MARBELLA CRUISERS

‘CRUISING IS BACK’ WITH SOME ‘BRAND NEW’ SHIPS FOR 2022 If you are an experienced cruiser

you will know that Marbella Cruisers always negotiate their cruise prices with a minimum of 100 passengers. This secures ‘GROUP PRICES’ which are the ‘LOWEST CRUISE PRICES’ you can get. PLUS, and equally important, our prices always include dining, of course, in a choice of restaurants, plus all your drinks are always included at every bar and restaurant 24/7, and gratuities are included! Yes that is correct you don’t have to pay tips which most cruise lines now add to your final bill.

WE ARE WITH YOU THROUGHOUT THE CRUISE

If you are new to cruising, you will find our company, door to door’ can be quite helpful. We are available, at the same place on the ship, at the same time every day to answer questions and to help you make the most of everything the ship has to offer. On excursion days you will find us at the bottom of the ships exit gangway to show you to your coach and introduce you to your tour guide. When necessary we secure ‘GROUP’ discounts on hotels and we arrange coaches to take us from the hotel to the ship.

SAVING YOU BETWEEN £350 AND £600 PER PERSON PER CRUISE

When the saving on your cruise price is added to the discounts we get on our ‘GROUP EXCURSION’ prices the average saving per person, based on the last 580 passengers that booked with Marbella Cruisers, is between £350 and £600 per person depending on the duration of the cruise. (7 or 14 nights) There is no fee to join Marbella Cruisers, just a €50 organization/administration fee P.P on each cruise, to contribute to the advertising costs to ensure a minimum of 100 passengers on every cruise which then secures our ‘GROUP PRICE’. As soon as a cruise is announced we reserve a range of the best positioned cabins on a selection of the more popular decks and we negotiate hard.

YOUR CRUISE PAYMENTS ARE FINANCIALLY PROTECTED

Every cruise deposit and every cruise final payment is, for your protection, made to Travelfinders, a London based company, registered with all the relevant financial protection agencies and has been under the same ownership for 32 years. Every booking Marbella Cruisers has made over the past 4 years (that’s 580 passengers) has been through Travelfinders and not one complaint. Once you have decided to join us, the earlier you pay the £100 PP deposit and €50€ PP organization fee the better chance you have of securing the cabin style you prefer and on which part of the ship you prefer your cabin to be located.

For 2022 we are holding... “APRIL CRUISE” 50 CABINS “JUNE CRUISE” 60 CABINS “AUGUST CRUISE” 50 CABINS “OCTOBER CRUISE” 80 CABINS “DECEMBER CRUISE” 50 CABINS

Each block of cabins we are holding is divided into different styles. 20% inside cabins 30% outside (window) cabins and 50% balcony cabins.

WOULDN’T IT BE NICE

Wouldn’t it be nice, to have the opinion on our services and our prices from people that have cruised with us before. If you look carefully you may even know someone.

My husband and I have cruised with Colin twice. He has great organisation skills and deals with queries promptly and efficiently. Also very good value We have made lots of new friends and look forward to cruising with him again. Bob and Christine, La Cala.

We have had many wonderful experiences and adventures with this lovely couple. We have dined and danced and cruised with them. Their organization skills are ‘spot on’ and you always get what is promised and then some, at a very fair price. Steve and Joan, El Paraiso Spain.

We’ve enjoyed some great cruises with Marbella Cruisers, exceptional value and such fun with a friendly crowd. Always superb entertainment and excursions plus dancing with all our friends from Spain. Very pleased to recommend. Jane and Keith, Dorset England.

We caught the cruising bug on our first ever cruise with Marbella cruisers. We are looking forward to making more cruise memories with Colin on luxury ships at incredible prices. We have booked again for 2021. Always very friendly and well organized. Eunice and Laurie, Mijas Spain.

My wife and I have been cruising every year for many years and know exactly where to check prices. Since we found Marbella Cruisers we have cruised with them twice, are booked again for October 2021 and 2022. Well organized and excellent value. Gerry and Yvonne, Duquesa.

We were unsure if we were “cruise people” but persuaded by the low price of Marbella Cruisers' first cruise...We loved it and since been on all of their cruises, we are booked again this year and for next! Colin and Natalie have a talent of making everyone feel welcome Grant and Cara La Cala.

