Letter From Your Administrative Assistant HELLO SEAMONKEYS! Just like that, RTC is over! That doesn't mean the fun and service has to stop though! FRS is coming up and we can't wait to see everyone cheer their hearts out. Let's bring home the win! Keep up with the service and try to get inducted as well. I'm so happy I get to serve such an amazing division! With that being said, please don't be afraid to contact me or any other Division Leadership Team member with any questions, comments, or concerns! Also, follow the division social media! SEA all of you later!

Katlyn Wong

The Greek

Food Festival “The Greek food festival was a great event to get hours. They were very organized and prepared with how to handle volunteers. The various tasks assigned to volunteers were repetitive, making it easier to get used to and no tasks were excessively tiring or difficult. The event itself was very lively and it was not uncommon to run into someone you know who happened to be enjoying the festival. The staff was very appreciative to everyone and volunteering for such nice people made the event even more enjoyable. On Friday I worked at the gyro station, which was my personal favorite out of all the Greek food they sold there. The fresh smell of the meat, pita, tomatoes, and onions were an added bonus to learning to make gyros. There was great teamwork with everyone and everything was fairly simple. They even let us make our own gyros so we can taste how great they are for ourselves. On Sunday I worked at the Jupiter train, letting little kids and their parent onto the train and taking their boarding passes. The task was repetitive and required very little effort, however it was great to contribute to the smiles of the little kids and their families.

Walk To End Alzheimer's “Chairing the very first major event for our club was amazing! Walk to End Alzheimer's is an event where people walk for those who have passed, had, know, or is supporting someone with Alzheimer's. Having Alzheimer's is very hard, I personally knew someone who had Alzheimer's and passed away. This is my second year going to this event, and my first time chairing it. I always thought chairing such a big event would be stressful; however, it wasn't. Cheering on all the people who were walking was amazing. I won't ever forget the smiles people had on their faces as they walked and the high fives they gave. As people walk, I heard people saying "thank you", and it was heartwarming because not only do I realize I am serve my community, but I also managed to help people continue live their life. Cheering them on was my favorite thing to do, not only did it hype up the crowd who walked but it was such a great thing to do. Cheering people on is great in any situation, and I felt that as we cheered for the people, they were motivated and happy that people were there for them. Seeing the club as a whole as well made me happy as the chair for this event. I got to see our club come together as one and everyone's enthusiasm to keep these people going. Seeing the club together and being able to communicate to different people in the club was wonderful too, I know for sure some of you made new friends! This is one way to start off the year with this amazing walk and hopefully next year's will just be as great too!
