To quote the fresh prince and Jazzy Jeff…” Summer, summer, summertime. Time to sit back and unwind.” Instead of “ooh it’s just too hot” etc... Come on everyone! Isn’t this why we moved to Spain? If it all gets too much why not go for a quick paddle at the nearest beach. The Costa del Sol has loads of entertainment to enjoy this month including: Starlite Marbella, the Estepona Feria plus the Torre del Mar International Air Show and towards the end of the month the Reggaeton Beach Festival take a look at the “What’s on Guide” on page 53 for more information. If you just can’t be bothered then grab a cold drink, get relaxed on your sunbed, and enjoy this issue of Costa Link Magazine, have a fantastic month and keep smiling…

A Woman’s World The chaos continues in a woman’s world...

GETTING YOUR HOPES UP… An angry wife is on the telephone to her husband and says, ‘Where are you?’ The husband replies, ‘Darling, remember that jewellery shop where you saw that amazing diamond necklace and totally fell in love with it, but I didn’t have enough money to buy it at the time?’ The wife blushes and with a big smile says….. ‘Yes, I remember that, my love!’ ‘Well, I’m in the pub next door with my mates.’

I wish I was as brave as my son. He just ate three bites of the dinner I spent two hours preparing, then asked for a biscuit. A BRAND NEW PUPPY… My friend just got a puppy. It’s incredibly cute and playful and she loves it so much. Unfortunately, her husband is allergic to it so she’s going to have to get rid of him. If you’re interested, please send a message… His name is Michael, he’s 54 years old, semi house trained and weighs 14 stone.

I don’t ever need to use Google... My child knows everything. Vases Soaps

LEGAL & WEDDING WOES...

BRAD & ANGE, THE BATTLE CONTUES… SIX YEARS AFTER THEIR DIVORCE BEGAN THE LEGAL BATTLE BETWEEN, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie rages on. Last month, Brad, 58, filed legal action against Angela, 47, accusing her of selling her stake in Miraval, their French family wine business, just to spite him. After 12 years together, their divorce escalated into a furious custody battle. Brad’s requested a jury trial and is seeking damages. Looks like they are nowhere near settling this thing and by all accounts we are going to get another Amber V’s Johnny battle in court. JENNIFER LOPEZ’S HEARTBREAK... AS BEN AFFLECK REFUSES TO GET MARRIED. Ben is happy to wait until 2023 to get married. He wants a long engagement. But that’s not really what Jen wants. Jennifer will do anything she can to have her happy-ever-after this time around. She wants their big day to go ahead soon, so she’s telling Ben that his laid-back approach isn’t working for her. Just a day before the couple’s planned September 2003 wedding they split. We wish them luck and hope they sort it all out soon!

AMBER HEARD TO WRITE TELL ALL BOOK… FOLLOWING THEIR TRIAL

LAST MONTH, Miss Heard was ordered to pay the actor $8.3million in damages. She is said to think her acting career is over and she has “nothing to lose'”. She did her first interview last month on NBC Today and stated that she will stand by the story until her dying day. Depp consistently denied evidence the “outrageous, outlandish” claims of abuse and said he had “spoken up for what I have been carrying on my back reluctantly for six years”.

KATIE PRICE’S BANKRUPTCY REPRIEVE… HER CASE HAS BEEN MOVED TO 2023: Katie was due to face a judge over the £3.2million bankruptcy debts but the hearing, reportedly meant to be at London’s Royal Courts of Justice on June 7th, has now been pushed back into next year. She had agreed to pay £12,000 a month to her creditors in a voluntary arrangement but it has been alleged that Katie has failed to keep this agreement. A repossession order has been made on her house in Surrey, after she allegedly failed to pay a debt of £500,000. She started an OnlyFans account to make some of the cash up but has reduced the subscription fee in the hope of attracting more people to her page.

