Shurooq opts for Oracle SaaS

Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), the “driving force” behind the transformation of Sharjah has chosen Oracle’s cloud applications to drive digital innovation for promoting the Emirate as an investment and visitor destination of choice.

The announcement was made today at an event attended by His Excellency Marwan bin Jassim Al Sarkal, CEO, Shurooq during GITEX. “The emirate of Sharjah is now being recognised as a rapidly evolving economic, manufacturing and tourism hub across the region.

LG hosts regional debut of OLED digital signage displays LG Business Solutions has launched its digital signage portfolio based on OLED technology at GITEX. The dual-sided commercial OLED displays will be available in curved and flat configurations. LG is also exhibiting its 86” Ultra Stretch and split-screen models, along with the “world’s first” OLED TVs designed specifically for hotel rooms. Dubai Police and Nissan join forces to create ‘Smart Response’ service

In line with the UAE Vision 2021, Dubai Police and Nissan Middle East have agreed a partnership that will see the introduction and implementation of a new road safety technology service called ‘Smart Response’. At a special signing ceremony that took place at the Dubai Police stand during GITEX, between Lt. General Khamis Mattar Al Muzainah, Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police and Samir Cherfan, Managing Director of Nissan Middle East, details were announced about Nissan’s ‘Smart Response Service’, which is to be made available to owners of new Nissan Patrol and StarLink_Strip Ads_AW.pdf Maxima vehicles.
