Letter from the Editor!

Letter from the LTG!

Hello Division 46 North!

Hello Red Pandas!

I’m so excited for this new school year to get started! 2014-2015 is another chance for our division to show what we’ve got! This year we’re hoping to demonstrate our Division Spirit even more through service opportunities, activities such as DCM and of course Fall Rally! I hope everyone will enjoy and take advantage of the service projects we’re offering this year, and recommend you to do your best and help out whenever possible!

I hope all of you have had a great start to the school year. Also with this time comes many service opportunities! As Fall Rally approaches, encourage members to serve above and beyond what is expected of them! Welcome new members and freshmen with open arms! All clubs should be heavily recruiting new members, because Who Knows? A future Lieutenant Governor could be out there! Continue serving your home, school and community! Make sure to manage your time to fit both schoolwork and service in your schedule! Enjoy reading this issue of the Red Panda Press! Keep up that service and see you all soon!

Amir and the Division Leadership are working extra hard this year, so we hope everyone will do their best as well!

Modesto Grand Prix

The Modesto Grand Prix was a fun and exciting event for all! The first ever grand prix in Modesto, Key Clubbers helped out throughout the race, and took up a variety of positions to ensure the success of the event! Division 46N helped out at the beverages booth, participated in ticket sales, sold beverages and maintained ice chests to keep drinks cool during the hot day! No easy task! The event ended well, with around 10,000 speculators who attended! We expect to see the Modesto Grand Prix again next year, so well done volunteers!

Walk to End Alzheimer’s Key Clubbers volunteered and participated in this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease. Many from our division participated in this event, good work!

Region 12 Training Conference

This year we had 40 members attend our Region Training Conference at Clovis North High School! It was put together by the LTGs of our combined regions. RTC provided an opportunity to enjoy a special guest speaker and take a look into the service expo! Kangaroos, Red Pandas, Corgis, and Trojans all got to come together and learn more about Key Club and meet members from other divisions. RTC included informative workshops such as: Membership Development, Fundraising, Member Recognition and many more! It was an educational experience for all members!