TOWIE NEWBIES KICKED OFF FLIGHT… FOR REFUSING TO WEAR COVID MASKS & VAPING! The Only Way is Essex star Pia Smith has told her fans that “half the show’s cast” were kicked off a flight from Madrid to London for refusing to wear Covid masks. One of the stars was openly vaping on the plane. The cast members of the ITVBe show had been filming for the new series in the Dominican Republic and were flying back to the UK via Spain. The police report has been passed on to the Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency (AESA), to decide the size of the fine. We are sure this will not be the only thing “kicking off’ the new season of TOWIE will be hitting our screens this July on ITVBe...

A man walks into a bar with his pet monkey. He orders a drink and sits down whilst he is drinking, the monkey starts jumping around all over the place. The monkey grabs some olives from the bar and eats them. Then he grabs the sliced lemons & eats them, and then to everyone’s amazement he jumps onto the pool table, grabs one of the pool balls, sticks it in his mouth and somehow swallows it whole. The bartender screams at the man, "Did you see what your monkey just did?" "No, what?" "He just ate the cue ball off my pool table WHOLE" "Yeah, that doesn't surprise me, "replied the man, "he eats everything in sight, the little tike. Sorry I'll pay for the cue ball and stuff." He finishes his drink, pays his bill, and pays for all the things the monkey ate, then leaves. Two weeks later he's in the bar again, and has his monkey with him. He orders a drink and the monkey starts running around the bar again. While the man is finishing his drink, the monkey finds a maraschino cherry on the bar. He grabs it, sticks it up his bum, pulls it out, and eats it. Then the monkey finds a peanut, and again sticks it up his bum, pulls it out, and eats it. The bartender is disgusted. "Did you see what your monkey did now?" he says. "No, what?" replied the man. "Well, he stuck a maraschino cherry and a peanut up his bottom, pulled it out, and ate it!" said the bartender. "Yeah, that doesn't surprise me," replied the man. "He still eats everything in sight, but ever since he had to pass that cue ball, he measures everything first."

SUMMER VIBES FOR AN EASY DINNER BY Jo’s Kitchen The heat is on so this light, refreshing, yet full of flavour salad is all you need this summer! If you are not keen on squid, use the seafood of your choice. Serves 6, prep 20 minute plus marinating, cooking time 5 minutes

BARBECUED SQUID SALAD INGREDIENTS: FOR THE SQUID: • 800g freshly prepared squid tubes • zest of 3 limes (juice reserved for the dressing) • 3 garlic cloves, crushed • 2 tbsp olive oil • 1 ½ tsp mixed crushed peppercorns

FOR THE DRESSING: • Juice of 1 lime • 2 tbsp fish sauce • 1 red chilli • 1 tbsp palm sugar or light muscovado sugar • 50g roasted chopped peanuts

FOR THE SALAD: • 3 ripe avocados • 400g can black beans, rinsed and dried • 1 large mango cut into 1 cm cubes • 1 large red onion thinly sliced • 1 large red chilli (deseeded if necessary) • handful of each: fresh coriander, mint & basil METHOD STEP 1: Heat the bbq or a griddle pan. STEP 2: Meanwhile, slash the squid tubes all over at 5mm-1cm intervals on each side, cutting through most of the flesh, but leaving the sides intact. STEP 3: In a non-metallic bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients. Add prepared squid and leave to marinade for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours. STEP 4: In a large bowl, mix all the salad dressing ingredients. STEP 5: For the salad, half, stone and scoop the avocado. Add the onions, mango, chilli, black beans and prepared avocado into the bowl with the dressing and toss well. STEP 6: When the bbq is ready, barbeque the squid tubes and tentacles for no more than 1 ½ minutes in total or until the flesh turs from greyish to opaque and shrink up into a spiral shape. STEP 7: Just before serving, add chopped coriander, mint and basil into the salad. Pile the salad onto a platter and top with the hot squid, sprinkle with toasted chopped peanuts. Serve with remaining lime wedges and enjoy!

