Ed’s Note..

A big welcome to the November issue of The Costa Link… Have you noticed it’s getting darker much earlier now? It seems that the weather knows that the clocks have gone back and now it’s got a bit colder, it really feels like winter is on its way! One of the things I miss about living in the UK that I miss is bonfire night, all wrapped up, eating toasted marshmallows in front of a bonfire and watching the fireworks. Maybe we should organise a BIG BON FIRE NIGHT celebration here, email us at info@costalinkmagazine to let us know what you think! Autumn is here as are the long trousers and jumpers it’s time to dust down the onesie! And remember – it’s remembrance Sunday on the 11th. Christmas is coming and will be here before you know it, if you need to boost your business for the festive period, give us a shout, we have some great deals on advertising for the winter and with the coverage & popularity that we have, what would be the point of advertising anywhere else? Have a great month!

A Woman’s World

PrEPArING fOr MArrIED lIfE 50’S STylE!

The following is from a 1950’s Home Economics textbook intended for High School girls, teaching them how to prepare for married life… 1. Have dinner ready: Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal prepared on time. This is a way of letting him know that you have been thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they come home and the prospects of a good meal are part of the warm welcome needed. 2. Prepare yourself: Take 15 minutes to rest so you will be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh looking. He has just been with a lot of workweary people. Be a little gay and a little more interesting. His boring day may need a lift. 3. Clear away the clutter: Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives, gathering up school books, toys, paper, etc. then run a dust cloth over the tables. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest & order and it will give you a lift too. 4. Prepare the children: Take a few minutes to

wash the children’s hands and faces if they are small, comb their hair and if necessary, change their clothes. They are little treasures and he would like to see them playing the part. 5. Minimise the noise: At the time of his arrival eliminate all noise of washer, dryer, dishwasher or vacuum. Try to encourage the children to be quiet. Be happy to see him, greet him with a warm smile. 6. Some Don’ts: Don’t greet him with problems or complaints. Don’t complain if he’s late for dinner. Count this as minor compared with what he might have gone through that day. 7. Make him comfortable: Have him lean back in a comfy chair or suggest he lie down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him. Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soft, soothing and pleasant voice. Allow him to relax and unwind. HOW T HINGS HAV E CHANGED!!!

I'M A CELEBRITY 2018: Who's going into the jungle? An exact start date hasn't been confirmed yet, but the series usually returns to our screens in midNovember. The final line-up has not been reported. However, these are the names show bosses have in mind, according to the rumour mill... The Chase governess, a football legend and a Corrie star... Ann Hegerty, Harry Redknapp and Sair Khan are first stars 'CONFIRMED'. Nick Knowles from DIY SOS, Stephanie Waring from Hollyoaks, Rita Simons from Eastenders, Sam Smith - Singer-songwriter, Kate Garraway TV presenter and host of Good Morning Britain. Jamie Laing from MIC, Kieran Hayler - Katie Price's ex. After much rumour and speculation, it has finally been confirmed that Holly Willoughby will co-host alongside Declan Donnelly for the 2018 series. Roll on the insects, foul food and celeb flirtations! STRICTLY KISS WAS IT A FIX FOR RATINGS BATTLE? Viewers

brand the show a ‘fix’ after judges keep Seann Walsh ‘for the ratings’. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll have heard of the spot of bother both Seann and Katya found themselves in – after they were pictured smooching in the street, despite being involved in their retrospective relationships. Having been saved by the judges last month the fans took to twitter and were calling it all a fix for the ratings... What do you think?

STRANGER THINGS 3... The Netflix mega hit will be arrving in early 2019

and the good news is that all of the original cast are on board for the new episodes. That means: Eleven, Mike, Joyce, Will, Lucas, Dustin, Nancy, Jonathan and fan favourite Steve are all returning. Season 2 of Stranger Things tied up a LOT more loose ends than the first, with the portal to the Upside Down now sealed off, Hawkins lab apparently closed for good and Jonathan and Nancy finally getting together (poor Steve). We can’t wait to find out what happens!

