KIM WANTS TIME APART FROM HUSBAND KANYE... Their relationship has been floundering after the Paris robbery, a source said last month. Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has reportedly filmed a breakup scene with her husband and rapper Kanye West. The popular couple have reportedly been facing turmoil in their relationship since Kim’s Paris robbery. According to a source, Kim, alongside her mother Kris Jenner, filmed the scene for their family TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. In the scene Kim reportedly told her mother that things between her and West are not working out, despite numerous attempts to save their marriage. MORE TOWIE DRAMA… Looks like the bad feeling hasn't quite gone

away yet. TOWIE stars Jamie Reed and Amber Turner might have tried to put their messy split behind them but the fallout is still causing drama. Jamie has confessed that he’s struggled with frequently coming face-to-face with his ex-girlfriend whilst filming the show – so much so that he’d like to her LEAVE the country. A bit harsh don’t you think Jamie??? Fingers crossed his new romance with model Jade Lewis doesn’t endure quite as much drama, but this is TOWIE after all so we won’t hold our breath…

THE GRAND TOUR SEASON 2… Amazon Prime will be Grand touring this

Autumn 2017. Clarkson, Hammond and May will be fooling around on an epic scale again. The boys have been spotted filming on the island of Pag in Croatia and Hammond was seen driving an Ariel Nomad, while Jeremy tried out a blue Audi TT. Little is known about what the format of season 2 will be, but we're at least assuming the whole 'tour' element will remain, including the travelling tent. It remains to be seen whether features such as Celebrity Braincrash, Conversation Street or the Eboladrome test track will be back.

A few months later, the Arab had to undergo a corrective surgery procedure. Once again, his doctor telephoned the Scotsman who this time was more than happy to donate his blood. “In appr After the second surgery, the Arab sent the eciation of the blo Scotsman a thank-you card and a box of Quality od donation Street chocolates. The Scotsman was shocked ." that the Arab did not reciprocate his kind gesture as he had anticipated. He then phoned the Arab and asked him: "I thought you would be more generous than that last time you sent me a BMW, diamonds and money, but this time you only sent me a lousy thank-you card and a cheap box of chocolates ?" To this the Arab replied....

"Aye laddie, but I now have Scottish blood in me veins”.

Waiting for God, oh... A 54 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital.

While on the operating table she had a near death experience... Seeing God she asked "Is my time up?" God said... "No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live." Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a face-lift, liposuction, breast implants and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair colour and brighten her teeth! Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it. After her last operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance. Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had another 43 years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?" (You'll love this) God replied: “I didn't recognise you. Boom, boom!

Bridgestone's airless concept wheels hope to put an end to punctures forever. They use a system of blade-like spokes, with rims wrapped in slim rubber, to create a lightweight spinner that's strong and, most importantly, puncture proof. The resin and rubber can both be recycled, while the tread pattern is designed to reduce resistance, which means fewer pedals per mile. Bridgestone reckons you’ll see the tubeless spinners by 2019.

Can you tame this lion? A circus owner runs an advertisement for a

LION TAMER WANTED

and two people show up for an interview. One is a retired golfer in his late-sixties and the other is a drop-dead, gorgeous brunette with a killer body in her mid 20’s. The circus owner tells them, I'm not going to sugar coat it - this is one ferocious lion, he ate my last tamer so you two had better be good or you're history." Here's your equipment... a chair, a whip and a gun. Who wants to try out first?" The gorgeous brunette says, "I'll go first." She walks past the chair, the whip and the gun and steps right into the cage. The lion starts to snarl and pant and begins to charge her. As he gets close, she throws open her coat revealing her beautiful, perfect naked body. The lion stops dead in his tracks, he then starts to lick the gorgeous brunette all over suddenly he sheepishly crawls up to her and lays down to rest his head at her feet. The circus owner's jaw is on the floor, and says "That's quite amazing... I've never seen anything like that in my life!" He then turns to the retired golfer and asks, "Can you top that?" The old golfer replies, "Possibly... But you've got to get that lion out of there first."

A Man’s World

THE RULES: FROM OUR POINT OF VIEW...