Every cruise and every excursion has been excellent value and never any pressure to join group events. Our last cruise on newly built 'Symphony of the Seas' was a special triumph – We are booked and looking forward to October 2021. Dawn and Shahnaz England.

Marbella Cruises offer what we expect from luxury cruising competitive pricing using modern vessels, low-priced well organised shore tours along with a service that really is "with you all the way". Delighted to recommend Marbella Cruisers to anyone. Mike and Ann, Duquesa.

As a single sailor I have cruised with Marbella Cruisers on three cruises and have booked for 2022. They make a point of introducing me to lots of people and I have made many friends and always feel totally included. Everyone is so friendly. Lolita Kessels, Marbella Spain.

Dancing the night away in the middle of the ocean! Who better to look after you from start to finish than Colin and Natalie. Being new to cruising, we found that having them available every day at the same place was really useful and we soon became good friends. Pete and Ellen, Monda.

If you are still not convinced... then the only way to be sure is to join us on a 2022 cruise

A Woman’s World

school Reunion

(& the SECRET powers of WINE)...

Cathy, Sue and Jane haven't seen each other since High School. They rediscover each other via a reunion website and arrange to meet for lunch in a wine bar.... Cathy arrives first, wearing a beige Versace outfit. She orders a bottle of Pinot Grigio. Sue arrives shortly afterward, in gray Chanel pant suit. After the required ritualized kisses she joins Cathy in a glass of wine. Then Jane walks in, wearing a faded old tee-shirt, blue jeans and boots. She too shares the wine. Cathy explains that after leaving high school and graduating from Oxford University, she met and married Bill, with whom she has a beautiful daughter. Bill is a partner in one of London’s leading law firms. They live in a 4000 sq. ft. apartment in Mayfair, where Susanna, the daughter, attends drama school. They have a second home in the South of France. Sue relates that she graduated from Cambridge University with first class honors and became a surgeon. Her husband, Clive, is a leading City investment banker. They live in a massive house next to the Thames and have a second home in Naples, Florida. Jane explains that she left school at 17 and ran off with her boyfriend, Brian. They run a tropical bird park in Southampton and grow their own vegetables. Brian can stand five parrots, side by side, on his penis. Halfway down the third bottle of wine and several hours later, Cathy blurts out that her husband is really a cashier at Tesco. They live in a small ex-council flat in Walthamstow and have a caravan in Hailing Island. Sue, chastened and encouraged by her old friend's honesty, explains that she and Clive are both nurses' aides in a retirement home. They live in Brixton and take their holidays in Southend on sea. Jane admits that the fifth parrot has to stand on one leg.

The court ruling meant she could not get married, have any more kids or even buy herself a coffee in the morning.... WHAT! NEW TV SHOWS STARTING SOON!

MADE IN CHELSEA SERIES 22: The folks from SW3 are hitting our

screens again this month. The E4 show will follow Ollie Locke and husband Gareth as they embark on their surrogacy journey. Elsewhere, Sophie Hermann is seen with Fredrik Ferrier talking about her sister's upcoming nuptials. Could Sophie and Fred finally fallen for each other? Or is he merely stepping up as her pal and being her plus one to her sister's wedding? Liv Bentley and Tristan Phipps are also seen to be on the rocks - after constantly arguing during the last lockdown. The love triangle of Miles Nazaire, Ruby Adler & Reza Amiri-Garroussi seems to have progressed over the summer months... 'BRIDGERTON' SEASON 2: Everything We Know... What's next for the Bridgerton family? One thing we do know for certain, is that the Duke of Hastings star Regé-Jean Page has left Bridgerton and will not be reprising his role in the coming episodes. Now we’ll be moving on to the second novel, The Viscount Who Loved Me, which focuses on Anthony Bridgerton and a new heroine called Kate Sheffield. It also sounds like season two will be going back into the past. Rupert Evans has been cast as Edmund Bridgerton, who died before the events of season one; he is the late husband of Lady Violet, and father of Anthony, Daphne and co. GEMMA COLLINS PLANS TO GIVE BIRTH ON TV? Over the last few years we have known about the GC’s desire to have a baby. Suffering a number of miscarriages but now she is loved up with Rami, she’s upping her efforts to finally become a mum. According to the Essex diva, she and Rami are about to get down to some serious baby making. The TV series will focus on her struggles due to suffering with PCOS. Apparently her agent is currently “in negotiations” to start filming a new series called Gemma Collins: Making The Baby.