A large woman, wearing a sleeveless sun dress, walked into a bar in Dublin. She raised her right arm, revealing a huge, hairy armpit and, as she pointed to all the people sitting at the bar she asked, "What man here will buy a lady a drink?" The bar went silent as patrons tried to ignore her. But down at the end of the bar, an owly-eyed drunk slammed his hand down on the counter and bellowed, "Give the ballerina a drink!" The bartender poured the drink and the woman chugged it down. She turned to the patrons and again pointed around at all of them, revealing the same hairy armpit, and asked, "What man here will buy a lady a drink?" Once again, the same little drunk slapped his money down on the bar and said, "Give the ballerina another drink!" The bartender approached the little drunk and said, "Tell me, Paddy, it's your business if you want to buy the lady a drink, but why do you keep calling her the ballerina?" The drunk replied, "Any woman who can lift her leg that high has got to be a ballerina!"

Discovering Istán...

Almaza Views Townhouses, Istan

There are many pockets of the Costa del Sol that lie just out of sight of the majority of visitors. The shops, cultural attractions, golf courses and stunning beaches along Marbella’s Golden Mile attract hordes of tourists each year, yet many places remain tucked way, enjoying the quiet life. We caught up with Costa del Sol property expert Marc Pritchard, from Taylor Wimpey España, to discover one such place: Istán.

Natural beauty Istán is a centuries-old, Moorish village at the head of the Rio Verde valley, which serves as one of the access points to the beautiful Sierra de las Nieves natural park. Pure mountain water feeds the village’s fountains, with visitors stopping to catch the water in jugs as it cascades down the rocks outside the village. If you’re planning to explore Istán, it’s time to ditch the car. The narrow streets were designed for mules and packhorses, so pop your walking shoes on and enjoy rambling around the village on foot. In addition to a couple of restaurants and outstanding tapas bars, Istán is home to a 15th century Arab tower surrounded by gardens, the 16th century Church Almaza Views Townhouses, Istan Almaza Views Pool, Istan Almaza Views terrace, Istan of San Miguel and an old wash house surrounded by houses covered with climbing bougain villaea and roses. Istán is also the perfect place to enjoy a picnic away from the noise of modern life. Motorboats and jet skis are banned from the reservoir by the village – Embalse de la Concepción – so there’s plenty of peace and quiet to enjoy. You could even try to spot one of Marbella’s extremely rare otters while you’re there. Where better to counterbalance the fast-paced modernity of life in nearby Puerto Banús?

Beautiful homes Buyers looking for a home near Istán have two new property options available to them, courtesy of the stunning new Almazara Boutique Residences. The development includes apartments at Almazara Hills and townhouses at Almazara Views, with on-site communal pool and grounds packed with indigenous plants, surrounded by ancient olive trees. Apartments at Almazara Hills are priced from €350,000 plus VAT, while townhouses at Almazara Views start from €530,000 plus VAT.

SHIVER ME TIMBERS WE’VE LOST OUR TREASURE And these people found it! Last month a Royal Shipwreck From 1682 was found of the east Coast of England. The Gloucester, which was carrying a future king of England when it ran aground, though it was found 15 years ago. Its discovery was revealed this month. We take a look at 5 of the most interesting shipwreck treasure hauls EVER...

SS CITY OF CAIRO THE WORLD UNDERSEA SALVAGE RECORD

A treasure that was thought to be forever lost has now seen the light of day after £50 million of cargo, namely silver rupee coins, was recovered from the British steam ship SS City of Cairo by Deep Ocean Search, in April 2015. During a passage from India to England in 1942, SS City of Cairo was struck by German U-boat and sunk 480 miles south of the Atlantic island of St Helena. Found at a depth of 5,150 metres, SS City of Cairo set a world record for the deepest recovery by comparison, the famed Titanic wreck is found at 3,800 metres deep. The record-breaking depth did not make the shipwreck dive easy. "The combination of pressure, temperature, repeated dives at this depth and other issues resulted in multiple breakdowns of systems such as we had not experienced before,” the team reported.