We always hear 'THE RULES' from the female side. These are our rules: 1. Breasts are for looking at and that is why we do it. Don't try to change that. 2. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it’s up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down – Let war commence… You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down. 3. Saturday is for Sports. It’s like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be. 4. Shopping is NOT a sport. And NO, we are never going to think of it that way. 5. Crying is blackmail. 6. Ask for what you want... Let us be clear on this one: subtle hints do not work! Strong hints do not work! Obvious hints do not work! Just say it! 7. If something we said can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one. 8. We don't remember dates... Mark birthdays and anniversaries on a calendar. Remind us frequently beforehand. 9. Yes, and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question. 10. A headache that has lasted for 17 months is a problem. See a doctor. 11. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become null and void after 7 days. 12. Christopher Columbus did not need directions, and neither do we. 13. ALL men see in only 16 colours, like a Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not a colour. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is.

TOOTHACHE...

Toothache refers to pain in and around the teeth and jaws that's usually caused by tooth decay. You may feel toothache in many ways. It can come and go or be constant. Eating or drinking can make the pain worse, particularly if the food or drink is hot or cold. The pain can also be mild or severe. It may feel "sharp" and start suddenly. It can be worse at night, particularly when you're lying down. A lost filling or broken tooth can sometimes start the pain. It can also sometimes be difficult to decide whether the pain is in your upper or lower teeth. When a lower molar tooth is affected, the pain can often feel like it's coming from the ear. Toothache in other upper teeth may feel like it's coming from the sinuses, the small, air-filled cavities behind your cheekbones and forehead. The area of your jaw close to the infected tooth may also be sore and tender to touch. It's also possible for periodontal disease to give rise to a "dull" pain. Periodontal disease is a bacterial infection that affects the soft and hard structures that support the teeth.

WHEN TO SEE YOUR DENTIST

WHAT CAUSES TOOTHACHE?

TREATING TOOTHACHE

PREVENTING TOOTHACHE

If you have toothache for more than one or two days, visit your dentist as soon as possible to have it treated. The longer you leave it, the worse it will get. If your toothache isn't treated, the pulp inside your tooth will eventually become infected. This can usually lead to a dental abscess, with severe and continuous throbbing pain. Painkillers, such as paracetamol and ibuprofen, may reduce the pain and discomfort while you're waiting for an appointment. Children under 16 years of age shouldn't be given aspirin. You can also try numbing the pain using an over-thecounter dental gel containing local anaesthetic, although this isn't suitable for children under 12. The type of treatment you have for toothache will depend on the cause of the pain, so your dentist will examine your mouth and may carry out an Xray to try to identify the problem. If your toothache is caused by tooth decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. If your toothache is caused by a loose or broken filling, the filling will be taken out, any decay will be removed, and a new filling put in place. If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent reinfection. Your tooth may need to be removed if the toothache can't be treated using these methods, or the tooth is wedged between another tooth and your jaw (impacted). 48

Toothache occurs when the innermost layer of the tooth (dental pulp) becomes inflamed. The pulp is made up of sensitive nerves and blood vessels. Dental pulp can become inflamed as a result of: • Tooth decay: This leads to holes (cavities) forming in the hard surface of the tooth. • A cracked tooth: The crack is often so small that it can't be seen with the naked eye. • Loose or broken fillings. • Receding gums: Where the gums shrink (contract) to expose softer, more sensitive parts of the tooth root. • Periapical abscess: A collection of pus at the end of the tooth caused by a bacterial infection. The best way to avoid getting toothache and other dental problems is to keep your teeth and gums as healthy as possible. To do this, you should: • Limit your intake of sugary foods and drinks: You should have these as an occasional treat and only at mealtimes; read more about cutting down on sugar. • Brush your teeth twice a day using a toothpaste that contains fluoride: Gently brush your gums and tongue as well. • Clean between your teeth using dental floss and, if necessary, use a mouthwash. • Don't smoke: It can make some dental problems worse. Make sure you have regular dental check-ups, preferably with the same dentist. The time between check-ups can vary, depending on how healthy your teeth and gums are.

LIFE BEFORE CGI...

Before CGI (computer-generated imagery) came on the scene the film and TV industry had to actually use the real thing. We all have our favorite star cars, but did you know there were so many of them used on the screen?

The General Lee was one of the bestknown cars in TV, except there were nearly 300 of them! On average in each of the 150 episodes 2 cars were flipped or rolled and destroyed. 24 1957 Plymouth Furys used in the film Christine - only 2 survived. And the engine sounds were not any of them, they were from a 1970 428 SCJ Mustang.

