Etisalat signs strategic pact with RAK Free Zone
Etisalat has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone Authority (RAK FTZ) to enhance operational efficiencies through implementation of advanced
telecommunications and ICT services. The agreement was signed by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Managing Director of RAK FTZ and Abdul Aziz Taryam, CEO Advisor and General Manager
- Northern Emirates, Etisalat at the telco’s stands on the sidelines of GITEX Technology Week 2014. Abdul Aziz Taryam commented, “The agreement signifies Etisalat’s commitment to update and implement modern telecommunications and ICT services and solutions for the UAE’s government sector. Dubai Chamber promotes Alibaba partnership
Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry highlighted its exclusive partnership with Alibaba Group for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region that offers its members elite benefits to help them increase export opportunities and facilitate trade through e-Commerce at Gitex.
The Dubai Chamber booth featured information about the exclusive partnership with the global e-business conglomerate that is helping to lead e-Commerce growth in the UAE and across the region. “Dubai Chamber’s participation in GITEX 2014 is the ideal platform to
promote its partnership with Alibaba Group. We are working to strengthen our partnership with Alibaba with new initiatives to benefit the business community,” said Dr. Belaid Rettab, Senior Director, Economic Research and Sustainable Business Development Sector, Dubai Chamber. Dubai Chamber and Alibaba. com signed an MoU to launch a MENA portal www.dubaichamber. com/alibaba in May 2013. Earlier this year, Dubai Chamber signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah Chambers of Commerce to grant portal access and exclusive benefits to their members.