AMY WINEHOUSE IS COMING BACK AS A ‘HOLOGRAM’ FOR 2019 WORLD TOUR… Winehouse, who died in 2011 from alcohol poison-

ing at the age of 27, will, in a manner of speaking, perform some of her most popular tracks during the concerts, among them Rehab, Back to Black, and Valerie. The show will include backing from a live band, backing singers (living ones, not digital projections), and “theatrical stagecraft,” according to the organizers, Base Entertainment. In a tweet posted over the weekend, Amy’s father, Mitch, said his family is “delighted” to be teaming up with the LA-based digital effects company “to continue celebrating the life and work of Amy.”

NEW HOSTS ON TOP GEAR... Top Gear has a brand new presenting

line-up after Friends star Matt LeBlanc quit the show. Take Me Out's Paddy McGuinness and cricketer Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff will be joining motoring journalist and racing driver Chris Harris. Speaking about his new role, Peter Kay's comedy partner Paddy said: "Getting the Top Gear gig is a real honour and I'm thrilled the BBC have given me this opportunity. To be hosting a show I've watched and loved from being a small boy is beyond exciting. We hope it gets better or PLEASE BBC bosses can you forgive Jeremy Clarkson and re-hire Richard Hammond and James May.

NEW SUPERMARKET SWEEP… Rylan Clark Neal drops MAJOR hint

that he's the host of new Supermarket Sweep. The 29-year-old TV presenter posted a picture after Big Brother's live eviction last month, and documents featuring the rebooted show's new logo could be seen in front of him. Watch this space: It teased the rebooted programme: 'It's time to go wild in the aisles once more as the classic Supermarket Sweep returns bigger, funnier, and wilder than ever before!'

CHEAPEST BEER in town...

Michael O’Leary, Chief Executive of Ryanair after arriving in a hotel in Manchester went to the bar and asked for a pint of Guinness...

The barman said, "That will be £1 please, Mr. O’Leary." Taken aback, O'Leary replied, "That's very cheap," and handed over his money. "We do try to stay ahead of the competition", said the barman. "We have the cheapest beer in England". That is remarkable value", Michael comments.

"I see you don't have a glass, you'll need one of ours. That will be £3 please." O'Leary scowled, but paid up. He took his drink and walked towards a seat. "Ah, you want to sit down?" said the barman. "That'll be an extra £2. If you'd pre-booked it would have cost £1." O'Leary swore to himself, but paid up. "I see you've brought your laptop" added the barman. "That wasn't pre-booked either, that's another £3."

O'Leary was so incensed and his face was red with rage. "I've had enough! I insist on speaking to a manager!"

"Here is his e-mail address, or if you wish, you can contact him between 9.00 am and 9.01am every morning, Monday to Tuesday. Calls are free, unless answered, then there is a charge of only £1 per second".

"I will never use this bar again"."OK but do remember, we are the only hotel in England selling pints for £1."

of the most unusual phobias

13

1) Xanthophobia: A fear of the colour yellow...

Sufferers of xanthophobia may fear anything yellow, including the sun, daffodils and yellow paint. In its most aggressive form xanthophobic symptoms may include an overwhelming fear of even the phrase yellow.

2) Turophobia: A fear of cheese...

Sufferers of Turophobia usually associate cheese with a traumatic memory. From cheddar to mozzarella turophobes often have to run away if they so much as see a slice of cheese. Some may fear one type of cheese while others may fear cheese altogether.

3) Somniphobia: A fear of falling asleep...

Somniphobia comprises often irrational and excessive fear of sleep. Somniphobes may fear falling asleep because they associate going to bed with dying. It may also result from a feeling of lack of control or from suffering repeated nightmares. Somniphobics may also fear losing time while sleeping.

4) Coulrophobia: A fear of clowns...

Coulrophobia is a relatively common phobia, and usually present in children according to various surveys. Having grown up with films such as “IT’ & Chucky it’s no surprise many of us have a slight loathing of clowns. The 'scary clown' has often been used in popular culture, for example in the form of the Joker in Batman comics and film adaptations. Coulrophobia has some celebrity sufferers- namely Daniel Radcliffe and Johnny Depp. Depp said of his clown fear: "it’s impossible, thanks to their painted-on smiles, to distinguish if they are happy or if they are about to bite your face off."

5) Hylophobia:

A fear of trees... Hylo-

phobia involves an irrational fear of wood, forest, or trees. It is often caused by exposure to films and fairy tales which involve scary woods in childhood. Many sufferers don't grow out of the phobia and any walk in a scenic setting can trigger anxiety. Hylophobes suffer extreme anxiety when they simply think about a wood.