THE BLACK SWAN

THE MOST VALUABLE TREASURE HAUL IN HISTORY The largest monetary treasure haul found was on the wreck code named Black Swan, discovered by Odyssey Marine Exploration in 2007 off of Gibraltar. The salvage team reportedly found 17 tons of coins valued at $500 million; an amount that is both staggering and said to be “unprecedented” in the treasure hunting world. The crew didn’t release the Black Swan dive site or details on the type of coins it uncovered, and promptly flew its haul back to the US. This caused a courtroom brawl, with the Spanish government filing a claim on the treasure and the US Federal Court demanding Odyssey reveal the wreck’s location. After five years of litigation, the courts ruled in Spain’s favour and the treasure had to be flown back from the USA. 54

1715 TREASURE FLEET THE WRECK THAT KEEPS ON REVEALING MORE TREASURE

TITANIC

THE MOST FAMOUS SHIPWRECK AND TREASURE

The Titanic is perhaps the most famous shipwreck of all time, not only because of the tragic story of her sinking by striking an iceberg in 1912, but also for the magnificent treasure that went down with her. She carried many wealthy guests, and it’s estimated that $300 million worth in diamonds were lost in the wreck. The luxury ocean liner was found south of Newfoundland in 1985 by a team of American and French researchers. In 2012, right on cue for Titanic’s centennial birthday, nearly 6,000 items recovered from the wreck went up for sale at two auction houses in the US. The list included a diamond bracelet, dishware and even personal items such as a postcard a passenger wrote to his parents. Treasures from the Titanic continue to go up for offer, with a handful of deckchairs auctioned by Henry Aldrige & Son in April. The Nantucket wooden chairs would have had a home on the ship’s first-class promenade deck now too delicate to be used for seating, but fetched a staggering £85,000 when auctioned.

More than $1 million worth of gold artefacts, including a rare coin destined for the King of Spain, have just been discovered in the shallow waters approximately 30 miles north of West Palm Beach. A family of professional treasure hunters, called the Schmitts, made the find. The treasures were found among the 1715 Treasure Fleet, which sank as the result of a hurricane after leaving Havana, Cuba almost exactly 300 years ago. The artefacts, which were only about 15 feet deep in the water, included 51 gold coins and 40 feet of ornate gold chain "These finds are important not just for their monetary value, but their historical importance," said Brent Brisben, owner of 1715 Fleet-Queen's Jewels, LLC. Since the ship was recovered more than fifty years ago, divers have discovered about $50 million worth of treasure and it is thought more than $400 million worth of treasure may still be hiding below the sea.

THE SAN JOSÉ HOLY GRAIL OF SHIPWRECKS

Carrying a treasure of silver, gold, and emeralds worth billions of dollars today. The galleon sunk after a battle with British ships off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia, in 1708. Three hundred years later, in 2015, the wreck was discovered on the ocean floor. Details about the find were made public in May 2018. Using an underwater vehicle called REMUS 6000, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution helped identify the ship.

Hedgehog Green Crosscode An adult hedgehog was teaching two young hedgehogs how to cross the road without getting killed. He said: ‘If you’re in the middle of the road when a car comes along, just curl up into a ball and the vehicles wheels will pass harmlessly either side of you. It’s simple.’ To illustrate his point, the adult hedgehog then walked out into the middle of the road and as soon as a car appeared, he curled up into a ball. Just as he had predicted, the car’s wheels passed by, leaving him unscathed. Next, one of the younger hedgehogs’s tried it. He walked into the path of an oncoming car’s wheels passed by, leaving him undamaged. Finally the third hedgehog had to go. He walked to the center of the road and curled up into a ball as a car approached. The car passed over it and squashed the hedgehog flat as a pancake. ‘What did he do wrong?’ cried the second hedgehog. ‘Nothing’, said the adult hedgehog. ‘He was just unlucky that a Reliant Robin came along.’

