Pick me up.” He looked in the water and there, floating on the top was a frog. Ernest said, “Are you talking to me?” The frog said, “Yes, I’m talking to you.” Pick me up. Then, kiss me and I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen. I’ll make sure that all your friends are envious and jealous because you will have me as your bride.” The man looked at the frog for a short time, reached over, picked it up carefully, and placed it in his front breast pocket. Then the frog said, “What, are you nuts? Didn’t you hear what I said? I said kiss me and I will be your beautiful bride.” He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said, “Nah, at my age I'd rather have a talking frog.”

MEDICAL MAYHEM
TIGHT WITH GOD... An 80-year-old man goes for a physical. All of his tests come back with normal results. The doctor says, “George, everything looks great. How are you doing mentally and emotionally? Are you at peace with God?” George replies, “God and I are tight. He knows I have poor eyesight, so he’s fixed it so when I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, poof! The light goes on. When I’m done, poof! The light goes off.” “Wow, that’s incredible,” the doctor, says. A little later in the day, the doctor calls George’s wife. “Ethel” he says, “George is doing fine! But I had to call you because I’m in awe of his relationship with God. Is it true that he gets up during the night and poof! The light goes on in the bathroom, and when he’s done, poof! The light goes off?” “Oh my God!” Ethel exclaims. “He’s peeing in the fridge again!” A WIND ISSUE... An old woman came into her doctor’s office and confessed to an embarrassing problem. “I fart all the time, Doctor Johnson, but they’re soundless, and they have no odor. In fact, since I’ve been here, I’ve farted no less than twenty times. What can I do?,” “Here’s a prescription, Mrs. Harris. Take these pills three times a day for seven days and come back and see me in a week.” Next week an upset Mrs. Harris marched into Dr. Johnson’s office. “Doctor, I don’t know what was in those pills, but the problem is worse! I’m farting just as much, but now they smell terrible! What do you have to say for yourself?” “Calm down, Mrs. Harris,” said the doctor soothingly. “Now that we’ve fixed your sinuses, we’ll work on your hearing!!!”

CUCUMBERS
Reasons to love cucumbers: They're hydrating and rich in vitamins. Applying slices directly to the skin allows phytochemicals in cucumbers to tighten collagen for a firm complexion. This can result in an almost-instant reduction of cellulite appearance.

HOW TO GET RID OF CELLUITE
LOOKED AT YOUR BOTTOM AND FOUND AAARRRRRGGGHHHH CELLUITE!
There's no miracle cure for GETTING RID OF IT but lifestyle changes may help... Here are some Weird Treatments for Cellulite That Actually Work... Goodbye, and good riddance! Ah, the C word. Cellulite is nothing to be ashamed of because let’s face it: Most of us have it. Seriously, it's believed to occur in roughly 90% of post-adolescent females. A number of variables factor into the development of the unappealing dimpling, but none of that matters when you just want it to go away. These four remedies for cellulite may seem weird, but they're actually pretty effective.
Consuming gelatin (which isn't packed with sugar) has lots of health and body benefits, but it's incredibly efficient in increasing collagen production. Gelatin powder can be found at any supermarket and health food shops just mix it into your favorite drink once daily to counteract collagen deficiency, COFFEE SCRUB which is partly to blame for cellulite Caffeine dilates blood vessels, in the first place. Serums and topical creams can help reduce the look of cellulite, but you definitely shouldn’t expect any miracles. At best, they can help strengthen your skin, making your cellulite a little less noticeable. Biotherm Celluli Eraser, which is formulated with caffeine and coralline extract, a marine algae extract that helps minimize fat cells.
HYDRATE
I know, I know drinking water sounds like such a basic solution, but if you want to minimize the appearance of cellulite, you need plenty of H2O. Dehydration can cause the skin to become thinner and weaken, and when the skin is thin, it tends to show cellulite more.
EAT A HEALTHY DIET
Your diet isn’t solely responsible for whether or not you have cellulite but watching your sodium intake and eating plenty of fiber and whole grain foods they help remove waste and toxins from your intestinal tract.