6) Omphalophobia: A fear of the navel..

Omphalophobia is the fear of belly buttons. Sufferers are afraid to have their belly buttons touched, or to touch another person's belly button. The fear is often linked with the belly button's association to the umbilical cord and a mother's womb. Omphalophobes can be repulsed just by seeing or thinking about a belly button.

7) Nomophobia:

A fear of being without mobile phone coverage... The name for the

phobia of being without mobile phone coverage was coined five years ago after researchers discovered the phenomenon. According to recent surveys, more than half of people in the UK suffer from it. The phobia is brought on by the fear of losing signal, running out of battery or even losing sight of a mobile phone.

8) Ombrophobia: A fear of rain... Ombrophobes have an abnormal

fear of rain which can cause severe anxiety attacks. It is thought to be triggered by a number of factors, including the fact that children are often told not to go out in the rain because it will make them ill. Rain is also often associated with depression.

9)

Papaphobia: A fear of the pope... The fear of the pope or the papacy is uncommon. It is closely related to Hierophobia (the fear of holy individuals or sacred things). It is also related to hagiophobia which is an exaggerated or irrational fear or dislike of saints and holy things. The fear is often triggered by a trauma associated with the pope.

10) Uranophobia: A fear of heaven... Sufferers of uranophobia fear the sky and the afterlife. It can be triggered in religious believers who fear the idea that they will be judged after life.

11)

Pogonophobia: A fear of beards... The term pogonophobia has been used since the 1850s to describe a strong fear of beards. Earlier this month presenter Jeremy Paxman accused the BBC of suffering from pogonophobia after he was criticised for presenting Newsnight with a beard.

12)

Trypophobia: A fear of holes... Sufferers of trypophobia fear objects with small holes. It is not yet considered an official phobia, although thousands of people are reported to suffer from it. According to new research trypophobics associate holes with danger. Examples of feared objects include honeycomb, sponges and any plant with small holes in it. Symptoms of Trypophobia range from nausea and itchy skin to full blown panic attacks.

13) Triskaidekaphobia: A fear of the number 13...

Many people are superstitious about the number 13 but few have a fully fledged phobia. It is closely associated with the fear of Friday 13. Sufferers take great care to avoid using, or doing anything related to the number.

Sex therapy advice Two women had been having a friendly lunch when the subject turned to sex. "You know, John and I have been having some sexual problems" Linda told her friend. That's amazing!" Mary replied, "So have Tom and I. We're thinking of going to a sex therapist" said Linda. "Oh, we could never do that! We'd be too embarrassed!" responded Mary. "But after you go, will you please tell me how it went?" Several weeks passed and they met met for lunch again. "So, how did the sex therapy work out, Linda?" "Things couldn't be better!", Linda exclaimed. "We began with a physical exam, and afterward the doctor said he was certain he could help us. He told us to stop at the supermarket on the way home and buy a bunch of grapes and a dozen donuts. He told us to sit on the floor nude, and toss the grapes and donuts at each other. Every grape that went into my lady bits, John had to get it out with his tongue. Every donut that I ringed his man bits with, I had to eat. Our sex life is wonderful, in fact it's better than it's ever been!" With that endorsement, Mary talked her husband into an appointment with the same sex therapist. After the physical exams were completed the doctor called Mary and Tom into his office. "I'm afraid there is nothing I can do for you," he said. But doctor," Mary complained, "You did such good for Linda and John, surely you must have a suggestion for us! Please, please, can't you give us some help? Any help at all?" "Well, OK," the doctor answered. "On your way home, I want you to stop at the supermarket and buy a sack of apples and a box of Cheerios......"

ANTIQUES OF THE FUTURE With household income falling, people are considering other means of making extra cash - including snapping up collectibles. While it can be difficult to know what items today could become collectible – and highly valuable in future, vintage fashion, jewellery, art, classic cars, vinyl records, coins, comics and childhood toys are some safe bets.

1. First-edition modern books One are in which collectibles could grow in value in future is first-edition modern books, with The Da Vinci Code, Twilight and Game of Thrones being the top three titles to hunt down online if you are a budding book collector. The Da Vinci Code is a worldwide bestseller and could become a collector's item in future...

