The company came into inception in 1972 and has since been a trusted name in the business of manufacture and sale of tyres. With its’ corporate headquarters in Gurgaon, India, the company caters to over 100 countries across the globe.
The company markets its products under our two global brands: Apollo and Vredestein. These products are available in countries across the globe through a vast network of branded, exclusive and multiproduct outlets. Apollo Tyres has multiple manufacturing units in India, the Netherlands and Hungary.
At the end of the financial year 2020, the company clocked a turnover of US$ 2.27 billion, backed by a global workforce of approximately 17,200 employees.
On global partnerships, Apollo Tyres is an official corporate sponsor of the Manchester United Football Club.
Apollo Tyres Middle East – the regional hub in Dubai
Apollo Tyres Middle East boasts a network of 45 business partners across the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, and Central Asia region, distributing its portfolio of tyres to over 3,000 dealers, 500 fleets, and 35 institutional accounts across the region.
The Apollo Tyres brand was relaunched in Saudi Arabia in November 2019. The company ac-celerated its new market entry strategy last year with new business in Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Mali, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Togo, Senegal, Somaliland, and South Sudan. On innovation, the latest addition to the 1,500+ SKU line-up of passenger, commercial, and specialty tyres is the Apterra AT2 range, an off-road passenger proposition for specialty SUVs.
Apollo Tyres anticipates improved demand across the region and a ramp-up of its plants in Hungary (truck and bus range) and Netherlands (premium passenger tyres under the Vredestein brand). The company expects to see a solid uptick in demand for its truck, bus, agriculture and industrial tyres.

India, Vredestein is a premium brand in Europe. Its global manufacturing footprint continues to expand with the launch of its Hungarian plant which will complement its tyre factory in the Netherlands, in addition to its four plants in India.
Apollo Tyres Middle East (ATME) was established as legal entity in 2011 and was Apollo Tyres’ first sales and marketing subsidiary established outside India as it looked to drive organic growth in export markets. The ATME team includes sales, technical, customer service, back office and testing personnel. The company sells its full range of Truck, Light Truck, Passenger Car and Off Highway Tyres through its distribution partners in more than 30 countries within the MiddleEast, North Africa, East-West Africa and Central Asia regions.
Today, we offera full range of TBR (truck and bus radial) tyres catering to Highway, Regional, Mixed, and Position Specific applications. It also has a full range of PCR (passenger car radial) tyres for the vast majority of the countries covered by its ATME operation; addressing all types of cars and SUVs. Its OHT (off-highway tyre) range is growing and becoming more extensive every year catering to agricultural, construction, industrial, earth mover and special (Sand) applications.
