HELLO JELLIES, I hope the first month of the new year was good to you. As we are wrapping up our final months of the 2020-2021 Key Club term, I want to say thank you for all you do. Your Club President and I appreciate you more than you know, and we hope you continue to accomplish great things! Also, please take a moment to welcome the Lieutenant Governor-Elect when you have the opportunity to! They will officially be installed in mid-April and will work hard to bring Division 37 East to new heights :)

HELLO D37E~! With the new year starting, I hope you have set a new year’s resolution to kick off 2021! My personal goal for this year is to exercise more. With that in mind, you should also consider getting in more service hours. As always, stay healthy and cautious! Continue to wear a mask, social distance, and wash your hands. It is important to be careful when interacting with others so we can all be one step closer to ending our lockdown~!

CLUB SPOTLIGHT Mission Hills - Snowflake Making Provided by Tracey Ta
On December 8th, we announced that we would be making Snowflakes for Paloma Elementary students in order to spread some holiday cheer. This event started on December 7th and ended on December 15th. For members who didn’t know how to make a snowflake, we placed a video in our linktree, which was a tutorial on how to make snowflakes. In this service event, we had 15 members participate. On December 9th, we decided to announce that we would be having a Snowflake Making Social to go along with this service project. This allowed members to hang out, talk with other members, and play games while we worked on the snowflakes.

CLUB SPOTLIGHT Del Lago - Salvation Army Bell Ringing Provided by Jelly Flores
It felt like time kinda flew by because I was just enjoying spending time with Irma and talking to people that passed by us. I think my favorite part was just standing by the bucket saying “Merry Christmas” to everyone that passed by us because although I could see their faces I knew they were smiling.
High Tech High - Winter Week Provided by Ella Mailliard
During December, from the 14th to the 18th, the High Tech High North County Key Club participated in the service week titled, “Winter Week” which was also partnered with DLA and OGHS. Each day within the week had different choices of service tasks while also staying within a wintery theme to get everyone into the holiday spirit.