CORONAVIRUS (COVID 19) SYMPTOMS...
WHAT IS COVID-19?
It is caused by a member of the coronavirus family that has never been encountered before. Like other coronaviruses, it has transferred to humans from animals. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has declared it a pandemic.
HOW TO TAKE PROTECTIVE MEASURES
REGULARLY AND THOROUGHLY CLEAN YOUR HANDS WITH AN ALCOHOL-BASED HAND RUB OR WASH THEM WITH SOAP AND WATER. Why? Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands.
WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS?
According to the WHO, the most common symptoms of Covid-19 are fever, tiredness and a dry cough. Some patients may also have a runny nose, sore throat, nasal congestion and aches and pains or diarrhoea. About 80% of people who get Covid19 experience a mild case about as serious as a regular cold and recover without needing any special treatment.
About one in six people, the WHO says, become seriously ill. The elderly and people with underlying medical problems like high blood pressure, heart problems or diabetes, or chronic respiratory conditions, are at a greater risk of serious illness from Covid-19. THE SPECIFIC SYMPTOMS TO LOOK FOR AS EXPERIENCING EITHER: •A HIGH TEMPERATURE
YOU FEEL HOT TO TOUCH ON YOUR CHEST OR BACK
•A NEW CONTINUOUS COUGH
THIS MEANS YOU’VE STARTED COUGHING REPEATEDLY
•TIREDNESS
UNUSUAL FATIGUE
•LOSS OF SMELL OR TASTE •DIFFICULTY BREATHING IN SEVERE CASES
AS THIS IS VIRAL PNEUMONIA...
Antibiotics are of no use. The antiviral drugs we have against flu will not work, and there is currently no vaccine. Recovery depends on the strength of the immune system.
50
MAINTAIN AT LEAST A 2 METRE DISTANCE BETWEEN YOURSELF AND ANYONE WHO IS COUGHING OR SNEEZING.
Why? When someone coughs or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease.
AVOID TOUCHING EYES, NOSE AND MOUTH.
Why? Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick.
MAKE SURE YOU, AND THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU, FOLLOW GOOD RESPIRATORY HYGIENE. THIS MEANS COVERING YOUR MOUTH AND NOSE WITH YOUR BENT ELBOW OR TISSUE WHEN YOU COUGH OR SNEEZE. THEN DISPOSE OF THE USED TISSUE IMMEDIATELY.
Why? Droplets spread virus. By following good respiratory hygiene you protect the people around you from viruses such as cold, flu and COVID-19.
STAY HOME IF YOU FEEL UNWELL. IF YOU HAVE A FEVER, COUGH AND DIFFICULTY BREATHING, SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION AND CALL IN ADVANCE. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS OF YOUR LOCAL HEALTH AUTHORITY. Why? This will also protect you and help prevent spread of viruses and other infections.
KEEP UP TO DATE ON THE LATEST COVID-19 HOTSPOTS (CITIES OR LOCAL AREAS WHERE COVID-19 IS SPREADING WIDELY). IF POSSIBLE, AVOID TRAVELING TO PLACES ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE AN OLDER PERSON OR HAVE DIABETES, HEART OR LUNG DISEASE. Why? You have a higher chance of catching COVID-19 in one of these areas.

IMPORTANT CONCEPT CARS
There’s not much happening in the Car world at the moment so we look to the past and study some of the most important concept cars. The Worlds first concept car, the 1933 Venus Bilo was so radical that Volvo refused to be linked to it., but it wasn’t until years later that Volvo admitted it had bankrolled the project. The Buick Y-Job Also claims to be the Worlds first concept car (six years after the Venus) in 1939. It featured hidden headlights, electric windows and a powered roof, concealed under a hard tonneau. The 1969 Mercedes-Benz C-111. We call it a concept car – Mercedes call it a research vehicle. Unveiled in 1969, the gull-winged wonder sported a 280bhp three-rotor Wankel engine. In 1970 a refreshed it was refreshed with a fourrotor powerplant then in 1978 an allnew car emerged, with diesel power.
Ford created five Probe concepts between 1979 and 1985 that tested aerodynamics to the limit. the third iteration led directly to the introduction of the Sierra while the 1985 Probe V (pictured) has a drag co-efficient of just 0.137 – the same as an F-16 fighter jet. In 1981 BMW showed us The E1 with electric propulsion only, a redesign two years later led to three powertrains being engineered: petrol, electric and petrol-electric hybrid. 60

