BRANGELINA “THE SHOCKING END”...

p i s z s i o b G Show

Angelina wanted an open marriage and to move to Britain to become the new Princess Diana, reveals the biographer who predicted her divorce: Ian Halperin, the author of 'Brangelina, the Untold Story,' told all last month. When the end came, it was unbelievably vicious. Six days before the hotly disputed events aboard Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s private plane said she wanted to talk things out. With their marriage in turmoil, the 41-year-old actress had, she said, worked out a plan. She would take their six children to live in Britain increasingly the base for her charitable and political work as a United Nations Special Envoy for Refugees while Brad would remain in Los Angeles to work on his film career. To the outside world they would remain a happily married couple, she added. But each would be free to pursue whatever liaisons took their fancy. Furthermore, Brad would be able to see the children whenever he wanted to. She had secretly consulted her lawyers, who told her there was only one way she could ever execute her plan: she needed to make sure by any means possible that she gained full legal custody of the children. The best way to do that, Angelina decided, was to drag her husband’s name through the mud in the most damaging way possible by alleging he had harmed the children. She is also prepared to give up her American citizenship to become a member of the House of Lords, which she thinks she can use as a platform to push her project forward. She has talked about it for years. Halperin, thinks she’s outgrown Pitt. I think she wants to emulate Grace Kelly by moving seamlessly from Hollywood to European royalty. ‘Her goal now is definitely to hook up with a high-profile politician or a Royal. She thinks she fits Prince Andrew’s profile and I believe he is on her radar.’

Here are a few of the most shocking heartbreaking celebrity breakups of all time… ZOE BALL 'DUMPS' HUSBAND FATBOY SLIM... ‘It's the end of our rainbow': The couple have split after 18 years of marriage. The couple announced their separation on Saturday but said they will remain 'great friends' and continue to co-parent their two children. A source told The Sun: 'Zoe packed her bags and left. JOHNNY DEPP & AMBER HEARD HAVE DIVORCED... In a joint

statement, the pair acknowledged their relationship had been volatile. Who could forget the video that Amber Heard recorded of her husband Johnny Depp smashing up their kitchen in a violent of rage. The actress, 30, has since denied leaking the video - seemingly taken on her phone without Depp's, 53, knowledge - to news website TMZ. Bovine issue’s...

The only cow in a small town in Australia stopped giving milk. The townsfolk found they could buy a cow in India quite cheaply. So they brought the cow from India and it was wonderful, produced lots of milk every day and everyone was happy. They bought a bull to mate with the cow to get more cows, so they'd never have to worry about their milk supply again. They put the bull in the pasture with the cow but whenever the bull tried to mount the cow, the cow would move away. No matter what approach the bull tried, the cow would move away from the bull and he was never able to do the deed. The people were very upset and decided to go the Vet, who was very wise, tell him what was happening and ask his advice. They told him, "Whenever the bull tries to mount our cow, she moves away. If he approaches from the back, she moves forward. When he approaches her from the front, she backs off. If he attempts from one side, she walks away to the other side." The Vet rubbed his chin thoughtfully and pondered this before asking, "Did you by any chance, buy this cow in India?" The people were dumbfounded, since no one had ever mentioned that they had bought the cow over from India. "You are truly a wise Vet," they said. "How did you know we got the cow in India? The Vet replied with a distant look in his eye, "My wife is from India."

Bespoke Furniture Packages

There are many reasons for choosing a furniture package for your holiday home or in some cases your first home. Here at White Design Company we have many clients with busy lifestyles. They do not want to spend precious holiday time going from shop to shop, selecting furnishings and decoration for their new or existing property. Not only do you have to shop around but you also have to be here to coordinate the delivery or fitting. Most of the work we do is when you, the owner, is back in your home country. So nice to turn the key in the lock when you arrive and know you can relax and have a holiday. Our experienced staff will help you with your bespoke furniture package and we can do most of it by email, allowing you the time to relax when you are here. Whether you want a modern, contemporary or classical look or maybe shabby chic or the industrial look to mention but a few, we will put a package together to suit your requirements.

