Ed’s Note..
Cue Barry White; get those lights down on the dimmer… It’s Valentines Day people! For all you romantics out there we hope you have a great day and night on the 14th!! Go on push the boat out, it’s only once a year why not choose that special venue to wine and dine your beloved. Fill your belly full of pancakey goodness on the 13th of the month and it’s Chinese New Year on the 16th this year is the year of the dog! On the 28th of the month it’s Andalucía Day… It’s been a funny old month weather wise, sometimes cold then hot! And who’d have thought the snow and hail stones would be back this year on the Costa del Sol? My slippers have never had so much use and I have to admit to hopping into bed once or twice in the middle of the day just to warm up! Fingers crossed February brings warmer weather… Have a fantastic month and remember, keep smiling!

A Woman’s World
THE MEANING OF VALENTINES DAY... Valentine's Day (val*en*tinez dae) n. A day when most women have dreams of a candlelight dinners, prince charming arriving on horseback to sweep you away, diamonds, and a thoroughly romantic day, but at the end of the day consider yourself lucky to get a card.
FORTH TIME LUCKY! The local news station was interviewing an eighty-yearold lady because she had just got married for the fourth time. The interviewer asked her questions about her life, about what it felt like to be marrying again at eighty, then about her new husband's occupation. "He's a funeral director," she answered. 'Interesting,' the newsman thought... He then asked her if she wouldn't mind telling him a little about her first three husbands and what they did for a living. She paused for a few moments, needing time to reflect on all those years. After a short time, a smile came to her face and she answered proudly, explaining that she had first married a banker when she was in her twenties, then a circus ringmaster when in her forties, and a preacher when in her sixties, and now, in her eighties, a funeral director. The interviewer looked at her, quite astonished, and asked why she had married four men with such diverse careers. She smiled and explained, "I married one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go."

SO LONG, BIG BROTHER... CELEBRITY Big Brother and the main BB show to be cut from next year. The Daily Star claimed last month that Channel 5 are going to “pull the plug” on the programme after 18 years. This series of the show is due to end on Friday February 2nd. Host Emma Willis revealed earlier this week they are casting for the next civilian version of the show. Insiders claimed to The Daily Star this would be the last installment however. This year's edition of the show started unlike any other, as the series kicked off with an allfemale cast. Clearly this hasn’t pulled the crowds in for Chanel 5 though…
ANOTHER ROYAL WEDDING… Princess Eugenie & her fiancé will be marrying this autumn at St George's Chapel in Windsor, where Harry and Meghan will be getting hitched in May. Princess Eugenie revealed that the Queen was among the first people to know about the engagement, adding that her 'Granny was very happy'. Jack Brooksbank, 31, popped the question earlier this month with the unusual ring; a padparadscha sapphire surrounded by diamonds. Jack said it was 'love at first sight' when pair were introduced by friends on a skiing holiday in 2010. Buckingham Palace announced last month the couple are set to marry in the Autumn, after getting engaged in Nicaragua earlier in January. YIKES! FEUDING IN ESSEX … Is Ferne McCann & Samantha Faiers friendship on the rocks... They have been close pals from the age of 12, but since starting families of their own, it would appear their friendship has come under strain. It’s thought that the Essex ladies are going through a rocky patch. The pair’s rumoured rift is said to have begun when Ferne landed her own pregnancy reality show First Time Mum. With the format similar to Sam’s hugely popular The Mummy Diaries. Oh dear no one likes a copycat Ferne!

HARRY STYLES COULD BE THE NEXT JAMES BOND... According to Spectre film editor. Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, James Norton... there's been loads of talk over who will play the next James Bond when Daniel Craig eventually hangs up his tuxedo – but the latest rumour is sure to shake (and stir) things up a bit with a younger audience. According to Spectre's film editor Lee Smith, former One Direction star Harry Styles could well take on the role of 007 after his success in last year's Dunkirk. It comes after Bond producer Barbara Broccoli revealed that they won't rule out the possibility of a black or female 007 in a future movie (Introducing Jane Bond)? The currently-untitled James Bond 25 will be released in US cinemas on November 8th, 2019, with a "traditional earlier release" in the UK to be announced in the months to come.
OMG! MASSIVE TOWIE CAST SHAKE UP…... As the new season looms it looks like ITV bosses are making some dramatic changes to our favourite Essex reality show, apparently many stars are facing the chop. So which stars are in the firing line? Well, it looks like show favourites Mike Hassini, Chris Clark and Amber Dowding are among the famous faces leaving the ITVBe show when filming starts up again in March. Also Maddie Hooper and Ruby Lacey newbies to the last season, but frankly didn’t ad much to the party… Meanwhile Mario Falcone has confirmed his exit from the reality show, telling OK in November it wasn’t really for him anymore! SUPPORT FROM HER SONS…... Louise Redknapp faced a tough 2017 after announcing her shock split from husband of 19 years, Jamie. But it looks like the mumof-two is keeping herself busy this year as she’s just about to head off on tour following more than after 15 years away from music. Her two sons will be a huge source of support in the wake of her divorce. We wish her all the luck in the world…