Capricorn, the presence of Mars in your sign this month makes you hot, hot, hot during April 2020: you’re full of romantic drive, and you’re ready to shed all inhibitions and take a plunge when it comes to love. But there’s one small problem: Mercury is retrograde so things might evolve in unexpected ways, they could get complicated here and there. During this term you could meet with someone you loved or re-evaluate your emotional needs and relationship status. On the work front Venus is in a retrograde motion during the first part of April 2020 and resumes its direct motion on the 15th. Meaning that the month becomes a turning point, during which things you’ve accumulated lately could lead to major professional conclusions or decisions. Financially, during April 2020 there’s no significant change. Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, is waiting for the right time to send opportunities your way. Aquarius, communication, communication, communication that’s what this months all about… with positive results if it’s open, honest, and well thought out. If you’re involved in a new or very passionate affair, take it easy: Mercury is in retrograde. Things may not always go as planned, and you should consider the situation carefully if so, maybe even take a step back in order to see things more clearly. During April, you think a lot about money and business. Also the Mercury retrograde with Mars focus your attention on home and properties, in which you might be very interested. Maybe it’s some investment you were contemplating some time ago? It seems there aren’t any particular issues related your health this month, you’re in good shape, and your morale is OK. Why not learn something new; meet new people stretch those boundaries! Pisces, during April 2020 you’re on the verge of making some important decisions in regard to your love life. Venus, ends its retrograde motion and resumes the direct one in your sign on April 15th, while is in retrograde between April 10th and May 3rd. So your relationships are under fire from two sources and will be examined carefully from multiple perspectives. The time has come to put two and two together, to draw conclusions and seek solutions. The importance of your career and money are forefront in your mind, now more than ever. It means that your goals are clear and pragmatic, and their motivation is as material as it can get. Regardless of the fact that it’s a term during which the need for money is greater, the bottom line is obvious: how to make your work as profitable as possible. Don’t rush when making important decisions! Think long and hard and seek the advice first! Aries, Jupiter will now be in your sign until the autumn, it will bring with it emotional needs and expectations. During April 2020, the Sun in your sign will bring love and romance. You’ll also have the ability to get what you want. Unfortunately, luck isn’t on your side, and Venus’ is in a difficult position leaving you with some frustrations or failures. But it’s only temporary. Pluto and Mars make you very determined during the first part of April 2020, and can result in a significant achievement. The Sun gives you visibility and helps you stand out in a crowd, if you’re after a promotion now is a great time to get one. This month sees you interested in finances and the stars are making sure your efforts are profitable. Think about financial initiatives with a lot of care and clarity! You’re in good shape this month, full of brightness & vitality, but you work yourself into a tizzy, take a step back, see the bigger picture.
Taurus, with Mars situated in your sign, during April 2020 you’ll be feeling a little hot under the collar… Passionate Mars will give you the ability to make the first move and to be full of gusto regards your love life. If you are single now is a great time to meet someone new. If you are in a relationship then a new spark will be added to get where you want to be in terms of your love life. Mercury is in retrograde starting on April 10th 2020, and Venus the planet of love – is also retrograde beginning with April 15th. Things might get complicated at some point, and good communication is essential. On the work front Mars and the Sun are thirsty for action this month and push you to assert yourself, get a better position or reach your goals. Money is still a priority for you when making professional decisions. Financial matters become more prominent during the last week of the month.
Gemini, you are under attack this month from several planets, but you are holding your ground. On a positive note Jupiter and Saturn makes relationships solid. However, there might be some minor issues may be an argument here, some frustrations there, but things work out in the end. It’s obvious that during April 2020 there’s a connection between your career and relationships. It could mean collaborations, love affairs or ties in general. In order to succeed you need to find allies, work as part of a team, keep in mind your clients’ needs, and use all the connections you’ve got. Promoting yourself or your business will be very efficient during April 2020, particularly if you’re promoting some special talent or something you’re passionate about. You might also feel like you’re carrying a heavy burden or that you lack the freedom to move or decide. Careful, don’t test your limits!