K.I.T.T which stood for Knight Industries Two Thousand, was a customized Pontiac Trans Am. In each of the four series, between 4 and 9 nine were destroyed – Good thing they bought them all at $1 each. Four cars are still in existence. The Ferrari Daytona Spider in Miami vice was a mock up!!! It was really a Chevrlet Covette based replica. This outraged Enzo Feraari so the white Testarossa was introduced, but the cost of Testarossas was so high they used a number of DeTamaso Panteras with Ferrari body kits for scenes that were too risky for the Ferrari.

The Original Blues Brothers movie used 13 different Bluesmobiles, all former police cars purchased from the California Highway Patrol, mocked up to look like former Mount Prospect, Illinois patrol cars. Some were formatted for speed, and others in jumps or high-performance manoeuvres; one was designed simply to fall apart! 56

STRANGE SUPERSTITIONS... CONTINUED FROM LAST MONTH

Do you avoid ladders, pavement cracks and black cats? Or are you far too rational to believe in old wives' tales? Whatever your stance on superstitions, here are some of the more bizarre beliefs from around the world. • If someone cuts bread in an uneven manner is a sign that they have been telling lies. • Hanging a snakeskin from the rafters protects you from fire. • If you see a chimney sweep then shake his hand so that some of his good luck rubs off onto you. • If you shave your head on a Saturday, you will be in perpetual debt. • On the first day of the month it is lucky to say "white rabbits, white rabbits white rabbits," before uttering your first word of the day. • A knife placed under the bed during the childbirth will ease the labour pains. • Keeping a hat on the bed causes bad luck. • Dropping scissors on the floor means your lover is unfaithful to you. • If you use the same pen to take a test that you used for studying to take the test you will get good marks as the pencil remembers the answers. • Unless you were born in October, it's unlucky to wear opals. • A spider is a repellent against plague when worn around the neck in a walnut shell. • If you bite your tongue while eating, it is because you have recently told a lie. • The sound of bells drives away demons because they're afraid of the loud noise. • It is bad luck to light three cigarettes with the same match. • A fish should always be eaten from the head toward the tail.

What do you call a fake noddle? An Impasta. I pulled into the crowded carpark at the local shopping centre and rolled down the car windows to make sure my Labrador Retriever Pup had fresh air. She was stretched fullu out on the back seat and I wanted to impress upon her that she must remain there. I walked to the curb backward, pointing my finger at the car & saying emphatically, "Now you stay. Do you hear me?" "Stay! Stay!"

The driver of a nearby car, a pretty young blonde, gave me a strange look and said, "Why don't you just put your car in 'Park'?"

"Darling" says a husband coyly to his wife: "let's swap positions tonight". "What a good idea" she replies, "you stand in front of the ironing board, and I'll sit in front of the TV and fart". A teacher asked her class how many of them were Jeremy Corbyn fans. Not really knowing what a Jeremy Corbyn fan was, but wanting to be liked by the teacher, all the kids raised their hands except for Little Johnny. The teacher asked Little Johnny why he has decided to be different...again. Little Johnny said, 'Because I'm not a Jeremy Corbyn fan.' The teacher asked, 'Why aren't you a Jeremy Corbyn fan?' Johnny said, 'Because I'm a Conservative.' The teacher asked him why he's a Conservative. Little Johnny answered, 'Well, my Mum's a Conservative and my Dad's a Conservative, so I'm a Conservative.' Annoyed by this answer, the teacher asked, 'If your Mum was a moron and your Dad was an idiot, what would that make you?' Little Johnny replied, 'A Jeremy Corbyn fan.' 72

A string walks into a bar with a few friends and orders a beer. The bartender says, "I'm sorry, but we don't serve strings here." The string goes back to his table. He ties himself in a loop and messes up the top of his hair. He walks back up to the bar and orders a beer. The bartender squints at him and says, "Hey, aren't you a string?" The string says, "Nope, I'm a frayed knot."

A man was driving home from work when he found himself in a traffic jam, all the cars ahead having come to a halt. Just then he noticed a police office approaching on foot. ‘Do you know what the problem is, officer?’ he asked. The officer said: ‘The Prime Minister, Theresa May is sitting in the middle of the road in a state of extreme agitation. She is really up to her eyeballs in all this Brexit stuff and is threatening to douse herself in petrol and set fire to herself.’ ‘So what are you doing about it?’ ‘I’m going from car to car asking for donations,’ replied the officer. ‘How much have you collected so far?’ ‘Well’, said the officer, it’s early days but already I’ve got seventeen gallons and many driver are siphoning their tanks as we speak!’