3. Fashion collaborations

2. Toys and figurines Books are followed by licensed toys and figures, such as Power Rangers Dino Charge, Harry Potter Lego, Star Wars Lego and Bratz. Toys always do extremely well in the collectibles market as many people want to recapture their youth by re-buying toys they had as children.

When scouring the shelves for fashion finds that will provide funds in the future, track down high-street collaborations: such as Kate Moss for Topshop & Balmain for H&M they have all the right ingredients to make them highly prized possessions in the future, thanks to a good designer name, with a unique style that shows the era in which they were desinged. The Balmain x H&M collaboration launched in 2015 and was hugely popular with shoppers. Designed by Balmain's creative director Olivier Rousteing and modeled by Jourdan Dunnand Kendall Jenner.

4. First Generation Apple iPod Shuffle

40

Technology doesn’t always increase in value over time, but there are a few gadgets worth keeping an eye out for, including the First Generation Apple iPod shuffle. While you can no longer buy this iPod directly from Apple or other high street retailers, they can be picked up on eBay for around £25.

CHEAP ITEMS TO BUY TODAY THAT COULD MAKE YOU A FORTUNE

5. Amazon Echo

6. Dyson Supersonic hairdryer

(first release)

The Dyson Supersonic hairdryer was a first of its kind when it launched last year, with controlled air flow, heat which does not exceed 150 degrees (current models can reach a damaging 230 degrees) and clever magnetic nozzle attachments. More than 100 engineers tested the hairdryer on 1,010 miles of human hair and created 600 prototypes. When looking for collectibles, think about searching for items that epitomise the era you live in and that have a strong design concept, as they’re more likely to make their way onto collectors’ radars in the future. This distinctly weird-looking Dyson hairdryer earns its price tag by being six times smaller and three timeslighter than traditional models.

The more recently launched voice-activated home audio speaker system Amazon Echo Voice (first release) is also likely to be a money-maker. While at its heart the Echo is a wireless speaker, it can also set alarms, play music, check the weather, read the news, check the football scores or answer factual questions. Buying one today would cost you just shy of £150.

7. Emma Bridgewater home accessories Certain ceramic goods and furniture will remain highly desirable with collectors in future years, and modern designers to look for include Emma Bridgewater, who creates distinctively patterned homeware. One particular item to look out for in her collection is the portable radio, currently on sale for £130.

8. Cath Kidston furniture Cath Kidston is another modern designer that could be popular with collectors in future, thanks to her distinctive patterns and prints. Her shabby chic chairs as potentially the most profitable of all her products.

9. First edition board games If you come across an original version of a board game, such as Perfection, Crossfire, Jamanji or Omega Virus, it could be highly valuable in future – but make sure it’s in pristine condition before purchasing as this will enhance its value. It is recommend that collectors do their best to take care of their possessions, as their future value is always dependent on their condition. Keep them in waterproof and mould resistant storage containers where possible... and in a room with a controlled temperature. If they are stashed away in a loft or garage, then they could become damaged due to the varying hot and cold temperatures.

10. Nintendo DS Another potential money spinner is the original Nintendo DS, which launched in 2004. All Nintendo DS models combined have sold more than 154 million units, making it the best selling handheld game console to date. While you can pick up an original Nintendo today for around £20 online, it could be worth significantly more in future.

high BlOOD Pressure: High blood pressure can lead to severe problems like a stroke by damaging the brain nerves or weakening the blood vessel and leading to a leak or rupture. Apart from that, high blood pressure is the reason for clot formation in the bloodstream and leading them to the brain, causing a stroke in the process.

Curried Chicken Pie

Who says healthy can’t be hearty? You’ll feel satisfied and nourished with this low-calorie, simple-to-make chicken pie.

Method

1) Heat oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7. Pour 1 tbsp oil into a flameproof casserole dish. Add the chicken, season and fry for 4-5 mins on a medium heat, turning, until lightly browned. Remove with tongs and set aside.