October 2016 Costa Link Magazine.qxp_Editorial Layout 25/09/16 3:35 pm Page 19

We are asked often at the very start of our designs how much a package will cost. This really depends on your budget and the quality and style you are looking for. There are some areas where you should consider spending a little bit more to allow comfort and longevity. We work to your budget not ours.

Beds are a very important investment, for example you may rely on a holiday rental income, if so then a comfortable bed may make all the difference as to whether your tenants return. A good sofa is also an important purchase as it is a big item to have to replace a few years down the road. Last but not least, your terrace furniture will be subjected to all weathers so consider the quality here as well. Some all weather outdoor furniture can last for years if you go for good quality and it is looked after. The good news is that we can make the overall look beautiful with inexpensive decorative pieces such as pictures, mirrors, lamps etc. and they will stand the test of time making all the difference in keeping the overall cost as low as possible. Also, together with your larger items we are happy to bring a few decorative pieces for you to see in situ before committing to them. Remember White Design Company can provide everything, from the kitchen sink to your bespoke curtains and bedding. We will work on your requirements and bespoke doesn’t always mean expensive.

Look forward to seeing you soon.,

Dilys.

Halloween

Halloween Around the World

may now be a year round money-spinner, but its roots go way back in time. All the best superstitions of the Roman, Celtic, Catholic and European folk traditions, have morphed into the modern-day celebration of Halloween. See how countries around the world put their own spooky spin on Halloween, as well as honor spirits from beyond the grave.

Austria: In Austria, some people will leave bread, water and a lighted lamp on the table

before retiring on Halloween night. The reason for this is because it was once believed such items would welcome the dead souls back to earth on a night which for the Austrians was considered to be brimming with strong cosmic energies.

Canada:

Modern Halloween celebrations in Canada began with the arrival of Scottish and Irish immigrants in the 1800s. Jack O'Lanterns are carved and the festivities include parties, trick-or-treating and the decorating of homes with pumpkins and corn stalks.

China:

In China, the Halloween festival is known as Teng Chieh. Food and water are placed in front of photographs of family members who have departed while lanterns are lit in order to light the paths of the spirits as they travel the earth on Haloween night. Worshippers in Buddhist temples fashion "boats of the law" from paper, some of which are very large, which are then burned in the evening hours. The purpose of this custom is twofold: as a remembrance of the dead and in order to free the spirits of the "pretas" in order that they might ascend to heaven. "Pretas" are the spirits of those who died as a result of an accident or drowning and whose bodies were consequently never buried. The presence of "pretas" among the living is thought by the Chinese to be dangerous. Under the guidance of Buddhist temples, societies are formed to carry out ceremonies for the "pretas," which includes the lighting of lanterns. Monks are invited to recite sacred verses and offerings of fruit are presented. Continued on page 28...

Halloween Around the World

Czechoslovakia:

In Czechoslovakia, chairs are placed by the fireside on Halloween night. There is one chair for each living family member and one for each family member's spirit.

Germany:

In Germany, the people put away their knives on Halloween night. The reason for this is because they do not want to risk harm befalling the returning spirits.

Hong Kong:

The Halloween celebration in Hong Kong is known as "Yue Lan" (Festival of the Hungry Ghosts) and is a time when it is believed that spirits roam the world for twenty-four hours. Some people burn pictures of fruit or money at this time, believing these images would reach the spirit world and bring comfort to the ghosts.

Ireland:

In Ireland, believed to be the birthplace of Halloween, the tradition is still celebrated as much as it is in the UK & US. In rural areas, bonfires are lit as they were in the days of the Celts and children dress up in costumes to spend the evening "trick-ortreating" in their neighborhoods. After the visiting, most people attend parties with neighbours and friends. At these parties, many games are played. Children are also known to play tricks upon their neighbors on Halloween night. One of which is known as "knock-a-dolly," where children knock on the doors of their neighbors but then run away before the door is opened.

