212° The Extra Degree Have you made those small tweaks to your game so that you’ll come out on top by one stroke? Or by one point on the court? With the competition in full swing this winter and spring, be sure to get in as much practice as you can! A quick thirty minutes with one of the club’s Golf or Tennis Pros could help you to create “the extra degree” of competitive advantage so that you come out on top. Between the Club Championships, tennis round robins, Member-Guest tournaments and the upcoming WGA & MGA events, you’ll have plenty of chances to compete! For those looking for all fun and no games, we have some great social events coming up. Join us for a romantic evening with your love on Valentine’s Day or bring the little princes and princesses in your life to the highly anticipated Disney Character Brunch featuring ten beloved Disney charac-

ters. Be sure sign up early for the Seafood Extravaganza Buffet, Shamrock Smash and Easter Celebration. For the first time, join us for an Old Fashioned Clam Bake in celebration of a great season coming to an end and save the date for the Disney Princess Tea & Wine Dinner in April. As you know, it is always our goal to go the extra mile so that your experiences here at the Club are exceptional and therefore memorable. As James C. Penney once said, “It is the service we are not obliged to give that people value most.” We look forward to making your next year outstanding! If there is anything we can do to better serve you, please let us know. S AV E

Do – Restore surface smoothness by gently pushing from the sides and, in some cases, gently lifting the compressed area. Don’t – Aggressively twist which does more harm than good, even though you see the pros do it on national television.

Carts Do – Avoid wet areas, stay off green and tee banks, and follow all directional signs, ropes, and lines. Don’t – Pull half off the path, as it is unnecessary and causes damage to high visibility areas.

Ropes & Posts Do – Pay attention to ropes and the areas they are intended to protect. Don’t – Don’t step on the rope – step over it.

Bunkers Do – Push sand up the bunker face and enter/exit from the low side of the bunker. Don’t – Climb out of the high side of the bunker, which causes damage to liners and grass faces.

With your help, the Championship 18 & Rees 9 courses will remain in top condition each year for everyone’s enjoyment. Thank you!

C LU B EV E N T R E S E RVAT I O N P O L I C Y Special club events, wine dinners, seafood buffets and holiday dining are popular events that sell out and require the purchase of special food and beverage products, equipment, entertainment, etc. Last minute un-replaced cancellations (including changes to the party number) are unfair to those Members who are turned away due to full capacity and cause the Club to incur unnecessary expenses if the reservation is not replaced. As a result, the Club must exercise a firm enforcement of the special event and holiday dining policy. • At the time of making your reservation we will charge your account 100% of the event price. Please let us know if you have other Members dining with you. • You may cancel 7 days prior to event, without being charged. • If you cancel less than 7 days prior to the event, you will have to pay 100% of the event price. Note: Should there be a wait list and we are able to fill your reservation less than 6 days prior to the event, your account will be credited in full.
