Active Adult Center The Active Adult Center staff are excited to welcome you to our Center inside the Nittany Mall! With a wide variety of activities for active adults, ages 55+, it is the perfect place for your recreation, education, and social needs! A print and online calendar of events are available to keep participants informed of exciting Center happenings! Stop by, say hello, and check out our latest opportunities! The Center has re-opened! Centre County Van Transportation to the Center remains available. ACTIVE ADULT CENTER IS NOW OPEN! Welcome back! We are very pleased to announce that the Centre Region Active Adult Center has reopened with a full five-day-per-week schedule and regular operating hours. At this time, the Center is slowly adding back its programs and activities as we work with our longtime program instructors and presenters. The daily schedule has changed slightly, but you can guarantee that you'll always find some great activities, camaraderie, and a hot meal if you plan to visit. At this time, the registration for meals is slightly different due to a change in providers; please contact the Center directly for more information about this process at 814-231-3076 or activeadults@crcog.net. If you plan to visit the center, please know that masks are recommended but not required, and physical distancing is not required anymore! Please see some of the special programs on the next few pages that are currently planned, and we look forward to including more of our regular programming within the Active Guide very soon!