Mexico, Latin America & Spain:

Among Spanish-speaking nations, Halloween is known as "El Dia de los Muertos." It is a joyous and happy holiday...a time to remember friends and family who have died. Officially commemorated on November 2nd (All Souls' Day), the three-day celebration actually begins on the evening of October 31st Designed to honor the dead who are believed to return to their homes on Halloween. Halloween Around the World

Mexico, Latin America & Spain Con’t:

Many families construct an altar in their home and decorate it with sweets, flowers, photographs, fresh water and samples of the deceased's favorite foods and drinks. Frequently, a basin and towel are left out in order that the spirit can wash prior to indulging in the feast. Candles and incense are burned to help the departed find his or her way home. Often, a live person is placed inside a coffine which is then paraded through the streets while vendors toss fruit, flowers and candies into the casket.

United Kingdom:

In times of old, children made "punkies" out of large beetroots, upon which they carved a design of their choice. Then, they would carry their "punkies" through the streets while singing the "Punkie Night Song" as they knocked on doors and asked for money. In some rural areas, turnip lanterns were placed on gateposts to protect homes from the spirits who roamed on Halloween night. Another custom was to toss objects such as stones, vegetables and nuts into a bonfire to frighten away the spirits. These symbolic sacrifices were also employed as fortune-telling tools. If a pebble thrown into the flames at night was no longer visible in the morning, then it was believed that the person who tossed the pebble would not survive another year. If nuts tossed into the blaze by young lovers then exploded, it signified a quarrelsome marriage. The UK ceased celebrating Halloween with the spread of the Protestant Reformation. Since followers of the new religion did not believe in Saints, they saw no reason to celebrate the Eve of All Saints' Day. However, in recent years, the US "trick or treating" custom, together with the donning of costumes for going door-to-door, has become a relatively popular past time among English children at Halloween, although many of the adults (particularly the older generations) have little idea as to why they are being asked for sweets and are usually ill-prepared to accommodate their small and hopeful callers.

GADGETS &Gizmo’s The new IPhone 7 and 7 plus were launched last month. Looking very much like the 6 and 6 plus, Apple have abandoned the headphone jack making the need for wireless listening - not a popular upgrade! Other main differences are that the new phone is waterproof, the base model now is now 32gb rather than 16gb, it now has stereo speakers and the home button has a whole new feel. In addition the 7 Plus has 2 cameras to vastly improve photo quality.

The Aerophone AE-10 from Roland looks like something out of a sci-fi movie, all silvery and sleek and dotted with confusing buttons that can emulate all sorts of “real” instruments, such as a Clarinet, flute, oboe, trumpet, saxophone, violin and around 35 other instruments. Out from Next month it will cost you around 800€.

Nike’s new self-lacing trainers work via sensors in the shoe, which detect when a user is wearing them and initiate a “lace engine.” Users can manually adjust the “laces” by pressing a “+” or “-” located on the tongue. It will take upwards of three hours for the shoes to recharge, and they will remain charged for two weeks, depending on the usage. Each pair also comes equipped with a wireless charging station.

SGNL is a wearable that lets you make phone calls by putting your finger to your ear. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth, then uses body-conduction to transmit the call along your hand and finger and into your ear and will be available from February 2017. 34

A married couple were on holiday in Jamaica. They were touring around the market-place looking at the goods and such, when they passed a small sandal shop. From inside they heard the shopkeeper with a Jamaican accent say, 'You foreigners! Come in. Come into my humble shop.' So the married couple walked in..... The Jamaican said to them, 'I 'ave some special sandals I tink you would be interested in. Dey makes you wild at sex.' The husband asked the man, 'How could sandals make you a sex freak?' The Jamaican replied, 'Just try dem on, Mon.' Well, the husband, after some badgering from his wife, finally gave in and tried them on. As soon as he slipped them onto his feet, he got this wild look in his eyes, something his wife hadn't seen before!! In the blink of an eye, the husband grabbed the Jamaican, bent him over the table, yanked down his pants, ripped down his own pants, and grabbed a firm hold of the Jamaican's thighs. The Jamaican began screaming: 'You got dem on de wrong feet!'

