MENTAL HEALTH WEEK
As part of Mental Health Week, the pupils have been participating in a variety of activities around the school.
Some of the activities the pupils were able to take part in included; Year 11 received a talk on well being during the exam season, all pupils were also able to receive a “Hug in a Mug” hot chocolate during their break! Later in the week during form time the pupils learnt about the importance of focusing on the moment, in an activity where they created friendship bracelets. The Mental Wellbeing Ambassadors were joined by students from Cranmore for a mini medic talk. Parents were also able to attend a talk from David Leech, an expert in mental health, to learn about wellbeing, including what being happy or worried feels like and how to be more positive in the face of adversity.
What a fun week it has been!