Ingredients:

•2 tbsp cold pressed rapeseed oil •500g chicken breasts, cut into chunks •4 spring onions, sliced •3 garlic cloves, grated •thumb-sized piece ginger, grated •1 tbsp curry powder •1 large head broccoli, cut into florets •1 tsp soy sauce •250ml low-fat coconut milk •250ml chicken stock •1 heaped tsp cornflour mixed with 1 tbsp hot water •4 large handfuls kale •4 sheets filo pastry •½ tbsp nigella seeds

2) Pour another ½ tbsp oil into the casserole dish and add the spring onions. Fry gently for a couple of mins, then stir in the garlic, ginger and curry powder. Cook for 1 min, then tip the chicken back into the pan, along with the broccoli, soy sauce, coconut milk, chicken stock and cornflour mixture. Bring to the boil, then stir in the kale. Once the kale has wilted, take the dish off the heat.

3) Mix the remaining oil with the splash of coconut milk. Unravel the pastry. Brush each sheet lightly with the oil mixture, then scrunch up and sit on top of the pie mixture. Scatter over the nigella seeds, then cook in the oven for 12 mins, or until the pastry is a deep golden brown. Leave to stand for a couple of mins before serving.

PARIS 2018 MOTOR SHOW

The Paris Motor Show last month was all about style – we look at some of the concept cars on display…

The Peugeot e-Legend concept is a 21st Century reimagining of the classic 504 Coupe. Powered by electric motors, the concept is not going to enter mainstream production but could be built as a limited production run. The Mercedes-Benz Vision EQ Silver Arrow, directly inspired by the 1937 W125 Silver Arrow, which set several speed records in its day. Is equipped with a 550kW electric motor (equivalent to around 750 horsepower) and has a theoretical range of 400km.

The Porsche 911 Speedster is based on the GT3 and was built to commemorate 70 years of Porsche. The Speedster will be built as a limited run production with just 1,948 reaching customers in early 2019. The Audi PB 18 e-tron doesn’t direct preview any upcoming Audi production models. Instead, it stargazes to imagine what an all-electric Audi supercar could look like.

58

Renault unveiled the EZ-Ultimo in a global premiere in Paris. This new concept is an electric and fully autonomous "robot vehicle." Available on-demand, the EZUltimo could be used to provide premium tourism experiences, for example. This self-driving vehicle boasts a refined "mobile lounge" interior, extending the premium experience of a hotel, resort or airline while allowing passengers to sit back and enjoy the scenery.

THE VANCOUVER POLICE MUSEUM HAS IT’S OWN MORGUE THEY CALL IT AN ARRESTING EXPERIENCE! The police museum has been entertaining people by showing them the dark side of Vancouver since it opened in 1986, which marked the centennial of the city’s police force. Located in an 85-year-old building that used to be a functioning morgue, you can now find an exhibit dissecting the town’s most famous murders or another exhibit depicting the ways in which a person can die (the props include a real human brain with a bullet hole in it). The museum attracts more than 15,000 visitors annually. It’s even been used in an episode of The X-Files. One room contains all the weapons confiscated by the force over the past decades. You’ll see everything from guns to knives, brass knuckles to

60

bats and, of course, a few stranger objects too. One looked like two bowling balls with spikes coming out of them attached to a chain. Visitors can also wander into a room that perfectly resembles the one where Errol Flynn (who portrayed Robin Hood on the big screen in 1938) had his autopsy in 1959. In a story involving pathologists, there is a perfectly round bullet hole in a nearby glass window. As the story goes, a pathologist was working one night to determine the death of a body, and he suspected foul play. Just then, a shot came through the window, narrowly missing the pathologist. It was later discovered that the shot came from the man who’d killed the victim. He was trying to kill the pathologist to further cover-up his crime. Remember: if you’re making a visit to The Vancouver Police Museum today, there’s no need to be frightened. The only time to worry was if you made a visit 85 years ago—back when it was a working morgue and you’d come in on a slab!