A Man’s World

A HIGH PRICE TO PAY…

A man and his ever-nagging wife went on holiday to Jerusalem. While they were there, the wife passed away. The undertaker told the husband, “you can have her buried here in the Holy Land for €1500 or we can have her shipped back home for €50000.” The husband thought about it and told the undertaker he would have her shipped back home. The undertaker asked him, “why would you spend €50000 to have her shipped home when you could have a beautiful burial here, and it would only cost €1500?” The husband replied, “Long ago, a man (JESUS) died here, was buried here, and three days later, rose from the dead. I just can’t take that chance!”

facebook funnies...

For those who do not and cannot comprehend why Facebook exists: I am trying to make friends outside Facebook while applying the same principles. Therefore, every day I walk down the street and tell passersby what I have eaten, how I feel at the moment, what I have done the night before, what I will do later, and with whom. I give them pictures of my family, my dog, and of me gardening, taking things apart in the garage, watering the lawn, standing in front of landmarks, driving around town, having lunch, and doing what anybody and everybody does every day. I also listen to their Being popular on conversations, give them the "thumbs up" and tell them I like them. And it works just like Facebook. I already have four people following me: two police officers, a private investigator, is like sitting at the and a psychiatrist.

DIABETES THE FACTS...

Could you have Diabetes and not know? Diabetes is a lifelong condition that causes a person's blood sugar level to become too high. The hormone insulin produced by the pancreasis responsible for controlling the amount of glucose in the blood. There are two main types of diabetes: Type 1 – Where the pancreas doesn't produce any insulin. Type 2 – Where the pancreas doesn't produce enough insulin or the body's cells don't react to insulin.

SYMPTOMS OF DIABETES

CAUSES OF TYPE 1 DIABETES

The symptoms of diabetes occur because the lack of insulin means glucose stays in the blood and isn't used as fuel for energy. Your body tries to reduce blood glucose levels by getting rid of the excess glucose in your urine. Typical symptoms include: • Feeling very thirsty • Passing urine more often than usual, particularly at night • Feeling very tired • Weight loss and loss of muscle bulk

Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune condition, which means your immune system attacks healthy body tissue by mistake. In this case, it attacks the cells in your pancreas. Your damaged pancreas is then unable to produce insulin. So, glucose cannot be moved out of your bloodstream and into your cells. Type 1 diabetes is often inherited (runs in families), so the autoimmune reaction may be genetic.

TREATING TYPE 1 DIABETES

Diabetes can't be cured. Treatment aims to keep your blood glucose levels as normal as possible and control your symptoms, to prevent health problems developing later in life. As your body can't produce insulin, you'll need regular insulin injections to keep your glucose levels normal. There are alternatives to insulin injections, but they're only suitable for a small number of patients. Diabetes can't be cured.

COMPLICATIONS TYPE 1 DIABETES

Diabetes can cause serious long-term health problems. It's the most common cause of vision loss and blindness in people of working age. Everyone with diabetes aged 12 or over should be invited to have their eyes screened once a year for diabetic retinopathy. Diabetes is the reason for many cases of kidney failure and lower limb amputation. People with diabetes are up to five times more likely to have cardiovascular disease, such as a stroke, than those without diabetes. If you have type 1 diabetes, you'll need to look after your health very carefully. This means keeping to the lifestyle changes that are listed in the next column. See your DOCTOR if you think you may have diabetes. 48

