Gorgeous Gardening
Fisher Tomlinson and Keira Barot Alameda
On April 23rd, Alameda Key Club helped at Cohen Bray House, an 1800s historic museum/house (which has a lot of history). During this event members and officers were given gloves, wheelbarrows, and cleaner to help pick up weeds, clean the garden, compost leaves, clean the old tables and much more. In addition to this we also saw a lot of small creatures such as lizards and ladybugs. During the event around half a dozen people showed up and it was a lot of fun to hang out while also helping garden. This service event went pretty smoothly and we hope that more people come next time!

Eggster Franklin Lui KIPP King In April, Kipp King Key Clubbers helped out at the Eggster festival held at UC Berkeley. Our volunteers helped out at the Eggster event by assisting in the setup and running educational booths. The educational booths consist of Mayan Math, Learning new languages, Building Pyramids, and many other educational activities. The Eggster event has allowed our Key Club to connect with our surrounding community. We were able to volunteer alongside students that attends UC Berkeley. 13
