Riverbed returns to promote ‘future of networking’ concept

However, if customers are to rely more on applications, ElKhayat believes it is essential that they get the best userexperience possible. “Their data needs to be secure, and there needs to be no disruption in accessing this data,” said ElKhayat. “Organisations who are embarking on this hybrid networking mentality need to ensure that they maintain visibility and control over what is happening, whilst also making sure that the application is performing well.”

In promoting the ‘future of networking’ concept, Riverbed are emphasising a selection of key solutions at this year’s event.

Supreme Legislation Committee reveals smart solutions

In line with continuous efforts to ensure Dubai’s transformation to a smart city, the Supreme Legislation Committee has launched its latest

smart projects which will be implemented in the next phase.

The announcement has come on the sidelines of the Committee’s participation in the 36th edition of GITEX Technology Week.

Under the theme of ‘Reimagining Realities’, the Secretariat is also showcasing its other smart services, including ‘Smart Legislation’ and ‘e-Payment’ for subscription to the ‘Official Gazette of Dubai Government,’ and a service that will enable local authorities to participate and learn about various stages of preparation.

Supreme Legislation Committee was established by Decree No. (23) for the year 2014 in line with the Strategic Plan of the Government of Dubai.

The Committee’s work includes the regulation and review of all issued legislation in the emirate based on clear and effective procedures and methodologies; the development of the legislative process; the improvement of the quality and efficiency of the legislation; and building a legal system that fulfils the visions and ambitions of Dubai.