HALLOWEEN SURVIVAL GUIDE

•When it appears that you have killed the monster, NEVER check to see if it's really dead. • If you find that your house is built upon or near a cemetary, was once a church used for black masses, had previous inhabitants who went mad or committed suicide or died in some horrible fashion, or had inhabitants who performed satanic practices in your house, move away immediately. • NEVER read a book of demon summoning aloud, even as a joke. • Do not search the basement, especially if the power has gone out. • If your children speak to you in Latin or any other language which they should not know, or if they speak to you using a voice which is other than their own, shoot them immediately. It will save you a lot of grief in the long run. NOTE: It will probably take several rounds to kill them, so be prepared. • When you have the benefit of numbers, NEVER pair off and go it alone. • As a general rule, don't solve puzzles that open portals to Hell. • NEVER stand in, on, above, below, beside, or anywhere near a grave, tomb, crypt, mausoleum, or other house of the dead. • If appliances start operating by themselves, move out.

HALLOWEEN SURVIVALcoGUIDE nt in u ed ...

• If you're searching for something which caused a noise and find out that it's just the cat, leave the room immediately if you value your life. • Do not take ANYTHING from the dead. • If you find a town which looks deserted, it's probably for a reason. Take the hint and stay away.

• If you're running from the monster, expect to trip or fall down at least twice, more if you are of the female persuasion. Also note that, despite the fact that you are running and the monster is merely shambling along, it's still moving fast enough to catch up with you. • If your companions suddenly begin to exhibit uncharacteristic behavior such as hissing, fascination for blood, glowing eyes, increasing hairiness, and so on, get away from them as fast as possible. • Stay away from certain geographical locations, some of which are listed here: Amityville, Elm Street, Transylvania, Nilbog (you're in trouble if you recognize this one), the Bermuda Triangle, or any small town in Maine. • If your car runs out of petrol at night, do not go to the nearby deserted-looking house to phone for help. • Don't fool with recombinant DNA technology unless you're sure you know what you're doing.

WORDS OF WISDOM learnt over many years!

I've learned that you cannot make someone love you... All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in.

I've learned that no matter how much I care, some people are just horrible. I've learned that it takes years to build up trust... And it only takes suspicion, not proof, to destroy it.

I've learned that you shouldn't compare yourself to others... They are more screwed up than you think. I've learned that you can keep puking... Long after you think you're finished. I've learned that we are responsible for what we do, unless you are a celebrity. I've learned that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades, and there had better be a lot of money to take its place. I've learned that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon... And all the less important ones just never go away.

HALLOWEEN SLASH CAKE What says 'Halloween party' more than this cake? Fondant icing, strawberry jam and red food colouring are the secrets behind the 'blood' topping and filling!

INGREDIENTS:

• 140g Unsalted butter, plus extra for the tin

METHOD: STEP 1: Heat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Butter and line the bases of two 20cm sandwich tins. Melt the butter in a pan, then remove from the heat and beat in the oil, milk, yogurt, vanilla and eggs. Whisk the dry ingredients together with a large pinch of salt, squishing any lumps of sugar with your fingers. Tip the wet ingredients into the dry, then whisk until smooth.

•100ml Grapeseed oil 200ml •Milk •3 tbsp Yogurt •1 tsp Vanilla extract •2 Large eggs, at room temperature •250g Light muscovado sugar •250g Plain flour •3 tsp Baking powder

STEP 2: Divide the batter between the tins and bake for 2530 mins on the same shelf of the oven until risen and a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean. Leave to cool for 10 mins in the tins, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.

STEP 3: To make the buttercream, beat together the sugar, butter and a few drops of the red food colouring. Add 2-3 tbsp of boiling water if needed to soften the mixture, until you end up with a smooth, spreadable icing.

