HI-YA officers and members of Region 8, Welcome to SailoRTC!! As we enter this magical term with many surprises. Let’s learn with our Sailor Guardians and bond with each other in order to have a fabulous year without having any Evil Villains getting in the way of us having the best term yet. During this time we hope you’ll be able to learn more about your positions, how to be an active member and learn the importance of Key Club. We, the presenters and the Region 8 team, hope that once you leave SailoRTC that you’ll be able to face this term with the knowledge, tips, and ambition to help you thrive and have the greatest term ever. So be sure to attend as many presentations, ask questions, take notes, and remember to be yourself as we just want the best for you. Keep in mind that we’ll also be presenting various service projects in which you’ll be able to bond with other members outside your comfort zone and serve community service. Thank you so much for coming to SailoRTC and I hope this training was beneficial in getting you ready for the term. Kickin’ for Service,

Division 13 South Lieutenant Governor

What’s Waddlin’ Icy officers of Region 8? It has been such an unbelievable term so far and I cannot stress how important you are to our organization and the success of our Region. HAHA all serious talk to the side… WELCOME TO SAILORTC! It is so amazing to finally hold our very first Region event together. Although it is online, we have been planning as a region team to make things super duper fun and educational. Region Training Conference is usually an event for you to bond with the entire region and learn about the amazing duties and opportunities Key Club has in store for us. Attending RTC shows your high interest in Key Club and can hopefully motivate you to serve with more passion and more love. RTC this year will be a lot different structure-wise, but we will try our best to make it feel the same as always. We are currently in the middle of breaking through a terrible pandemic. Key word was “breaking” because we are doing such a great job serving and breaking through the ice wall that is keeping us from holding in-person events. However, to the new and returning members, we are doing such a phenomenal job. I want all of you to stay in the same mindset and keep serving. Use this event as a tool and learning experience for what is in store for us. THis is a term that nobody has ever experienced before, so we are here to guide you. To all the officers in our region, you guys are doing amazing and RTC will help you be even more efficient and knowledgeable on how to handle a digital term. To all the members, you guys have been doing a great job serving and supporting your clubs. Thank you Region 8! I cannot stress how important this event is, but it is also important you guys learn the way you want to. Please let us know if there are any issues or concerns and we will help solve it right away. Again, thank you so much and let us have the most wonderful SailoRTC! Waddlin’ with Pride,

Division 19 North Lieutenant Governor

Whether you are an officer or a member, this is the perfect chance for you to find ways to help your club. Once again, thank you for attending. I hope you all have fun and learn something new! What’s poppin’ Region 8! Welcome to SailoRTC!! Being able to see my region after so long is sending me into ORBIT. I hope that all of you are ready for your Sailor Sco- I mean, Region 8 Team, to help you all learn a little bit more about what Key Club has to offer you. We’re halfway through the term now and the progress we all have already made makes me all the more hopeful for what we can get done by the end of this! Officers, I hope you are all continuing to serve your home clubs to the best of your ability. If you have any questions about becoming more involved or on how to make this term special for everyone else, don’t be afraid to reach out! We are all here ready to see YOU prosper despite the odds. All of you have the potential to fulfill some amazing things before the term’s end in just a few months. Why not make the most of it by learning all you can here today? To the members, don’t forget that Key Club has a place for everyone! Our RTC last year was the event that made me re-fall in love with this amazing organization and I couldn’t have been happier with the decisions I have made since then. Whether you have been with us for 2 weeks, 2 months, or 2 years, I want you all to know that there’s always something hidden for you to discover that is bound to make your Key Club experience AMAZING! Make the most out of today and don’t hold back with the curiosity! To everyone who came together to make this event possible: thank you all! From the Kiwanians to the DLT members, all of your hard work put into this event is what makes this an event worthy of being called g-R8! Absolutely none of this could have been possible without any of you. With all of this being said, continue making the most out of today. Even someday when we disappear… and new (LtG’s) are born...Region 8, you will always be invincible (props to you if you recognize this quote). Thank you all for coming out today and I hope you have an ENCHANTING time here at SailoRTC 2020! Rollin’ into Service,

Division 13 West Lieutenant Governor

Hello Region 8!! Welcome to Region Training Conference 2020! I hope you all have a great time with us learning about Key Club with all of your Alien friends. Despite this year’s RTC being on Zoom, we are so excited to have you all and will push through with the situation at hand. To all my officers, I am so proud of you all for staying on task with submissions and hours, it is truly not easy to stay motivated when we don’t even have in person events. To my lovely members, thank you for staying loyal to Key Club especially when we all haven’t seen each other in over 7 months. I appreciate all of you so much and can’t wait to start seeing you in person again! Have fun at SailoRTC! Hoppin’ for Service,

Division 19 South Lieutenant Governor
