At GITEX, the managed security services provider, ixtel has announced SaaS-based vulnerability management platform in partnership with edgescan, which detects network and application vulnerabilities on an on-going basis. It is unique, being the only hybrid full-stack security solution of its kind in Europe, Middle East and Africa. With over 5,000 assets under

Avaya is keen to emphasise its use of smart solutions and “laying the foundations” for Smart Cities through its exhibition at GITEX Technology Week. Jean Turgeon, VP and Chief Technologist, SoftwareDefined Architecture, Worldwide Sales, Avaya, stressed how the region’s high ambitions to turn Dubai into a Smart City are becoming a reality. “Our big theme is ‘smart’, which is grabbing a lot of attention,”
he said. “I like to link it to the overarching theme of the digital transformation. Customers are looking at the digital enterprise and how to leverage new solutions.