WAYSTO IMPROVE Well Being YOUR MEMORY

OUR MEMORIES ARE AN INTEGRAL PART OF WHO WE ARE, BUT AS WE AGE OUR MEMORY DECLINES. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT SCIENTISTS HAVE BEEN LEARNING MORE ABOUT OUR BRAIN’S AMAZING CAPACITY TO CHANGE AND GROW NEW NEURAL CONNECTIONS EACH DAY, EVEN IN OLD AGE. THIS CONCEPT IS KNOWN AS NEUROPLASTICITY. THROUGH RESEARCH ON NEUROPLASTICITY, SCIENTISTS HAVE DISCOVERED THAT OUR MEMORY CAPACITY ISN’T FIXED, BUT RATHER MALLEABLE LIKE PLASTIC. TO TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF NEUROPLASTICITY, YOU’LL NEED TO EXERCISE YOUR BRAIN AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY. THESE 15 TIPS AND TRICKS ARE SOME OF THE MOST EFFECTIVE METHCONTINUED FROM LAST MONTH... ODS FOR IMPROVING MEMORY.

11) GET PHYSICAL:

Exercising has been shown to have cognitive benefits. It improves oxygen and nutrient delivery to the body, and helps to create new cells in the brain which are essential for memory storage. Exercise especially increases the number of cells in the hippocampus. There’s no need for the exercise to be strenuous. Walking, for example, is a great choice. Yoga also emphasizes breathing from the diaphragm, which helps maximize our oxygen intake, thus improving mental function.

14) DRINK WATER & COFFEE:

Your brain is made mostly of water. Water acts as a shock absorber for the brain and spinal cord. It helps our brain cells use nutrients. So just a small amount of dehydration can have disastrous effects. Mild dehydration has been shown to cause brain shrinkage and memory impairment. Aim for at least eight to ten glasses per day, or more if you’re very active. Caffeine has actually been shown to enhance memory and reduce risk of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. But this one comes with a caveat. Having too much caffeine, or consuming it later in the day, can 12) MANAGE STRESS: have the opposite effect as it can impair sleep in senWhen you’re stressed, your body releases stress hor- sitive individuals. mones like cortisol. Medical Tips HIGH CHOLESTEROL...

High cholesterol is a pretty common issue. However, because this condition can often present without any real symptoms, you may not even know you have it until you visit your doctor. If you’re wondering what causes high cholesterol, what to do if you’ve been diagnosed with it, and if there are ways to reverse it (hint: there are), read on for all the answers!

What is cholesterol?

Cholesterol is a type of lipid. It’s a waxy, fat-like substance that your liver produces naturally. It’s vital for the formation of cell membranes, certain hormones, and vitamin D. Cholesterol doesn’t dissolve in water, so it can’t travel through your blood on its own. To help transport cholesterol, your liver produces lipoproteins. Lipoproteins are particles made from fat and protein. They carry cholesterol and triglycerides, another type of lipid, through your bloodstream. The two major forms of lipoprotein are low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL). LDL cholesterol is any cholesterol carried by low-density lipoproteins. If your blood contains too much LDL cholesterol, you may be diagnosed with high cholesterol. Without treatment, high cholesterol may lead to many health issues, including heart attack and stroke. High cholesterol rarely causes symptoms in the beginning. That’s why it’s important to get your cholesterol levels checked on a regular basis.

High cholesterol symptoms

In most cases, high cholesterol is a “silent” condition. It typically doesn’t cause any symptoms. Many people don’t even realize they have high cholesterol until they develop serious complications, such as a heart attack or stroke. That’s why routine cholesterol screening is important. If you’re 20 years or older, ask your doctor if you should have routine cholesterol screening.

