Dubai based IT solutions company X-Concepts has launched, what the company claims, the world’s first Islamic IT products.

All three newly launched products - imurshid, ( a mobile app), Islamic Router as well as the Islamic tablet- are both designed and engineered in Dubai.

The concept of the Islamic IT products was ideated by founder and CEO of the X-Concepts group, Asim Sajwani, who envisions to build and connect the Islamic community through this technological invention. iMurshid is said to be the largest Islamic mobile application developed till date. “We are always launching new solutions each year and we would like showcase this here at the event,” adds Ramesh. “We are also expecting to expand Finesse’s network and meet potential new partners. Over the last year we have been recognised by various organisations for our systems integration offering. In the wake of low oil and gas prices, the next generation of “digital oilfields” will be needed to support the Middle East’s rapidly-growing for oil exploration and production over the next five years, declared industry experts today attending GITEX Technology Week 2015.

With the oil and gas industry facing limited resources for exploration and production, energy firms are under high pressure to fully digitise their operations over the next five years, in order to maximize resources and accelerate cycle times, according to a new report by Frost & Sullivan.

GITEX Technology Week 2015 is hosting a wide range of technology exhibitors and thought leaders in the oil and gas sector, who are anticipating the growing need for

energy solutions across cybersecurity, integrating exploration and production, and process optimization.

Cloud-based mobile data centres can provide local area networks, satellite communications, storage and backup, automation, and firewalls; and enable mobile workforces.

Middle East oil and gas firms are also adopting wearables for real-time information, monitoring safety, and managing workflows, according to Frost & Sullivan.

Sharp launches AQUOS XE series Sharp Middle East and Africa is unveiling its AQUOS XU Series, a TV with 8K Up-converter at GITEX Technology Week 2015.

Ruckus unleashes new access points What will you be doing special at this year’s GITEX and what are you showcasing?

GITEX Technology Week has been one of the key industry events in the region, and this is a show that we do not want to miss.

We will be mainly focusing on Ruckus Wireless recently launched Unleashed Access Points.
