Heyyy!
definitely bittersweet but it was definitely the best so that's all that matters! The spirit days were so cute and the dance was super duper fun. The line for the photo booth took up nearly half of the entire dance but it was pretty worth it. We also had our senior sunrise and it was so beautiful. I got stung by a wasp for the first time which was interesting but my friend gave me a free donut so it was all worth it. I hope you all have a wonderful time at FRN!

A large group of hearty members volunteered at the Oaktown Half Marathon which started at 6 am!! Early birds get the worm they say, and our volunteers did indeed. We helped set up water stations, passing out water to runners and cheering them on as they ran along their path! Members got free shirts in a memorable turquoise shade and enjoyed working together the whole morning.
On September 30th, Alameda Key Club held a color a smile service event and fundraiser at Ding Tea in Alameda. During this event, members and officers were able to color coloring sheets which were given to “senior citizens, oversea troops and anyone who needs a smile” through the color a smile non-profit organization. As well as the event we also held a fundraiser where when you buy a boba (at the event) Alameda Key Club was given a partial amount of the profit. The event lasted about two hours with more than a dozen people showing up and it was a great bonding experience as well as a ton of fun. We hope to hold more events and fundraisers like this in the future!

Members gathered at Lake Chabot to learn and practice their cheers for FRN! There were 3 cheers in total and members split up to practice with different pairs of spirit team members and spirit leaders. We all came together at the end to end the DCM off with one last grand finale as we performed all three cheers together. Let's win that spirit stick llamas!