Causes of high cholesterol

Eating too many foods that are high in cholesterol, saturated fats, and trans fats may increase your risk of developing high cholesterol. Living with obesity can also increase your risk. Other lifestyle factors that can contribute to high cholesterol include inactivity and smoking. Your genetics can also affect your chances of developing high cholesterol. Genes are passed down from parents to children. Certain genes instruct your body on how to process cholesterol and fats. If your parents have high cholesterol, you may be at a greater risk of having it too. Other health conditions, such as diabetes and hypothyroidism, may also increase your risk of developing high cholesterol and related complications.

Complications of high cholesterol

Without treatment, high cholesterol can cause plaque to build up in your arteries. Over time, this plaque can narrow your arteries. This condition is known as atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis is a serious condition. It can limit the flow of blood through your arteries. It also raises your risk of developing dangerous blood clots. Atherosclerosis can result in many life threatening complications, such as: • STROKE

• HEART ATTACK • ANGINA, OR CHEST PAIN • HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE • PERIPHERAL VASCULAR DISEASE • CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE

LOWERING cholesterol THROUGH DIET

To help you achieve and maintain healthy cholesterol levels, your doctor may recommend changes to your diet. For example, they may advise you to:

• limit your intake of foods that are high in cholesterol, saturated fats, & trans fats

• choose lean sources of protein, such as chicken, fish, & beans • eat a wide variety of high fiber foods,

such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains • opt for baked, broiled, steamed, grilled, & roasted foods instead of fried foods • avoid fast food & sugary, pre-packaged options when possible

MEDICAL MAYHEM

A STICKY SITUATION...

A man decides to take the opportunity while his wife is away to paint the toilet seat. After he finished, he headed to the kitchen to raid the refrigerator. The wife comes home sooner than expected, and heads to the bathroom, sits down and gets the toilet seat stuck to her rear. She becomes upset and in a panic shouts to her husband to drive her to the doctor. She puts on a large overcoat to cover the stuck seat, and off they go. When they get to the doctor's office, the man lifts his wife's coat to show their predicament. The man asked, ''Doctor, have you ever seen anything like this before?'' ''Well, yes.'' the doctor replied. ''But never framed.''

A ROUTINE CHECKUP... After going to the hospital for what he thought was merely a routine check-up, a man was devastated to learn that he had the rare deadly disease B55. The doctor told him that he had just one week to live. Determined to make the most of his final week of life, he decided to fit in as many activities as possible, including taking his wife out to the bingo one evening. There, he entered the prize draw game. First, he got one line and won fifteen thousand euro’s; then he got two lines and won a car; and finally he got a full house and won a holiday for two in the Maldives. At the end of the round, the bingo caller went over to him and said; ‘you must be the luckiest man in the world! You have won fifteen thousand euro’s, a car and a fantastic luxury holiday in just the one game!’ ‘I’m not that lucky,’ replied the man. ‘I’ve got B55.’ The bingo caller’s face turned to shock and he said; ‘you lucky bugger! You’ve won the raffle as well!’

STRANGE BUTTRUE

Strange Strangebuttrue...

MUSHROOMS TALK TO EACH OTHER...

IT APPEARS SOME SPECIES HAVE A VOCABULARY OF AROUND 50 "WORDS." When we think of the brilliant flora and fauna of planet Earth, the usual suspects tend to come to mind, such as the great intelligence of dolphins, or elephants, and even, humbly speaking, ourselves. Mushrooms, it’s probably fair to say, aren’t famed for their intelligence and have always been

fascinating case studies, thanks to their unique and potentially terrifying properties. The dreaded death cap mushroom, for instance, is so toxic that it causes sickness severe enough to cause irreparable damage to the cells in mere hours. Half of those poisoned by the death cap die, a fate that, in 1534, befell Pope Clement VII. Now, you won’t hear tiny mushrooms talking away to each other at night but through the magic of electric impulses! UWE Bristol’s Andrew Adamatzky studied these impulses in several varieties of mushrooms. For the study, split gill, ghost, enoki, & caterpillar

fungi were used. Data was collected via the use of electrodes, which were placed among the “roots” of this curious assortment of mushroom varieties. It was discovered that the pulses were not random but ordered. In a sophisticated fashion, in fact, to the degree that the coordination suggested the fungi were talking. It seems reasonable to assume this is part of the purpose of mushrooms’ communication: identifying dangers and reacting to them. Though, there is still much to be learned before we can decode the mushroom language, how sophisticated it really is, and the roots of its true purpose.