THE HYPNOTIST
A woman comes home and tells her husband, "Remember those headaches I've been having all these years? Well, they're gone." No more headaches?" the husband asks, "What happened?" His wife replies, "Margie referred me to a hypnotist. He told me to stand in front of a mirror, stare at myself and repeat 'I do not have a headache; I do not have a headache, I do not have a headache.' It worked! The headaches are all gone." The husband replies, "Well, that is wonderful." his wife then says, "You know, you haven't been exactly a ball of fire in the bedroom these last few years. Why don't you go see the hypnotist and see if he can do anything for that?" The husband agrees to try it. Following his appointment, the husband comes home, rips off his clothes, picks up his wife and carries her into the bedroom. He puts her on the bed and says, "Don't move, I'll be right back." He goes into the bathroom and comes back a few minutes later and jumps into bed and makes passionate love to his wife like never before. His wife says, "Wow, that was wonderful!" The husband says, "Don't move! I will be right back." He goes back into the bathroom, comes back and round two was even better than the first time. The wife sits up and her head is spinning. Her husband again says, "Don't move, I'll be right back." With that, he goes back in the bathroom. This time, his wife quietly follows him and there, in the bathroom, she sees him standing at the mirror and saying, "She's not my wife. She's not my wife. She's not my wife!" The funeral service will be held on Monday.

“HONK” if you
The other day I went to a local Christian bookstore and saw a 'Honk if you love Jesus' bumper sticker. I was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from a thrilling choir performance, followed by a thunderous prayer meeting, so I bought the sticker and put in on my bumper. I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just lost in thought about the Lord and how good He is and I didn't notice that the light had changed. It is a good thing someone else loves Jesus because if he hadn't honked, I'd never have noticed. I found that LOTS of people love Jesus. Why, while I was sitting there, the guy behind started honking like crazy, and when he leaned out of his window and screamed, "for the love of God, GO! GO!" What an exu-
berant cheerleader he was for Jesus. Everyone started honking! I just leaned out of my window and started waving and smiling at all these loving people. I even honked my horn a few times to share in the love. There must have been a man from Florida back there because I heard him yelling something about a sunny beach... I saw another guy waving in a funny way with only his middle finger stuck up in the air. When I asked my teenage grandson in the back seat what that meant, he said that it was probably a Hawaiian good luck sign or something. Well, I've never met anyone from Hawaii, so I leaned out the window and gave him the good luck sign back. My grandson burst out laughing,
Jesus....!
why even he was enjoying this religious experience. A couple of the people were so caught up in the joy of the moment that they got out of their cars and started walking towards me. I bet they wanted to pray or ask what church I attended, but this is when I noticed the light had changed. So, I waved to all my sisters and brothers grinning, and drove on through the intersection. I noticed I was the only car that got through the intersection before the light changed again and I felt kind of sad that I had to leave them after all the love we had shared, so I slowed the car down, leaned out of the window and gave them all the Hawaiian good luck sign one last time as I drove away.
Praise the Lord for such wonderful folks!

E=mc² doesn’t it?!..
When Albert Einstein was making the rounds of the speaker's circuit, he usually found himself eagerly longing to get back to his laboratory work. One night as they were driving to yet another dinner, Einstein mentioned to his chauffeur (a man who somewhat resembled Einstein in looks & manner) that he was tired of speechmaking. "I have and idea, boss," his chauffeur said. "I've heard you give this speech so many times. I'll bet I could give it for you." Einstein laughed loudly and said, "Why not? Let's do it!" When they arrive at the dinner, Einstein donned the chauffeur's cap and jacket and sat in the back of the room. The chauffeur gave a beautiful rendition of Einstein's speech and even answered a few questions expertly. Then a supremely pompous professor asked an extremely esoteric question about anti-matter formation, digressing here and there to let everyone in "Why n the audience know that he was Let's d ot? o it!" nobody's fool. Without missing a beat, the chauffeur fixed the professor with a steely stare and said, "Sir, the answer to that question is so simple that I will let my chauffeur, who is sitting in the back, answer it for me."