Capricorn, it looks like November 2018 has a lot to offer you the LOVE front. Amorous opportunities are falling at your feet; get out and about now is a great time to meet ‘the one’. During November 2018 Mars makes waves on the work front: you will be feeling very ambitious, the will to succeed and that competitive spirit will be back where it’s be lacking recently. Mars gets involved and this could make you see red on occasions. In order to avoid conflicts, set honorable objectives for yourself and fight fair and with patience in order to reach them! When it comes to money, the regular sources of income don’t bring you particular satisfaction this month, but you might benefit from other sources. In order to avoid complications you should manage your resources judiciously and rest accordingly. Recharge your batteries when you can December is going to be a busy month for you! Aquarians, Venus and Jupiter in your sign are bringing with them a breeze of luck. It’s as if a fairy godmother is trying to set you straight on the path to happiness. But you’ll have to be a little bit flexible. In the case of many Aquarians there’s chance of a joint achievement or of your partner reaching success. November is the month of maximum luck on the work front. Bosses like you, people are doing you favours, connections help you enter higher circles, and your personal charm and talent propel you forward. But beyond the hand of luck are your efforts to rise to a level that allows you to gain respect and notoriety. The combination of luck and personal hard work is unbeatable and will bring you the much-longed-for success. November 2018 will be generous with financial regard expect the euros to be rolling in. Attend as many festivities and social events as they bring you luck! Pisces, with Mercury and Saturn in your sign this month, November 2018 issues related to your home life could raise an ugly head. You are feeling frustration with your partners over the smallest things. These feeling will ease over the month and by the last weeks you’ll be back to your happy go lucky self. Mercury is in your skies during November 2018 your professional life entails more communication than usual Travels bring success and profit, or luck can come from far-away places. You’re very active when it comes to money and can enhance your income, but only provided you not rush or take risks. You’re in reasonably good shape, by and large. But your mood could fluctuate you should try to relax. Start studying something that interests you, but that at some other point seemed difficult to manage! Aries, this month your priorities are heading towards matters of the heart. Everything related to being a couple stands out, drives, and challenges you. You strive to set things on the desired path. And it’s likely you’ll succeed, because Venus and Mars have a special connection and it’s in your favour. First and foremost, November 2018 is a lucky month when it comes to money. The Sun-Venus-Jupiter triplet promises extra income or other forms of material gain, particularly beginning with the second week of November. During this term, collaborations play a significant role in your professional life and in improving income. During November 2018 you’re not in top shape when it comes to vitality, but due to your nature you have a loving of excess, you’ll probably do well as long as you manage your resources carefully. Taurus, November 2018 comes with attractive offers for you. The Sun and Venus are in your sign and this configuration is as promising as can be when it comes to luck in love or marriage, happiness and harmony in the relationship. You’re dealt very good cards, but it’s up to you how you play them. Maybe you should be more daring and determined. Mars and Pluto are in your sign this month and are keeping you busy. You are forced to work under pressure with potential conflicts or other kinds of issues at work. The final results are positive though and you can achieve something special or be offered an opportunity you didn’t see coming. November 2018 is an interesting month health wise favorable in many respects – but it can induce an energetic imbalance. You should curve your tendency toward excesses and manage your stress as best as you can.

Gemini, with Mercury in your skies this November 2018 the emphasis falls on relationships. If you are single now is a great time to get yourself back in the dating game. Work and love seem to be intertwined this month there’s a connection between feelings and duties. It’s not out of the question you’ll have an affair with someone from work. On the work front during November the Sun, Venus, and Jupiter join hands to make what astrologers call the best conjunction. So expect some significant professional achievement or just expect to work with a lot of pleasure and for your results to be handsomely rewarded or to give you other kinds of satisfaction. Collaborations are significant for Gemini’s throughout November 2018. You should enjoy great energy this month why not take us a new sport or outdoor pursuit anything you take up at this time will become a great favourite.

It’s a favorable term for dating or starting a love story. If you are trying for children the transits of November 2018 are benefic for kids and fertility. Mercury is lending you a helping hand on the work front the main priorities this month are information and communication. Money comes on the one hand from intensive efforts, on the other from luck. You’ll go through at least one circumstance in which you’ll be in the right place at the right time in order to enjoy significant gain. During November 2018 you’re in top shape and you’re full of energy: the Sun, Venus, and Jupiter Your morale is high and you look toward the future with optimism. Carpe diem! Enjoy the moment! And do so wholeheartedly!