•50g Cocoa powder •¾ x 340g Jar strawberry jam •1¼ kg Ready-to-roll white fondant •Icing

FOR THE BUTTERCREAM •600g Icing sugar, sifted, plus extra for dusting

•300g Butter, softened •Red food colouring

STEP 4: Trim the cakes flat if needed, then halve each through the middle using a large serrated knife. Put one cake layer on a board or plate, spread over a thin layer of the buttercream and dot over a third of the jam. Top with another cake layer and repeat with the buttercream, jam and cake, finishing with a layer of cake. Use most of the remaining buttercream to ice the cake all over, reserving a small amount.

STEP 5: Roll the fondant icing out on a surface dusted with icing sugar until large enough to cover the top and sides of the cake. Carefully lift it up onto the cake and smooth down to help it to stick. Use a sharp knife to cut slashes into the icing, then drizzle a little of the reserved buttercream mixed with some water into each to look like blood.

bad for us as doctors once thought. In some cases, it may actually help reduce back pain. Physiotherapists at the University Hospital of North Tees found some slouching 'can provide a valuable alternative to upright sitting'. This is because slouching allows more fluid to flow between our spinal discs, which helps reduce joint stiffness. However, it should only be done in short bursts. According to the NHS, poor posture can lead to kyphosis: unnatural curvature of the spine. This can cause back and neck pain.

REASONS YOUR STOMACH HURTS…

Continued from last month. Have you got tummy trouble? Everyone’s stomach gets a bit out of sorts from time to time. But in some cases, depending on your symptoms, you may need to see your doctor.

GALLBLADDER ATTACK: This happens when gallstones small rocks made from juices that help with digestion block the tubes, or ducts, that run between your liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and small intestine. The most common symptom is abdominal pain if it is severe or lasts more than several hours, call your doctor. You may also have nausea, vomiting, fever, tea-colored urine, and light-colored stools. The stones often move on their own, but you might need surgery if they don’t.

INCARCERATED HERNIA: A hernia happens when a part of your intestines slides through your abdominal wall. When it gets twisted or moved, and cut off from its blood supply, it can cause severe pain in your belly. Surgery is often needed quickly to correct the problem. CONSTIPATION: Exercise, plenty of water, and foods that have a lot of fiber, like prunes and

64

APPENDICITIS: Your appendix is a finger-shaped organ that is found at the beginning of your colon in the lower right part of your belly. It’s not clear what the appendix does, but when it’s inflamed, it’s usually infected and should be taken out. If it bursts, it can spread bacteria. Pain often starts at your belly button and spreads down and to the right. See a doctor immediately if you think you might have appendicitis.

whole grains, can help. But if you regularly pass fewer than three stools a week, have to strain to go, and your stools are usually lumpy and hard, that can be a sign of a more serious condition. See your doctor if you have any of these.

PANCREATITIS: This happens when your pancreas, an organ that helps your body process sugar and digest food, gets inflamed. You may have pain in your upper belly that gets worse after you eat. You may also have nausea, and you might throw up. Mild cases may go away on their own, but severe cases can be dangerous. Your doctor may ask you to stop eating for a day or two and give you pain meds. If that doesn’t clear it up, you might need to be in the hospital to get nutrition and fluids.

Crohn’s disease. In both conditions, your immune system seems to overreact and inflame your intestinal tract. Though IBD doesn’t affect your stomach directly, belly pain and nausea are common symptoms, along with diarrhea, joint pain, fever, skin rashes, and other symptoms. Your doctor can help you manage your IBD with special medications along with lifestyle changes.

DIVERTICULITIS: Small bulging pouches can form in the lining of your digestive system, usually in the lower part of your large intestine. They’re pretty common and don’t typically cause problems. But if they get inflamed or infected they can cause severe abdominal pain, nausea, and changes in bowel movements. Rest and changes in your diet can help. Your docINFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE tor might prescribe antibiotics (IBD): Inflammatory bowel dis- as well. ease, or IBD, has two main forms: ulcerative colitis (UC) and

That means grizzly bears can literally crush a bowling ball between their jaws. Yikes!

