The Car Parts Warehouse I-X Piston Powered Auto-Rama is the largest indoor showcase of custom cars, trucks, antique construction, motorcycles, tractors, military and more of its kind in the world. Each year the weekend-long event hosts 800+ vehicles in Cleveland, Ohio and continues to grow year-after-year!

The I-X Center is massive. How big is it? It’s one of the Top 10 Largest Convention Centers in the WORLD - with over 2 million square feet! One floor of the Piston Power show held 800+ vehicles and don’t forget there’s a basement! Situated adjacent to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and surrounded by five major interstates, the I-X Center offers more than 550,000 square feet of exhibit space.

The top ISCA (International Show car Association) vehicles from around the country will once again be featured throughout the show floor feature areas and will compete for the Car Parts Warehouse I-X Piston Powered Auto-Rama Gold Cup and its top prize of $10,017 in cash.
Also featured on the show floor for 2025 is the Model Car Contest which will be located inside the East entrance and the Krazy Paint Charity Panel Jam, who will be located on the North Wall, whose auction raised $47,895 for the Career and Technical School Foundation at the 2024 show.
The show since its inception in 2013 has always honored the military and first responders and will once again host the Designated Military Zone (DMZ) which hosts both Rolling Thunder and the Medina Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5137.
The 2025 show will also feature many commercial options for show-goers including the Swap Meet, Toy Modelers and Collectible tables along the South wall of the show. 90 Vendors will run from the North wall to the South wall.

The 40th Annual Lima Swap Meet took place on January 26, 2025, at the Allen County Fairgrounds in Lima, Ohio. Enthusiasts from Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Michigan flocked to the event, eager to hunt for bargains, sell treasures, and connect with fellow gearheads. Cruisin’ Times was there to take it all in—scouting deals, meeting readers, and soaking up the atmosphere.
The excitement kicked off early, with a line forming before the 7 AM early bird entry as eager shoppers rushed to snag the best finds. Soon, the crowd spread across four buildings, where the wheeling and dealing continued until the show wrapped up at 3 PM.
A busy onsite food truck kept attendees fueled with crowd favorites including fried bologna sandwiches. Throughout the day, lucky winners took home hourly prizes, leading up to the grand prize drawing of $500, awarded at 2:30 PM.
In total, the event welcomed over 2000 attendees and featured over 200 vendors, all making deals and sharing their passion for cars.
Don’t miss next year’s event, which is always held on the last Sunday of January.

Larry Laurello’s 1972 Monte Carlo Survivor
Martti Ukkonen was a farmer and resident of Ashtabula County his entire life. His farm is located in Williamsfield township Ohio a stones throw from Pennsylvania border and Trumbull county. On June 30, 1971 Martti went to Don Howell Chevrolet on main street Ashtabula and bought the car of his life, this 1972 Monte Carlo. He called it the “Sunday Car”.
Martti would take the love of his life Tracey Housel for Sunday drives through out Ashtabula County. Eight years ago Dave Paine introduced me to Martti and Tracey and I ended up buying the Monte Carlo from them. On that day I promised I would bring the car back for them to see what I did to it. Martti passed 6 months after our first meeting but Tracey still lives at the homestead. I drove the Monte Carlo out to her house and knocked on the door to show her the car and take a ride. Before I got to the house few of her neighbors had already called her to tell her Martti’s car is driving down the road. Tracey and I had a wonderful day riding in the car.
