The housing complex is based on a square and replicable grid matrix. Distributed throughout the residential, commercial space and the community landscape, the grid unit of 12m x 12m acts as a core of replication. In order to expand and adapt, residences can ‘attach’ to or ‘acquire’ another square units. Paired with long-term and temporary rental units, it offers immigrantsand young people the work-in-progress choices of ownership before their settlement in Moscow.