CAUSES OF TYPE 2 DIABETES

Type 2 diabetes occurs when the body doesn't produce enough insulin to function properly, or the body's cells don't react to insulin. This means glucose stays in the blood and isn't used as fuel for energy. Type 2 diabetes is often associated with obesity and tends to be diagnosed in older people. It's far more common than type 1 diabetes. As type 2 diabetes usually gets worse, you may eventually need medication usually tablets to keep your blood glucose at normal levels. Diabetes can cause serious long-term health problems. It's the most common cause of vision loss and blindness in people of working age. Everyone with diabetes aged 12 or over should be invited to have their eyes screened once a year for diabetic retinopathy. Diabetes is also responsible for most cases of kidney failure and lower limb amputation, other than accidents. People with diabetes are up to five times more likely to have cardiovascular disease, such as a stroke, than those without diabetes. If you're at risk of type 2 diabetes, you may be able to prevent it developing by making lifestyle changes. These include: • Eating a healthy, balanced diet • Losing weight if you're overweight •Maintaining a healthy weight • Stopping smoking if you smoke • Drinking alcohol in moderation • Taking plenty of regular exercise • Living with type 2 diabetes

If you already have type 2 diabetes, it may be possible to control your symptoms by making the above changes. See your DOCTOR if you think you may have diabetes.

HOW TO CUT YOUR CHANCES OF GETTING CANCER

How to cut YOUR chances of getting cancer: Here are 8 ways believed to help protect against the deadly disease. Lifestyle changes could stop a staggering 40 per cent of cancers from ever occurring, previous research has claimed. One reason may be down to epigenetics, a new area of research into the way our environment and lifestyles influence the genetics we’re born with. From wearing SPF30 factor sunscreen to losing some weight and exercising, here's what you could do to lower the odds of getting it.

1) LOSE TEN POUNDS Being overweight or obese causes a staggering number of cases of cancers each year including those of the breast, womb, liver, prostate and pancreas. Obesity is second only to smoking, which causes more cases annually. The heavier you are the greater your risk of these particular cancers.

2) STICK TO A GLASS A NIGHT Earlier this year, chief medical officer in the UK Dame Sally Davies declared no level of alcohol consumption was safe. She changed weekly recommendations to 14 units for both men and women. The key reason was the link between even low alcohol consumption and seven types of cancers including those of the breast, liver, bowel, mouth and throat. The WCRF’s research recently linked three or more drinks a day to stomach cancer too.

3) EAT YOGHURT Our gut bacteria or microbiome has been linked with everything from mood to obesity in recent months. And a growing number of studies are now linking it to lowered cancer risk. To keep your gut bacteria in good shape, eat a mix of probiotic foods such as live yoghurt, kefir and sauerkraut. Also include prebiotic foods such as fruit, vegetables and high fibre whole grains and legumes to feed bacteria and help it grow.

4) TAKE AN ASPIRIN We’ve known for some time that taking a low-dose aspirin a day may help prevent the risk of heart attack. But now, growing evidence suggests it could help prevent colorectal or bowel cancer. But it comes with risks such as bleeding from ulcers in the stomach, so talk to your doctor before taking it.

5) MARINATE YOUR MEAT In the 1990s the biggest study into nutrition and

50

cancer began tracking the diets of 500,000 healthy people aged 45-79 across ten countries in Europe and Britain to see who would get cancer. Among the key findings from European Study on Diet and Cancer (EPIC) were processed and red meat are associated with a higher risk of developing bowel and stomach cancers. Current recommendations suggest sticking to 70 grams a day - two rashers of bacon. But don’t despair, marinating meat in spices such as rosemary, thyme, oregano, basil, sage and marjoram before cooking could lower the HCA components in meat.

6) GO FOR FIBRE Simply increasing your fibre and your fruit and vegetable intake to five portions a day could help prevent 14 different types of cancers, the EPIC study found. Increasing your intake of whole grains such as oats, brown rice and wholemeal bread was particularly associated with a lowered risk of bowel cancer.

