The past year has been significant for MAN Truck & Bus in its journey in Middle East and Africa. We delivered 80 units of the New Lion’s Coach in Saudi Arabia; received a very special order from Morocco for 100 city buses; presented the New TG Range of trucks to our customers via virtual livestream – a first for us! The initial reactions & feedback have been positive and encouraging.

Most importantly, we completed 15 years of operations in Dubai. Though MAN has been present in various countries in the Middle East and Africa for many decades, completing 15 years as an organisation is truly a momentous occasion. We offer to customers our complete range of trucks, buses, genuine parts, service and training. The Dubai office is also a regional training hub providing support to importers in MEA region. Our assurance is the best-in-class TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), which makes MAN a preferred choice for many customers.

New Lions have arrived

The New TG Range of trucks, which will soon be available here, has been developed based on customer feedback.Our trucks have always been considered as highly reliable; highly fuel efficient, and able to withstand rugged use over the product’s typical operating life, while delivering best-in-class performance. The new vehicles also impart bestin-class safety and comfort.

Customers can choose features in the new range as per their requirements. Each feature presents its unique benefits for the customer. For example, the TipMatic gearbox can help with both driver performance and fuel efficiency. Safety is a key aspect and the features & options are the same as those offered in our European truck range. The trucks have improved electronic architecture that allows quicker identification and faster resolution of the problem. The new trucks offer better fuel efficiency based on the driving conditions, driver behaviour and vehicle maintenance, among other things. The engine range complies with emission norms for Euro 2, Euro 4, Euro 5 and Euro 6 depending on the model selected and/ or customer requirements. As a matter of fact, MAN is the only European truck manufacturer to offer Euro 2 engines.

The company also has service contracts that can help customers immensely in terms of preventive maintenance, predictable costs, optimised vehicle uptime, roadside/on-site assistance. We will continue to offer tailored ProfiDrive training for drivers with the aim is to make good drivers even better.