Capricorn, Venus begins its transit on October 7th through your sign. As a result you show your affection towards your loved ones and the ones you’re attracted to from a romantic perspective. You might not be too interested in starting new relationships, but feel the need to put order into your heart and define clearly what are your needs and goals in that regard. Right at the beginning of October 2021, your professional pursuits take priority. Under these astrological circumstances, it’s very likely that you start new projects or even look towards an entirely new direction or change your profession. Take on a diplomatic attitude at home and in professional ties too! The desire to impose your ideas at any cost risks leading to conflicts towards the end of the month. Aquarius, October 2021 could be a term of emotional change. If you’re already involved then until October 18th you might feel the burden of some differences of opinion. Try to find a joint perspective and convenient solutions for both of you. You should pay attention to a predisposition towards emotional idealism that makes you expect too much from your other half or the one you’d like to start a relationship with. You tend to be too outspoken and rooted in your beliefs and ideas about life, which risks affecting some business ties this month. Steer clear of direct confrontations, particularly towards the end of the month! Otherwise, you risk making powerful enemies or ruin your own good reputation that you’ve gained lately. In order to steer clear of low vibes, mental exhaustion, and terms of pessimism, you should try hard and be more flexible with your thinking and attitudes. Pisces, the New Moon of October 7th, gives you the means to improve your emotional ties or marriage. Some older relationships might go into a new phase in which you can become much closer than you’ve ever been before. If you are single you may develop a sudden crush, that risks to complicate your life, if you are not ready to manage it. At work there might be gossip and misunderstandings it’s best to steer clear of them, not get involved, because you risk getting in the middle of other people’s games. The New Moon on October 6th and the Full Moon of October 20th remind you that it’s time to reorganise your budget and go by healthier rules, maybe even drastic ones, when it comes to planning big investments. Saturn and Jupiter, retrograde finishes on October 11th and 18th, respectively. As a result, you regain your zest for life and the confidence in your own devices and your own resources. Aries, in October 2021, your life seems to gravitate around important relationships, everything will just keep coming back to them… This is because many of them need changing and re-evaluating. If you’re in a long-term relationship you’ve been dealing with issues as of late, make the most of Mercury’s retrograde motion to discuss touchy topics so you clear up things bothering you. If you are single you seem to be more determined than ever to make long-term commitments. But it might be tough to pick someone or decide between two or more people. Saturn resumes its direct motion on October 11th and so does Jupiter. As a result some situations start to clear up and become unstuck at work. During the last week of the month, you have a clearer perspective on your professional life and business and you start seeing the first results of your hard work.

Taurus you’re in for a relatively tense start to October 2021, Mercury is still in retrograde and Pluto starts messing around with your relationships. It’s time to see how you can contribute to livening up your relationship. If you are single things might be somewhat complicated. Things start to become clear after October 18th, 2021, when Mercury resumes its direct motion. On the work front you feel that your professional life is under construction, you need to reorganise your strategy when it comes to sources of income and resources. After October 18th, 2021, you can expect some material issues to become clear because you have a clearer perspective on things and on your opportunities to improve your income. The New Moon of October 6th encourages you to take on a healthier lifestyle and let go of some habits that aren’t good for you.

Gemini, your love life is very active in October 2021, the stars will give you the energy you need to consolidate your connection to your other half, or win over someone’s heart or maybe to take feelings further with a brand new relationship. The New Moon of October 6th, 2021 shows that despite difficulties passion still thrives in your life. You seem to be pretty discontent with your material situation and displeased with how things are going professionally. It’s not clear what you should do or in which direction you should go and sometimes you get the feeling that people around you are in your way. If you don’t have a job and you’ve been thinking for a while with the idea of entrepreneurship, it’s time to come up with a plan of action, now is the time to deliver the goods.

Cancer, Pluto resumes its direct motion on October 6th, 2021. Also Saturn ends its retrograde motion on October 11th. As a result, you can expect some situations related to your life to become unstuck and matters related to partnerships or even marriage to become clear. If you want to be listened to and get what you want in relationships (and in marriage), prove that you know what you want! The astrological energy of October 2021 favours more goings on with your family life than career, so you might be more into putting order in your personal life than dealing with various professional projects. When it comes to money, towards the end of the month you could have a predisposition towards wanting too much, getting greedy about negotiating be very careful about playing to many games as you risk ending up losing.