Capricorn, If you are single then you have great odds at success with potential partners this month. You become bolder and more willing to take the initiative to win over someone’s heart, daring to express your feelings towards someone with whom you’ve started a relationship or secretly been in love with for a while. The Sun, Venus and Mercury transit your skies in July professional success is favored through partnerships and collaborations. When it comes to money, you might feel that things aren’t moving as fast as you’d like. However if you are thrifty you can make profitable investments after July 19th. It’s very likely that July 2022 will begin in full force and you’ll experience all sorts of confusing events. Towards the end of the month you should make more time for rest and reaching your conclusions. Aquarians, if you are single you have better odds to meet someone at work or to meet someone interesting when you are running errands. If you are in a relationship or married, then you might feel tired or annoyed with the presence of your other half. If you are getting stressed with it all then try to focus on your immediate realities, what’s happening here and now. It’s time to put order into your life, first and foremost. If you want a new job, you can find something you like, maybe a job that allows you to have more time for your personal life. When it comes to money, you might feel like during this term you have to work more in order to get the same income. Jupiter is in retrograde motion until November, you get a great chance to revise how you spend money and renegotiate some material rights or some collaborations that bring you an income. Pisces, July 2022 is a blossoming term for your love life. You’re more confident about yourself and your ability to win over someone you’re attracted to. If you’re already involved in a steady connection, be it official or not, the astrological context of July inspires you to find ingenious ways to win back your great loves heart, to show them how much you care so that together you can regain the romance and passion from the beginning of your connection. On the work front Mars creates great conditions for making your knowledge shine and expressing your ideas as boldly and efficiently as possible. If you need to negotiate your income profit from a business or so onyou shouldn’t ask for too much or become aggressive. You’re going through a term when you get the chance to stand out, grow, expand your talents & even earn more money. Try not to waste what you earn. It might be a special opportunity. It’s a term when you can have serendipitous meetings that help you change your professional life. Make enough time for regaining your physical and emotional energy. If you’re single, during this term you get the chance to build romantic ties with more ease than ever before. July 2022 looks to be pretty intense professionally speaking. Many of you could experience plot twists in your career and get special opportunities. At the end of the month you might have to make some important decisions regarding your future; at this time you need peace of mind and clarity of thought. Gemini, during the first part of July 2022 you might be arguing about money and managing it. Luckily, the second half of the month you get the chance to find a solution, and find the funds you need in order to make some investments that are necessary for your family. If you are single then you tend to get your hopes up too much, expect too much from any romantic bond that begins during this term, so you might end up disappointed. The Sun will be transiting your sign and give you the benefit from opportunities to improve your income or find a better-paying job. Jupiter is in retrograde motion from July 28th until November. As a result, you might conclude that some contracts need to be renegotiated. It’s time to clear up which partnerships bring you real benefits and are worth you investing your time and effort into in the future.

An elephant was walking through the jungle, but with each step he took he trampled dozens of ants under his huge feet. The ants became so angry that they started crawling up the elephant’s body, hell bent on revenge. As the elephant felt their presence on his skin, he shook his body, causing all of the ants except one to plunge to the ground. This one ant clung on bravely to the elephant’s neck while all the ants on the ground started to yell: “Strangle him! Strangle him!” A bank robber wanted to keep his identity secret but didn't wear a balaclava. He told all in the bank not to look at him or he would shoot them. One foolhardy customer sneaked a look, and the robber promptly shot him. The robber asked if anyone else had seen his face. One customer, gazing intently at the ground, said "I think my wife got a glimpse"