A Man’s World
IDEAS FOR BLOKES.. TO MAKE SHOPPING TRIPS MORE INTERESTING!
Things to do, so your wife/girlfriend stops asking you to go shopping with her altogether...
• Take boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's trolleys when they aren’t looking. • Make a trail of brown sauce leading from the door of the toilet. • Walk up to an employee and tell him/her in an official tone... 'Code 3' in the bakery section..... And watch what happens. • Move all the 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted areas. • When a shop assistant asks if they can help you, begin to cry and ask "Why can't you people just leave me alone?' • Look right into the security camera; use it as a mirror, and pick your nose. • Go to a knife department, & ask the clerk if he knows where the antidepressants are. • Set all the alarm clocks in Homeware section to go off at 5-minute intervals. • Run around the store suspiciously, loudly humming the "Mission Impossible" theme. • In the cooking department, practice your "Madonna look" using different size funnels. • Hide in a clothing rack and when people browse through, yell "PICK ME! PICK ME!" • When an announcement comes over the loud speaker... Assume the fetal position and scream "NO! NO! It's those voices again!!!!" • Go into a fitting room, shut the door and wait a while; then, yell, very loudly, "There is no toilet paper in here!"
You’ll never have to go to La Canada or the Miramar again, EVER!

MEDICAL MAYHEM
ANCIENT MEDICAL TREATMENTS THAT WILL MAKE YOUR STOMACH TURN…!
Medicine in the 21st century is the stuff of science fiction. Medicine back in the day wasn’t as, well, modern. Nor was it sanitary, and it often wasn’t even helpful. Sometimes it was downright terrifying. But you can be the judge.
• Python Bile to Treat Genital Ulcers: Animal bile was once used therapeutically in China to treat a number of ailments. According to the World Journal of Gastroenterology, python bile was “employed externally to treat ulcers of the external female genitalia.” Less clear is: who caught the snake.
• Elephant Bile to Treat Bad Breath: Who needs breath mints when you’ve got a bottle of elephant bile lying around? Ancient Chinese physicians and pharmacists believed that elephant bile, diluted with water, could alleviate halitosis. We imagine it would have tasted better as a milkshake.
• Cocaine for Depression: Sigmund Freud is cherished for his contributions to psychology. He's less revered for incessantly prescribing cocaine to his patients. Not that he was alone. A number of 19th century doctors championed the use of cocaine to treat a range of ailments, from depression to migraines to toothaches. • Treating Hemorrhoids With Hot Irons: Forget Anusol. Medieval manuscripts reveal that 12th century surgeons would treat severe hemorrhoids by burning them away with a cautery iron. Yikes! MORE HORRID TREATMENTS NEXT MONTH...
Is your business feeling slightly under the weather...? Have you got a lack of clients, customers or patients? Why not give us a call? We have affordable, realistic advertising rates, meaning the same businesses advertise year after year...

WHY AM I SO BORED WITH MY LIFE RIGHT NOW? food and think long-term.
6) YOU DON’T WANT TO:
You’re so over the bar scene, the dating scene and the travel scene. You’ve reached the top tier of maturity, which is boring now you’ve got there. Go out again with your partner, enjoy what is around you – a walk by the beach will make you feel 100% better – Oh, and it’s free!
7) YOU’VE BECOME BORING:
1) PEOPLE KEEP ASKING YOU yourself so now you’re stuck feeling TO GO OUT AND YOU KEEP like someone else and it’s making things worse. You haven’t been invigSAYING NO:
Be honest with yourself and cut the crap – we both know you’ve turned down several invitations to hang out over the past month because it seemed too hard or too far or it was too cold outside and you weren’t feeling social. If you want your life to be more exciting, you’re going to have to invite other people into it. A lot of the best stuff happens once you go out!
orated in a long time, sorry to be mean but it’s nobody’s fault except your own.
4) YOU KEEP NOT CONTACTING FRIENDS:
You know what the difference is between you and a person who has plans for this Saturday night? The latter picked up the telephone and called (Okay texted) someone else and asked them to hang out. You 2) YOU HAVEN’T HAD SEX IN didn’t do that because you were too scared of rejection and now you’re FOREVER: Of course your mind is bored. bored. Surprise, surprise. Because YOU’RE BODY IS BORED. Your hormones are bored. Your entire 5) YOU HAVEN’T BEEN ON reproductive system – which is the HOLIDAY BECAUSE YOU’VE primary motivation for so many of BEEN BUYING TAKE AWAY: our actions – has been left out to dry. All your friends are posting photos of You need to go get some. Your brain themselves in India and you’re passive-aggressively hating them is going to thank you for it. because they have the money to 3) YOU’VE LET YOURSELF GO: travel and you don’t. You didn’t Physically, emotionally or mentally budget for holidays. Even a weekend (maybe all three). You stopped doing away could get you out of the dolthe things that make you feel like drums. Stop going for the quick fix of