Leo, from October 7th, love is activated by Venus returning to your skies, you start to look at matters of the heart and focusing on the long term. If you’re married, this transit of Venus can help you improve your marriage, become more pleasant and pay more attention to your other half. If you are single then it’s easier to talk to people you’re attracted to this month. Get your brain going this month learn new things, particularly when it comes to constructive and efficient communication. Steer clear of temper tantrums and temper down your tendency towards exerting your authority! Until October 18th you’re predisposed towards financial errors. Be very careful and cautious when signing new contracts etc. You tend to be worked up and it’s tough to focus because all sorts of ideas go through your mind. Long walks on your own reorganise your train of thought. Virgo, October 2021 your relationships seem to be a little touchy. There’ll be various conflicts some long-standing unresolved issues get amplified and now call for radical decisions. Try not to get aggressive even if things aren’t going, as you’d like them to. If you are single then this month sees an influx of suitors, but your just not blown away by any of them. Until October 18th you should steer clear of important decisions. Professionally and when it comes to money, some situations get unstuck because a lot of planets end their retrograde motion. The good news is that the New Moon of October 6th, promises favourable changes when it comes to money and gaining a new perspective when it comes to your worth and your real opportunities to make an income. During the last part of the month some health issues get cleared up: maybe results of the treatments you’ve been undergoing start to show. Libra, the Sun, Mars and Mercury are all brining the focus on to you, you want more independence, but be warned pressure is building and your other half might be trying to hold you back. You know what you want, and you won’t risk allowing your other-half’s interests to reign over you. If you’re single, you manage to attract the attention of potential partners pretty easily. Although love ties that start in October 2021 tend to be pretty complicated and unclear. Under the New Moon of October 6th you might start a new project or even as leader of a team, become very well-known in your professional circle or start a new stage in an older project, which gets you a promotion. Is also encourages reinventing and renewing. You regain your interest and enthusiasm for new things; feel more energetic and motivated as a result.

Scorpio, emotionally and in your love life, many things start to clear up after the 18th of October. Some things from the past seem to keep bothering you, or you deal with various frustrations of late. As a result, in your life as a couple Pandora’s Box might be opened and unpleasant things might come under the spotlight, things you probably wanted to keep hidden. You tend to become overly greedy toward the middle of the month, being too interested in earning money. You might be dealing with an old behavioral pattern that tempts you but that you should steer clear of. It seems that within you there are various frustrations bubbling up, anger and lack of fulfillment that affect your energy and vitality. Take a few days off so you’re not cooped up. It’s time to listen to your inner voice and get away from agitation because you risk snapping towards the end of the month. Sagittarius, wow you are going to be very busy this month, like a social butterfly. If you’re single, you have every chance at meeting interesting people who are attractive to you. An interesting and lucky event for you will happen at the end of Jupiter’s retrograde motion. You work hard and with joy, you’re more careful about the details and willing to create a reputation of an elite professional in your area of work. After a term of difficulties, you now finally get the chance to make some important professional progress. You now see things more clearly and more realistically so you deal better with any potential negotiations. Towards the end of the month, make enough time to reflect on recent events, conflicts that arise frequently about money, and some addictions or co-dependencies that irritate you.

YOU SAID WHAT??? Two friends, Barry and John, were on a train from London to Newcastle when an Australian joined them at their table. Barry asked the Aussie, “ So, why are you heading to Newcastle?” He replied, “I’ve just flown from Oz, I’m here to see my girlfriend.” Barry was a bit deaf, so he asked John, “What did he say?” John replied loudly, ‘He has just flown here from Australia. Going to see his girlfriend.”

“Blimey,” said Barry, “she must be lovely as you are travelling all this way.” “Yeah, she’s great,” said the Aussie. “You what?” said Barry. “She’s great,” John echoed. Barry continued his questioning. “What’s so great about her then? Is it the sex?” The Aussie replied, “Oh yes. She enjoys dressing up in leather and stilettos, being whipped and doing who knows what a cucumber.” “What?” said Barry. Exasperated, John said..... “He knows you mother.”

A little girl asked her mother, "How did the human race appear?" The mother answered, "God made Adam and Eve and they had children, and so was all mankind made." Two days later the girl asked her father the same question.. The father answered, "Many years ago there were monkeys from which the human race evolved." The confused girl returned to her mother and said, "Mum, how is it possible that you told me the human race was created by God, and Dad said they developed from monkeys?" The mother answered, "Well, dear, it is very simple. I told you about my side of the family and your father told you about his."