7) USE SPF 30 Though cases are up by a staggering 360 per cent since the 1970s. In April this year, a study at Ohio State University confirmed wearing SPF 30 could help prevent not only burns but also malignant melanoma. Make sure you protect areas where sun hits. Think baldheads and torsos in men and or exposed calves in women.

8) GET MOVING Being active each day could help prevent cases of breast, bowel and womb cancers. The EPIC study found those who did 30 mins of exercise each day or had an active job had lower chance of developing cancer. It also helps transit times in the intestine, helping food move through faster so there’s less chance of anything in the food you’ve eaten setting off an inflammatory reaction in the bowel which is how is lowers bowel cancer risk.

Medical Mayhem

Fully Lifted… A woman decides to have a facelift for her 50th

birthday. She spends €15,000 and feels pretty good about the results. On her way home, she stops at a newsagents to buy a newspaper. Before leaving, she says to the man serving, “I hope you don’t mind my asking, but how old do you think I am?” “About 32,” the man replied. “Nope! I’m exactly 50,” the woman says happily. A little while later she goes into McDonalds and asks the counter girl the very same question. The girl replies, “I’d guess about 29.” The woman replies with a big smile… “Nope! I’m 50”. Now she’s feeling really good about herself. She stops in a chemist on her way down the street. She goes up to the counter to get some mints asks the lady behind the counter, “How old do you think I am?” The lady replies, “I’d say about 30.” Again the women replies… “Nope! I’m 50”. While waiting for the bus to go home, she asks an old man waiting next to her the same question. He replies, “ I’m 78 and my eyesight is going. Although, when I was young, there was a sure-fire way to tell how old a woman was. If you permit me to put my hands under your bra, then, and only then can I tell you EXACTLY how old you are.” They wait in silence on the empty street until her curiosity gets the better of her… She finally blurts out “What the hell go ahead then.” He slips both his hands under her blouse and begins to feel around very slowly and carefully. After a thorough examination she says, “Okay, Okay… How old am I? “Madam, you are 50.” Stunned and amazed the woman says, “That was incredible how can you tell that?” The old man says, “Promise you won’t get mad?” “I promise I won’t,’ she says. “I was behind you in McDonalds.

MUSCLE CARS...

Looking at all the muscle cars that they are reproducing in America brings back some memories, but do you remember any of these? One of the most amazing muscle cars, Dodge Coronet used Hemi engines in 487 Coronet R/Ts. Just four convertible cars had been made - two in each 1967 and 1970.

The Pontiac GTO Judge was an upgraded model reduced to a minimum to make it light weight and had a 455 cubic inch engine. The rarest model was the convertible. Only 72 were made and it was killed off when the US omission laws became much stricter in 1971.

The Chevrolet Corvette L88 was specifically designed for running on the racing tracks and came with a 427 cubic inch engine. It wasn’t sold to the dealerships and public for the reason that a car with such power of 435 hp could not be considered safe to drive on in streets. Only 196 were made. One of the best-known Plymouth models is also one of the rarest, in 1970 just 135 of the Hemi Superbird were produced. Designed as a racing car. People loved the high mounted, spoiler and its horn which made the same sound as the Looney Tunes character Roadrunner.

Only 57 Ford The Fairlane 500 R-Code were made in 1967. It became the inventive muscle car design of Ford and later the inspiration for the Gran Torino and the Cobra.

