“One thing that GITEX gives us is the ability to work with and meet partners coming in from other regions face to face. When you’re working with someone, for example, in Iraq, yes they come to Dubai, yes we can go to Iraq, but here they come and you get very focused conversations. ”

distributor was also using GITEX to meet partners from all around the region. “One thing that GITEX gives us is the ability to work with and meet partners coming in from other regions face to face. When you’re working with someone, for example, in Iraq, yes they come to Dubai, yes we can go to Iraq, but here they come and you get very focused conversations. Minerva’s various stands around GITEX had also been dedicated to

showcasing solutions from new and existing vendor-partners. Wilcox said that the distributor was looking to showcase how it had helped to drive partners such as Ruckus into new business verticals. “We’re very pleased to have helped develop that and drive that forward from a business development standpoint,” he added. New vendors have since joined Minerva, and so the distributor has used GITEX to showcase some of their solutions. Wilcox said that attention was being drawn to the likes of Firetide, which supplies next-generation wireless mesh networking, and Sub 10 Systems.