Cancer, by and large, during 2020 you have a particular appreciation for stability and responsibility in your relationships. It’s very important to you that your loved one is serious and hardworking, help you with things and contribute to building a safe and comfortable home. These are the things you take into consideration in order to measure your happiness. On the work front the Sun in your sign this April 2020 means it’s a very favorable time for climbing the hierarchical ladder and asserting yourself. Goals achieved this month bring you both recognition and money. April could bring you considerable success, but also puts you to serious work and has great potential for stress. In fact, managing stress is the first thing you should take care of. Try to focus on priorities and not spread yourself thin!
Leo, things are about to get a little bit crazy for a few months, relationships are steady and eventually everything will calm down and get back under control. Something isn’t to your liking, isn’t going according to plan and gets you concerned or frustrated. The Sun in your sign forms a harmonious aspect with Saturn so you shouldn’t worry too much. On the work front April 2020 is a pretty annoying month for you, you are used to directing things as you please. The first two weeks of the month you might be put to the test, experience delays or misunderstandings. It’s clear that you need to take a serious look at your goals and strategies, and change something. But the best decisions come to mind after April 20th. Financially you need to be very cautious and show moderation. During the month you have a lot of energy, get out and about enjoy the spring weather! Virgo, with Venus in a retrograde motion for the first two weeks of April 2020 seem to be intense, but complicated. The effects of this could include delays or the resurfacing of some older issues on the home front. The second part of the month is somewhat unclear and could generate the most unexpected situations. Throughout the month, you are tested. Money and business are potential targets where issues arise. On the work front all your focus is on interest in money, business and investments. All documents you sign should be treated with 100% of your attention, all calculations need to be checked and re-checked. During April 2020 you don’t have that much energy, so you should manage your efforts as judiciously as possible, plan your activities well, and not take on too much. Seek methods to coordinate your efforts with those of your teammates and partners as well as possible! Libra, April 2020 doesn’t start out that well. You are obsessed with your love life. It could be that you aren’t happy or that your partner is going through something. A third possibility is that there are concerns about joint financials and responsibilities. But things take a turn for the better during the last week of April 2020, when Mars reaches an advantageous position. On the work front you have a lot of responsibilities and also some catching up to do. You might not be too efficient during the first part of the month, because Venus is in retrograde. But you pull through. Money is one of the greater challenges of the term. There is potential for success, but the risk of error or loss is also present. Be very careful what you do with your money and make sure your financial documents and accounts are in perfect order!
Scorpio, Mars stays in your sign until April 20th 2020, painting the first two weeks in lively colours making for a fun time. Being a planet that’s full of energy, but also impulsive, Mars pushes you to take the initiative or do your best to conquer, but also introduces the tendency to push things too far, launch challenges or manifest yourself in an aggressive manner. Venus is in retrograde until April 15th, so it could generate complex or unexpected situations. Relationships return to something akin to normal during the second part of the month. The Sun is shinning it’s light on you at work this month, the first two weeks of April 2020 are very active and could earn you recognition and appreciation. Be careful when communicating, particularly when setting the rules that would govern collaborations or contracts! Why not try to take up a creative or artistic hobby that would be relaxing and balancing for you. Sagittarians, April 2020 isn’t a comfortable month for you. Mercury is in a retrograde in your sign bringing with it responsibilities on the home front, the stars are making certain demands on you and a loved one is trying hard to impose their own views on everything you do. So something doesn’t work and its something you can’t put your finger on. On the work front there’s a lot on your plate during April 2020 and it’s not easy to deal with it all. On the work front there’s a lot on your plate during April 2020 and it’s not easy to deal with it all. The month will be filled with intense activity you need to be decisive but all issues seem to be conflict-laden. Think things through! Analyse! Research! Meditate! It’s also time for you to take care of your health. You have been putting certain aliments to the back of your mind now is a great time to dust them off and go and see that GP…

When he got home, his wife asked how the evening went and not wanting to lie, but also not wanting to explain exactly what happened, he said, "Oh, I had to make a talk about yachting," his wife thought this a little peculiar but said nothing more and went to sleep. The next day she bumped into one of his new teammates at the supermarket and asked, "I heard my husband had to make a speech last night. How did it go?" His mate said smiling, 'Oh, it was excellent! Your husband is clearly very experienced!." The wife looked confused and replied to his mate, "Strange, he has only done it twice and the second time he was sick."

The Lion & The Unicorn ANSWER… As there is no day when both would be lying, at least one of them must have spoken the truth. They both speak the truth only on Sunday. However, the Lion would then be lying in his statement, so it couldn’t be said on Sunday. So only one of them lied. If the Unicorn was the honest one then it would have to be Sunday – but previously we proved this wrong. Thus the Lion & Unicorn must have spoken on a Thursday talking about a Wednesday. So the Unicorn was lying.