Capricorn

Aquarius

Pisces

Aries

Taurus

Gemini 66

Capricorn, the first week of October 2016 will be quite demure. Tendencies will be more toward the analytical than the dynamic. The second and third weeks of October 2016 are a lot more exciting your love life will be travelling toward new horizons. This term could bring a romantic trip or one with a sentimental objective, perhaps even a long distance relationship. October 2016 is an important month for you in professional terms, with the Sun and Mercury bring change and clarification to deals you’ve been working on for a while now. A situation gets un-stuck or clarified and success starts to shape up. Money will come as a consequence of these successes. If you have to make important decisions, do so calmly after analyzing the situation from all angles! You have to avoid excesses and burdening yourself, maintain your energetic balance and physical shape. Take care of yourself this month. Aquarius, the Sun and Mercury will be opening up new horizons and transcending frontiers, at an intellectual/spiritual level as well as physical this October. You may get involved in a study with your partner, or find a new path of personal development. October 2016 is a very dynamic month for Aquarians financially. You might encounter events related to banks or insurance or other financial institutions. If you are thinking about making an important transaction don’t sign up for more than you can pull off! Try for restraint, clarity, honor and legality with everything concerning money! It’s possible you’ll experience a tendency toward restlessness, anxiety, over-analyzing this month. Try not to give too much attention to minor issues! Pisces, considering the Mars-Jupiter-Venus conjunction in your sign October 2016 could be a fabulous month. The trio will develop a lot of energy you will have a need for a lot of affection. If you are single now you will have favorable circumstances for finding love. On the work front October 2016 is a month of collaborations and team efforts. Everything evolves toward freshening up business or extra income. Money is a hot topic for you in October 2016. But everything is up to others, and success and material benefits come with their help. Steer clear of taking risky, impulsive, extravagant financial decisions! October 2016 is lively, but very stressful. You socialise a lot, but tend to think of other rather than yourself – put yourself first for once have a little me time! Aries, during October 2016, Jupiter Sun and Mercury will all be making an appearance in your sign. This combination stimulates your need for affection and your ability to offer affection in turn. Your marriage, love life, and loved one are the center of your universe, while all other concerns gravitate around them. Hopes and expectations are high, expect lots of happiness, but your desires are not entirely fulfilled. At work you are in a Mars-Pluto conjunction this will stimulate your ambition to the max, your need to prove your power and exercise your ability to control your professional situation. Your efforts are appreciated and properly rewarded. During October 2016 you are feeling ok but not on top form. This could mean one of two things: either your get a bug and need to lie low for a while, or you decide to set in motion certain means of solving older issues. Which ever it is make sure you don’t just sweep it under the carpet, take control of the situation and deal with it there and then.

AWKWARD?

COULD THIS BE MORE • The awkward moment when you see a cat and start meowing at it, waiting for it to meow back, only to realise that someone is watching you. • The awkward moment when someone deletes their comments on Facebook and you look like you're talking to yourself.

• The awkward moment when you have no clothes on and there's a delivery guy at the door. • That awkward moment when you can't tell if someone's using a Bluetooth or if they're just talking to themselves. • The awkward moment when you're licking your lips because they're dry but someone takes it the wrong way.

• The awkward Moment when you see an obese friend perched on a scooter and they are offering you a lift. • That awkward moment when you're naked, trying to get dressed and your pet is staring at you.

• That awkward moment when your chair makes a farting noise and no one believes it was the chair, so you try to do it again but you can't make the sound.

• That awkward moment when you think you're doing really well at Mario Kart, and then you realise you're looking at your friends screen.

Vampire 1: "I once went so long without fresh blood that I nearly died." Vampire 2: "How awful!" Vampire 1: "Yes. Fortunately, I found some in the neck of time." A horse and a chicken are playing in a meadow. The horse falls into a mud hole and is sinking. He calls to the chicken to go and get the farmer to help pull him out to safety. The chicken runs to the farm but the farmer can't be found. So he drives the farmer's Mercedes back to the mud hole and ties some rope around the bumper. He then throws the other end of the rope to his friend, the horse, and drives the car forward saving him from sinking! A few days later, the chicken and horse were playing in the meadow again and the chicken fell into the mud hole. The chicken yelled to the horse to go and get some help from the farmer. The horse said, "I think I can stand over the hole!" So he stretched over the width of the hole and said, "Grab for my 'thingy' and pull yourself up." And the chicken did and pulled himself to safety. The moral of the story is: If you are hung like a horse, you don't need a Mercedes to pick up chicks.

Witches Wicked Maze... Can you help the Witch find her pet bat?