Sorry to give you the most cliché answer available but it’s probably true. When was the last time you tried something new? Joined a club, took up a hobby, or learned a new language? You are bored because you keep saying “Nah” to the things you should be saying, “YES!” to and now you have nothing to talk about. Take life by the horns again…
8) YOU’VE BEEN ON THE INTERNET FOR SO LONG THAT YOU’VE FORGOTTEN THERE’S AN ACTUAL WORLD OUT THERE:
Here’s a question: How many Netflix shows have you watched this week compared to how many places you’ve gone? How many times have you checked your Facebook compared to how many times you’ve actually spoken to them? We’re all guilty of it. But life doesn’t happen from behind the glare of your phone screen. Get going. Your life might get a lot less boring.

Now Peel have re-introduced the smallest car ever made after improving on the original - “P50” we take a quick look at it and some of the other lesser known micro cars of the 50’s and 60s. Incredibly, around 10,000 of these Spanish-built Biscuter were made, between 1953 and 1960. With no doors or windows or reverse gear. The 1 cylinder, 197 cc, two-stroke motor produced 9 horsepower
Lightburn introduced the Zeta Sports in 1964, with a throbbing 498cc two-stroke engine rated at a heady 21bhp. It clearly proved too much for the Australian market and just 48 were built.

The Zundapp Janus, a four-seater microcar powered by a mid-mounted two-stroke 245cc single-cylinder engine. Almost 7,000 cars were made in it one year production.

When the solar eclipse happens, with Mercury so close to the Sun unexpected events may occur, the plot of your life will twist and change. February 2018 is a month full of drama that makes the most of your entrepreneurial spirit. Mars transits through your sign, which means that you become ambitious, driven, and are able to make decisions. In short, during February 2018 you can achieve a lot if you have a purpose and, even more importantly, a good strategy. Where money is concerned, it comes your way too, but you need to manage it carefully. Mars brings you a lot of vitality and snappy reactions: you have lots of energy to burn. Mars is rather rash though so you need to make an effort to channel its power in the direction of your choice so it won’t go haywire.

In the kingdom of skull... King Norse did not allow any citizen to visit the world outside. Only a person with a correct paperwork was allowed to enter the kingdom or he was sent back. A wooden bridge was what connected the kingdom to the world. The king had appointed a sharpshooter who would check every five minutes on the bridge to check. A Thoughtful Valentine's Day Gift… Jim asked his friend, Tony, whether he had bought his wife anything for Valentine's Day. Yes,' came the answer from Tony who was a bit of a chauvinist, 'I've bought her a belt and a bag. ‘That was very kind of you,' Jim added, 'I hope she appreciated the thought.' Tony smiled as he replied, 'So do I, and hopefully the vacuum cleaner will work better now.'
A guy out on the golf course takes a high-speed ball right in the crotch. Writhing in agony, he falls to the ground, when he finally gets himself to the doctor. He says, "How bad is it doc? I'm going on my honeymoon next week and my fiancée is still a virgin in every way." The doc said, "I'll have to put your penis in a splint to let it heal and keep it straight. It should be okay next week." So he took four tongue depressors and formed a neat little 4-sided bandage, and wired it all together; an impressive work of art. The guy mentions none of this to his girl, marries, and on his honeymoon night in the motel room, she rips open her blouse to reveal a gorgeous set of breasts. This was the first time he saw them. She says, "You are my FIRST, no one has ever touched these breasts. "He whips down his pants and says... "Look at this, it's still in the CRATE!"
