Bridget’s flower paintings speak of an excellent knowledge and ability to hold and set a variety of colour keys, so essential for a good painter … It is her ability to play with the colour, shape and form of flowers that give them the fresh appearance of having arranged themselves and thus becoming an endless visual delight. To compose forms well and use colour with distinction is a fine gift to possess. To do it so delightfully and with such a sense of enjoyment is a rare gift indeed. Bridget is to be congratulated that her work always gives such pleasure to all those with the eyes to see. Robin Child, 2016 Bridget has an apparent compositional innocence about all her paintings that belies an astute understanding of the flat plane, so essential to modern work. Above all, her work has great individuality of style and a real sense of joy that is so enviable in a painter. Robin Child, 2018 Lansley’s emphatic work puts people right back in the foreground of sport, depicting the whole experience of a shooting day: the camaraderie, the beauty of the scenery, the connection between the humans and their environment. Sporting Artist feature, The Field, March 2019