During the rest of November 2018 it would seem you are going to be a bull in a china shop you NEED something exciting, but try not to lose your head. With Jupiter and Venus in your skies this November 2018 is a good month for buying or renting a house expanding or improving where you live. Professionally, November is good for standing up for something, for holding conferences or debates, for vigorous intellectual effort. Other than that, it’s all action, a lot of motion, and travel. You are in pretty good shape during the first two weeks of November 2018 and in excellent shape during the last week. Stress is what gives you discomfort. You may feel impatience, and a higher risk of accidents don’t rush it’s not a race you know! Virgo, during November 2018 Jupiter is in your sign and it’s communication central the Sun and Venus are all getting involved and this benefic combo all result in declarations of love and success in all negotiations you do. If you are looking for love then you could travel for love or meet someone who’ll mean a lot to you. But one quick warning…. you shouldn’t mix money and amorous interests. Other than that, it’s all good and well. November 2018 does wonders for the mind. The transit of the Sun-Venus-Jupiter trio brings success on the work front you can engineer your own success but there’s risk of making rushed decisions. It would be better to abstain from speculation. Attempts to earn quick and easy money could result in loss. Use your smarts and persuasiveness – they are at their best during this term! Libra, during November 2018 there is a fantastic transit through your sign, which means that love comes your way, seeks you out, and awaits you. All you have to do is look around more carefully and receive the signals sent your way. Whether you’re in a relationship or want one, things related to love life are coming your way this month! November is a dynamic month for your career, and more importantly very productive. Situated in your sign Mars has big plans, is full of energy, and drives you to initiatives and decisions. Throughout November 2018 you’re drawn to challenges and have the right mood to take the first step in a new direction. Your mindset is that of a fighter and even better of a winner. You are in excellent shape during November 2018, all in all a fab month for you! Scorpio, during November 2018 you have very good reason to think you are one of the happiest people on the planet. Venus makes a splendid conjunction with Jupiter. There couldn’t be a better combination when it comes to love, cheerfulness, and the joys of life! Now is the time to start a new relationship, to strengthen the current one, to conquer or get back together with someone. The stars are on your side during November 2018. Because odds are excellent for you to get what you want. During the first two weeks of November the Sun is precisely in your skies. It’s a good sign that foretells a term during which your qualities stand out, your efforts are appreciated, and your chances at success improve. Your morale is excellent this month and you also have plenty of energy, so there’s nothing to complain about.

Sagittarius, Mercury enters your sign on November 5th 2018, and is full of good intentions. It makes you more interested in a relationship or in your partner, pushes you to seek more intimacy, to have a greater desire to do all sorts of things together with your better half. But November 2018 also has a side, which speaks of potential happiness that could be secret, hidden, maybe forbidden. Mercury gives you a greater interest in how well your career is going and, just like in the case of relationships, things can lead to analysis that can result in a decision. Throughout November how well you do when it comes to money depends on professional decisions, but luck has its role as well a positive one, happily! You should rest and relax when you can to get back to the energy you need to be a better you.

Sky has just won the rights to broadcast the World Origami Championships... ...unfortunately it's only available on paper view! An elderly couple, Margaret and Bert, moved to New Mexico. Bert always wanted a pair of authentic cowboy boots, so, seeing some on sale, he bought them and wore them home. Walking proudly, he sauntered into the kitchen and said to his wife, 'Notice anything different about me'? Margaret looked him over. 'Nope.' Frustrated, Bert stormed off into the bathroom, undressed and walked back into the kitchen completely naked except for the boots. Again he asked Margaret, a little louder this time, 'Notice anything different NOW?' Margaret looked up and exclaimed, 'Bert, what's different? It's hanging down today, it was hanging down yesterday, it'll be hanging down again tomorrow!' Furious, Bert yelled, 'AND DO YOU KNOW WHY IT'S HANGING DOWN, MARGARET?'?? 'Nope', she replied. 'IT'S HANGING DOWN, BECAUSE IT'S LOOKING AT MY NEW BOOTS!!!!' Without changing her expression, Margaret replied, 'Shoulda bought a hat, Bert.... Shoulda bought a hat.'

In the pub last night I saw a fat chick dancing on a table. I said to her, "Good legs." The girl giggled and asked, "Do you really think so?" I said "Definitely, most tables would have collapsed by now."

A boy asks his Dad one day, "Dad, why is my sister called Paris?" His Dad replies, "Because she was conceived in Paris." The boy says, "Ahh, thanks Dad." His Dad says, "You're welcome, Backseat." While attending a Marriage Counciling session..... Dealing with communication, Tom and his wife Grace listened to the instructor, "It is essential that husbands and wives know the things that are important to each other." He addressed the man, "Can you describe your wife's favourite flower?" Tom leaned over, touched his wife's arm gently and whispered, "It's Self raising, isn't it? The rest of the story gets rather ugly, so I'll stop right here.
